The cabin was clean and well-stocked, the A/C kept us cool, the shower was hot, the kitchen had everything we needed for meals. The nights were quiet, perfect for fires and nature. We will be back!

Spectacular view, cozy, private. It was a great stay and so much to do around Buffalo River and other state parks. Eden Falls is an absolute must! Just don't take Stoverville Road all the way! We did & it was great but only if you have a 4WD truck or other off-road vehicle! Newton County is a dry county so if you like adult beverages, bring your own. Same with food, bring enough and any special condiments. Ronald supplies cookware, etc. Comfy bed too!

This was a great spot that felt very secluded for being so close to town! It was nice and quiet throughout our time there. We enjoyed the short walk down to the lake. We tent camped with our dogs and used the shed for dry storage which was so nice to have. Chairs and fire pit tools were an added bonus. As with any Arkansas camping, be sure to use your bug spray and check for ticks often!

With identical floor plans, each cabin sleeps 4-6 and has a carpeted upstairs loft area with bathroom, closet, a queen bed and two twin beds. The bathroom is equipped with a single sink, toilet, shelves, mirror, and shower. The open downstairs living area features wood floors and a fully equipped kitchen with full-size refrigerator/freezer, oven with cooktop, microwave, coffee pot, and dishes, and a sitting area with a pull-out sleeper sofa (either full or queen) or twin bed in the back room. Each cabin also has both a front and back porch with charcoal grill and furniture for enjoying the outdoors. Please bring your own drinking water as the well water has sulphur in it. Each cabin is equipped with a propane heater and wood stove, and we're happy to get the fire started for you if you need a bit of help. During the summer, the cabins stay cool in the shade of the woods with a window AC unit and ceiling fans. We do not have WIFI. We do have televisions and DVD players available for watching movies. We still find wild strawberries growing. The hills we ride and hike in, were once used by Jessie James and his gang.  They robbed the local bank in Pineville, MO.  And the first Jessie James movie, filmed in 1939, with Tyrone Power as Jessie James and Henry Fonda played Frank James.
