Herb met and accommodated many wonderful guests and had a blast doing it. The red bluff in the background was a very strategic vantage point for early Indigenous Americans for hunting game that roamed the creek bottom. The rest of this exciting story will have to be heard when you get here. The Redwater Creek is full of Brown and Rainbow trout. They are sneaky little buggers that can actually hear your footsteps when you are fishing along the bank. Camp Barlow was perfect! Nice area with plenty of space at each camp spot. Not your ordinary porta potty! Stocked with TP and paper towels and water was a nice surprise. Several deer came around, we heard turkeys in the area and in the early morning hour we were serenaded by a what I assume were coyotes. Felt safe and the view was beautiful.

Wonderful secluded spot. As others have mentioned, the road to the spot isn't maintained by the city/state, so make sure your vehicle has at least 6in-12in of clearance. The tent platform and fire pit are awesome. I recommend going for a long walk down the road, you will end up near the base of Terry ski area. The host are also great, sent a long message with helpful info. We'll be back!
