Sites are very spacious at 75' x 20' plus picnic, firepit, and seating areas. Guests have private access to the Big Fork Creek with swimming holes and waterfalls. We are also located near the Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails, and guests can ride directly to the trails from their RV site. Local rental companies are available for anyone not wanting to bring their own ATVs. There is plenty of overflow parking for trailers for those that do bring their own on the property as well.

We stayed in this cute little cabin in the woods near Glenwood and used it as a perfect base camp for exploring the area. The cabin is small, yet the floor plan is thoughtfully laid out so the space feels maximized. In addition to the two queen beds, we used the two sleeping mats for extra sleeping space and found them quite comfortable. Having a small fridge and freezer plus a washer was a big help, and since it was summer I hung our laundry on the provided clothesline to dry (a dryer is available too). The location is quiet—there are neighbors on the road, but the summer foliage completely hid them from view and we never heard a sound. One of my sons especially loved hunting for quartz and gemstones in the yard and put together a sparkling little collection. We explored the Saturday Farmers Market, the Mercantile downtown with its local goods, and spent time swimming and fishing on the nearby Caddo River. We’d recommend this place if you want a rustic camping vibe but still appreciate a locking door, real beds, a shower, and a spot to store and cook your food. Great little getaway!

Wonderful cabin, my fiance has grown up going to that cabin, always been super close to the family that owns it. Can’t wait to do it again next year.

3 nights at Sacred Pines

The cabin has a lot of character and neat decor. It was really nice to have 1.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer! The back patio is nice and large, which was great since it rained a bit each day we stayed. My family and I spent the majority of our days out there. When we weren’t relaxing on the patio, we went on adventures all over the beautiful and well maintained property. There is a nice pavilion, a pond, and plenty of trails to explore. Thank you Miranda for a lovely weekend getaway!!!

2 nights at Kelly Hollow Farm Stays

We had the best time staying at Mike’s place! Location is very close to downtown Hot Springs. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed meeting the goats, pigs, chickens, and other animals around the farm. My son got to milk a goat and we enjoyed some fresh goat milk with breakfast! The hot tub was a nice touch as well. Highly recommend this experience!

Lake Sylvia Campground

This campground is incredibly well maintained. The campsites almost all have access to power and water which would make it super easy to be out there with a trailer for an extended period of time. The area is beautiful. We brought our trailer and standup paddle boards to get around the lake. There’s also a really pretty hike with a trailhead at the back of the campground.

Camp Clearfork Recreation Area

Just a fantastic get-away camp for all ages with spring fed lake nestled down into the surrounding hills. Used to go on memorial day fat tire mtb festivals each year for next to free, 3-5 days of blissful peace and nonstop recreation in a mess camp setting with folks from all over to enjoy and suffer slightly with on the many bike adventures. Folk from nearby Ark. would organize, plan for and provide so much joy for so little in asking they quit after 5-6 yrs. Dallas-Ft. Worth people took it up to reserve the weekend for many more.. a little out of the way but alot of good times to be had hiking, trekking, digging crystals and boating, fishing or paddling only a stone throw, great places to discover by bicycle and clean spring waters abound

Charlton Recreation Area

We had a wonderful time here last year! Our grandchildren loved playing in the creek by the bridge and swimming in the dammed off area! Chasing lightning bugs was a big hit! We saw several deer right outside the door of our camper. Very peaceful and serene area (after the grands went home). Plan on coming back here every year!
