This new site is great!!!! It’s a little more tucked away. The fire ring area was separate from the tent space and the picnic table was nicely placed. I’d also like to mention the smaller gravel for comfort on the tent pad.

Joe and Megan were the best hosts you can ask for. Their communication and interactions were exactly what first timers needed. The tent was warmed when arrived. They brought bfast in the morning which was delish especially the fruit. The location was secluded and had an enjoyable trail walk. They assisted with a request which made the experience even better. We would def come back. The outhouse was clean too!! Thanks for a memorable experience.

This was a great campsite in a beautiful area. We enjoyed hiking the trails accessed right from the site. Joe and Megan provided water and firewood. They were very easy to communicate with and accommodating. The outhouse was clean. It was a great, quiet place to stay!

We loved this upscale comfy tent at Stump Creek! It was close to freezing temps in the morning but the little heater kept us toasty warm inside! Megan’s muffins and noosa yogurt with fruit was so extra, but the smores too? Such a great stay. Thanks Joe and Megan!

So many conveniences: location, out house, potable water and a cooler with goodies. The tent was amazing and being able to crank on the propane heater knocked the chill off the 37°F night temps. The whole experience was clean & tidy - we look forward to staying at Stump Creek again in the future.

My daughters and I stayed at Stump Creek for the weekend and we loved it. There’s plenty of wooded land to explore and the wild blueberries we picked were a hit. They were everywhere. Joe and his family were very welcoming and helpful with hiking/travel tips. We would definitely recommend staying there if you are in the area.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. We stayed in Miner tent and it was a great experience. It is conveniently located close, but not too close, to the outhouse. It was very secure due to the platform it was on. It was warm due to the stove installed. It was very cozy due to the comfortable bed, bedding and tables provided. Very clean as well. On top of that they included games, fresh water, firewood and breakfast which was such a lovely and appreciated surprise. Loved that we could have our dogs, they even accommodated for them as well. Our host offered us a pack n play for our son which we had our own but was still very appreciated. The property is small and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. We are Alaskans but never camped in this area before, we were in awe of how beautiful the sky is at night with little to no light pollution. The northern lights we saw were some top notch. All in all, highly recommend. We will be back for sure.

Perfect camping stop on our way to visit Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. The campsite was great, and hosts (Joe and Megan) were very easy to communicate with and always quick to respond. Bundles of campfire wood available on site for purchase, a shower, and a beautiful trail on the property made it better than any other campsite we've stayed at for this value.

Joe was a great host!! His setup at Stump Creek was amazing!! Our family of 5 really enjoyed staying in his Prospectors tent and on his land. He even allowed us to pitch a tent next to it so my son and I could tent camp. Joe was easy to contact and we enjoyed talking with him. He provided some great homemade scones in the morning along with fruit and yogurt. We are looking forward to coming back again to stay and ride our wheelers in the area. Highly recommend staying at Stump Creek!!

We came across this spot at the last minute on our way to Chitina and it was a beautiful place!! The shower and outhouse were immaculately clean. The property was quiet and beautiful. Joe came to meet us when we were setting up camp to say hi and brought us some firewood for the fire pit. We just stayed the one night this trip but we will definitely be back to check out the rest of the property!! It was a wonderful experience!

Great stay on Joe's property! Well kept accommodations, facilities, and grounds. Had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The heater in the tent kept things cozy throughout the night and we stayed warm and dry during the rain. Hot shower and clean outhouse was a plus. Tent came equipped with a bundle of firewood and there was more nearby available. Was able to indulge in Reese's pieces s'mores which were provided! Joe checked on us upon arrival to make sure he had everything we needed and came by in the morning again to make sure things went well. Would definitely stay again!

Staying at Joe's place was excellent! The land and wall tents are well taken care of. The location was easy to find and everything matched the description. Joe came by to make sure we had everything we needed. The shower was very nice to have and worked great. Having the small heater in the tent took the chill out of the air and made for a warm and cozy evening while it was raining outside.

Glamping at its best! Joe and Megan were very nice and welcoming. They provided everything you need for camping trip and more. All you need is your toothbrush! (And I bet they have a spare if you need it). The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The showers and toilets were very clean! They provided breakfast of fresh fruit, baked scones, juice, coffee, hot cocoa, tea, and yogurt. S'mores for dessert. Bug spray and zapper. Even games!

As always our hosts were very friendly and helpful! We love staying at Stump Creek with our dog Thor, it's becoming an annual stop in our adventures. We love that our site was propped and ready before we arrived. The bathrooms are amazing and the shower is beautiful!

Great tent, great spot quiet and private, the campground is right off the highway yet super quiet, all I heard was the wind through the trees. Joe is a great host. He assured we had everything we needed, and gave me his cell number in case we needed anything. Campground is safe quiet and adjacent to thousands of acres of Alaska wilderness. I will be back soon

Joe and Megan are AMAZING hosts! They kept in touch with us leading up to the date we booked, a then they greeted us after we were set up. Stump Creek BnB is an amazing camp site! You'll have an unbroken 360° view of the sky with no light pollution, if you want to see the northern lights, this is an amazing spot! The facilities are not just clean, but immaculate! (Litaraly the best, cleanest and well maintained pit toilets I have ever seen... and I've driven/camped across the country 3 times!) We didn't use the shower, but we looked around, it too was beautiful with towel racks and a separate changing room! The tent site we stayed at was level, easy to steak and had plenty of room to pitch anything from a backpack tent to a 3 bedroom family tent, or even a car mounted tent like ours. With all that space, you feel secluded from the other camp sites, but not disconnected. There's fire wood available to buy and easily accessible. We bought 4 more bundles on day two. Our dog loved it there, it was easy to tie off a run for him. Joe and Megan are so accommodating, they really enjoy helping their guests and meeting new people. Definitely take advantage of their free wifi, there's little to no cell service and being connected is the best way to contact your amazing hosts. My wife and I were so impressed, we'll definitely be back next season!

I have stayed at numerous Hipcamps and Stump Creek is my favorite so far! The hosts are awesome! And, it’s a great value for a sweet spot to stay. I look forward to a night or two in the wall tents. I had the privilege to take a little tour and they look like the epitome of cozy!!!

My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our first tent glamping adventure. I could really get used to this style of camping! The attention to detail provided by the host was outstanding. Very clean outhouses, shower house, tents and beds. They provided, tissues, bug spray, wipes, a basket of games, and more. S'more supplies were ready and waiting when we arrived as well as delicious, fresh baked scones and juice for breakfast. We slept great, stayed warm and dry and were able to keep the bugs out of the tent. We also enjoyed playing capture the flag on the property, walking to the creek and sitting around the fire. This is a great place for a quick getaway and you don't have to bring much in the way of gear. We look forward to staying here again, hopefully sometime soon.

The canvas tent, a comfy queen bed, friendly owners, and amazing amenities made for such a relaxing stay! Our stay here allowed us to relax before an early morning drive. Breakfast was provided and so many other amenities such as water, bug spray, can opener, wood, and a citronella candle! Would definitely stay again.

This was a perfect last minute find for the holiday. The tent is exactly as expected from the listing, but it was the details that really make this special. A down comforter, games to play, fire ring ready, fancy tea and coffee station, extra throws and a rocking chair all made it feel luxurious and homey. The cooler not only had a really nice breakfast, but also s'mores fixings. This is glamping at it's best. The owners were a lovely couple that truly care about this family property. We feel really lucky that we were the first ones that got to stay in this new tent.
