The Bearlodge Mountain Resort can be a quiet getaway from a hectic lifestyle, a base camp for hunting, an adventure-packed vacation, or a great spot to stay while you tour area attractions.​ Where "networking" is two pickups parked in the middle of the road so that their drivers can visit. Where we go grocery shopping in the woods during the fall. Where "neighbors" might live two hours away or just down the road. Where directions are given in "north and south" instead of "right and left". Life's a little slower, people a little more sincere and a handshake still means something! PLEASE READ: IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TENT CAMPING: I don't have any shower or bathroom facilities. The closest place I know of is the Conoco a mile north of my place on Cleveland St. They have a truck stop and I'm told the shower is nice. There is a chance I won't be on site to greet you, but so far everyone has been incredibly respectful and found some great places to put up a tent. I trust you!

So thankful to Missy and Chris for sharing their property! They are not only gracious hosts, but just really wonderful humans. The duo cabin set up is amazing! They had everything you need to to relax, cook, and enjoy nature. We also had great neighbors that joined for a fire at night and swapped stories while enjoying the evening. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the outdoor shower is a heavenly way to wash off a day of exploring. I can't wait to spend more time at Naked Acres!

Melissa and Chris were very welcoming & their property is absolutely gorgeous. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing getaway with beautiful scenery & wildlife. The pond was a great added bonus. The cabins were so charming and we didn’t want for anything, as everything was already thought of by the hosts. We will definitely be back and plan on bringing some friends as it’s a must see. Also the drive in was surrounded by wildflowers. Stunning!

2 nights at Devils Tower Tipi Camping
First and foremost, Juliana is an amazing host. She greeted me when I arrived, and was thorough in acquainting me with the tipi setup and situation. The tipi stay itself was everything I expected and more. Everyone I told about where I was staying was wowed, and so was I with the experience. As the name implies, the Devils Tower is the primary attraction, although I’d argue that the tipis are right up there with it. And the view from the tipis site is… devilish. :). I took several photos at various times of the day with my, and other, tipis in perspective with the tower and the Missouri buttes. The sunset photos were amazing. Speaking of views, there is a small promontory beside the site with a mown path to a point where you get a spectacular view of the tower with the lower valley and canyons in the perspective. All in all, my stay was amazing and I will likely return.

The Hulett Motel's Riverside Chalet cabin was quiet, clean, and comfortable. It's not glamorous but it's exactly what we needed after a lonnnng day of driving, and so perfect as a launching point for a Devil's Tower sunrise walk the next morning. The staff were helpful and friendly, the creekside running by the cabins was full of songbirds as we awakened, and the little town has good options for cafe/bar/dive bar refreshments. Juliana was very friendly, had great local recommendations and was very close to Devil’s Tower. She also had a lovely path down to a lookout area of the tower which we enjoyed. We would stay here again, so cool!

Weekend Trip to Naked Acres WY
Melissa and Chris were amazing hosts! The location is unbelievably beautiful and peaceful. The cabins are small and tidy and were perfect for my husband and me in the bedroom cabin and our teenage son in the kitchen cabin with futon. They have a friendly dog that got along well with ours. Chris stopped by to make sure we didn’t need anything. We enjoyed it immensely and would definitely recommend this stay!! (Outhouse was also very clean)

I loved staying in a tipi on Juliana’s property. The views were amazing and we were just about 10 mins away from the tower. Juliana was super welcoming and helpful. Would recommend to everyone passing through the area! Thank you.
