I can still remember my daddy plowing this ground with a big black team of mules. For the past 20 years we have raised Buffalo. But the commitment has always been the same. Taking the time to help your neighbor, even if he does not ask. Keeping your word, a man is only as good as his word . Treating people fairly and with respect, if you can not respect others you can not respect yourself. And for each generation to leave the land in better shape than when you started farming it.

Our 3 acres are on the road leading to Buffalo Point river access on the Buffalo National River.
The property has history - you can see remnants of the Lynch in-ground waterslide locals enjoyed in the 70s winding down our ridge. The Baker Lodge was built on the slide entrance, with our sleeping cabins overlooking both the trees down the ridge and the slide. The house on property was once a restaurant and was converted to a duplex to host travelers to the Buffalo River years ago.
Our acreage adjoins the Buffalo National River Park boundaries and you can explore around the ridge. Buffalo Point is literally at the end of our street. You can hike an amazing trail called Indian Rockhouse - it's interesting and fun every season. Hikes along the Buffalo River Trail are minutes away, and outfitters are within walking distance - they can help you with rafting, kayaking, canoeing and even guided tours and fishing guides.

The cottage is well furnished, very private, and includes convenient outdoor outlets for overnight electric vehicle charging. We're in close proximity to the Buffalo River at Buffalo Point park and also the historic mining town of Rush, and access to Redbud Cottage is along our private and well-maintained one-mile gravel road. The cottage has two double beds in the lower level bedroom as well as a queen bed in the upper level loft. A futon couch in the living room folds out to a double bed, as needed. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and cooking utensils of every kind. Both the stove and refrigerator are full size, there is also a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and the kitchen table seats six. Bed linens, towels, pillows and blankets are supplied. The bath is a tub and shower combination. There is a charcoal grill in the yard, but please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Enjoy our screened deck, covered picnic area, and outdoor fire pit and there is ample level parking for vehicles, canoes, and other outdoor gear. We offer Satellite TV. The cottage is air conditioned for your comfort, and gas heat assures comfort year round.

The water is set to HOT, and we have it set there because the hot water heater is a travel trailer size, so it only puts out a small amount of hot water. Please don't burn your hands washing them!
Also feel free to turn it down if you need to, it is right under the kitchen sink.
We recommend expecting a quick shower or turning the water off and on to soak your hair if you need to wash it and then lathering up.
If the house is smelling bad in the bathroom, that is not normal and we will come and fix it.

The space
We have 5 beautiful and comfortable log cabins nestled on over 700 acres of secluded private property in the Ozark mountains. The cabins are within walking distance from one another if you are interested in renting multiple cabins for a family reunion or such, but not visible from each other to allow for privacy from other guests. The only sounds you'll hear are the wind in the trees and the occasional critter come to spy on our guests!
With identical floor plans, each cabin sleeps 4-6 and has a carpeted upstairs loft area with bathroom, closet, a queen bed and two twin beds. The bathroom is equipped with a single sink, toilet, shelves, mirror, and shower.
The open downstairs living area features wood floors and a fully equipped kitchen with full-size refrigerator/freezer, oven with cooktop, microwave, coffee pot, and dishes, and a sitting area with a pull-out sleeper sofa (either full or queen) or twin bed in the back room. Each cabin also has both a front and back porch with charcoal grill and furniture for enjoying the outdoors. Please bring your own drinking water as the well water has sulphur in it.
Each cabin is equipped with a propane heater and wood stove, and we're happy to get the fire started for you if you need a bit of help. During the summer, the cabins stay cool in the shade of the woods with a window AC unit and ceiling fans.
We do not have WIFI. We do have televisions and DVD players available for watching movies. Activities on the ranch include hiking, fishing, or heading down to the barn for a trail ride (please inquire about rates and availability), and we are conveniently located about 30 - 45 minutes away from historic downtown Eureka Springs, the Buffalo National River, Table Rock Lake, or shopping, shows, amusement parks and dining in Branson, Missouri.

Weekend Trip to The Ridge at Buffalo Point
We had so much fun at this cabin! It’s the right size for a weekend getaway with a bed, small Roku TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, grill, and fire pit. The private bathhouse was a short walk from the cabin and was nice after a long day of outdoor activities. The property also offers a disc golf totem, swings, and open area to run around in. The location is also really close to the lower area of the Buffalo River. Easily a 5-10 minute drive to anything. Also, loved having Wild Bills, a gas station and convenience store, a short walk away for anything we forgot or needed. Loved meeting the gray kitty on the property. He was an absolute sweetheart and loved pets. Would definitely stay here again!!

Spectacular view, cozy, private. It was a great stay and so much to do around Buffalo River and other state parks. Eden Falls is an absolute must! Just don't take Stoverville Road all the way! We did & it was great but only if you have a 4WD truck or other off-road vehicle! Newton County is a dry county so if you like adult beverages, bring your own. Same with food, bring enough and any special condiments. Ronald supplies cookware, etc. Comfy bed too!

It was a cozy cabin that had everything we needed and the hot tub was a nice bonus as well. We also enjoyed the trip through the farm to see all of the animals they raise.

The host was prompt and attentive. We throughly enjoyed the peace and quiet along with the amazing sunrises. An extra added benefit was the puppy snuggles from the adorable white pups who sat with me in the porch.

We loved our stay at the Buffalo Farm cabin 1! It was exactly as pictured and went above and beyond our expectations. Star gazing while in the hot tub was unbelievable! We also saw a fox in the field behind the cabin. The cabin was in a great location - in the quiet countryside, but not too remote. An added bonus was LC’s tour of his farm. It was fun to see the animals (some close up) but our favorite was getting to feed the buffalo. LC is an amazing host and took care to make sure we had an awesome stay. Can’t wait to go back!

The place was so cute, clean, and cozy. It is rustic but nice. Easy check in. The view of the lake from the back desk is beautiful! Hosts were very helpful. Would highly recommend.

The drive to the site is a little nerve wracking due to steep drop offs and narrow roads that are gravel. People drive way too fast on them. The camping area is primitive, but clean and offers a good bit of privacy. The river is beautiful and serene. WELL worth the drive. We will be back to float the river!
