Wooded glampground in Plantersville, TX. Fully furnished glamping canvas bell tents, with premier tents on platforms with electric (and Kuerig coffee pots and coffee!). Sleep 2 - 6 comfortably, depending on the size tent. Tents range in size from 10 - 16 feet. New fully furnished cabins are available to rent too! Kitchens/kitchenettes, full bathrooms, etc - Big Tex, Lil' Tex and The Ren Shack, sleep 4 - 9 people each depending on the cabin size. Glamping vintage trailers are available too, and are also fully furnished with electric, kitchens and bathrooms, and sleep 2-3 people each. Or bring your own small to mid-size RV, tent, or car/truck/van and pick a cool cleared or primitive site of your choice, camp anywhere. We also have 3 electric 30 Amp hookup available. The camp is surrounded by farms and ranches, wineries offering music options (one is dog friendly!). Lake Conroe is 20 minutes to the east. Amenities include a cowboy pool, courtyard seating and camp fire pit, hot showers, bathrooms (currently port-a-potties), fiber wifi, and a potable water/filling station/wash station. Country relaxing with shade! 1 of 3 newer cabins at our camp and it sleeps 4. One king bed, a blow-up queen mattress, bedding, bathroom with shower, game table with chairs, mini-fridge with freezer, microwave, air-fryer, dishes, electric hot plate, k-cup coffee pot, front porch with 2 chairs and tables, parking, picnic table, charcoal grill. It is in the Courtyard area, with access to the main campfire ring for use. 40 min NW of the Greater Houston metro area, 7 miles from the Texas Renaissance Festival, vineyards with live music and local restaurants are nearby as well. Parking at the site is available for 1 vehicle on gravel parking and you are welcome to park a second vehicle at the cabin as well in the grass. There is overflow guest parking near the pirate ship. An outdoor shower house with hot and cold water is also available in case needed, as well as porta-potties and potable water. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We are truly grateful for such a wonderful stay! ❤️ We visited last Saturday, and unfortunately, the rain came down quite heavily. We were a little worried that the weather might ruin our family camping experience, but our amazing host went above and beyond and generously allowed us to upgrade our booking to a cabin. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us. Instead of worrying about the rain, we were able to relax, stay warm and comfortable, and simply enjoy precious time together as a family. 🥰 Thank you so much for your kindness, understanding, and hospitality. Sometimes it’s the little acts of kindness that make a trip truly memorable, and your thoughtfulness made our stay extra special. ❤️ We had such a great time and would absolutely love to come back again.
