Kaw Lake is particularly well known as a crappie habitat. You'll also have the chance to catch sand bass, catfish and walleye in its waters. You can fish from your own craft or rent one from the Pioneer Cove marina. Kaw Lake also features two swimming beaches.
Hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking are popular activities elsewhere in the park. The Eagle View Trail serves all three purposes admirably. Take this 12-mile trip for a cliffside view
