The Deer Crib at Flat Rock Farm is a rustic off-grid cabin nestled on 230 acres of private land. Come enjoy peace and quiet, unplug and take a hike , snowshoe or cross country ski. Abundant wildlife around. Miles of trails on the property and the adjoining Tibbetts Forest. Or just sit on the porch and read a book!
It is a short drive to Grafton Lakes State Park or Cherry Plain State Park. 20 minutes to Bennington, VT and Williamstown, MA, 45 Minutes to Albany and Saratoga NY, 30 minutes to Manchester Vt and Ski Areas just beyond. Close to both the Long Trail and the Appalachian Trail.
Cabin includes a 3 burner gas stove, gas grill and a covered porch. A woodstove inside provides heat in the colder months. It comfortable sleep 4 or 5. Potable water and firewood included. A short walk across the lawn to the outhouse. Gas lights inside. No internet so come get away from technology!
