Did you know that South Dakota has its own Gettysburg? It’s not quite as well known as its more easterly neighbor, but it’s definitely worth a visit. And, you’ll find the West Whitlock Recreation Area nearby. Unfortunately, you’ll have to settle for camping cabins and campsites (it’s hardly a bad trade off). You can also chill out on the beach, cruise around in your boat, go fishing, or frolic around on the playground.
