The Little Cabin offers a mountainside basecamp, getaway, vacation or a more scenic overnight travel stop to allow you and your fur baby to enjoy some Wyoming open space. A microwave, insta pot, mini fridge and propane grill allow for simple meals to be prepared for inside or outside dining or stop for a meal in any of the communities along your way here. Bring water, cabin is dry and snacks. I do keep some basics in the cabin so if you are traveling grab a meal, snacks and some water, the cabin is stocked with the rest of what you'll need for a night's stay without having to unpack the vehicle. If you're traveling I80, the Little Cabin is a great place to enjoy the sunset or just a peaceful night's sleep after enjoying the Snowy Range Scenic byway in the summer and a possible work around if the interstate is closed in the winter. If you're coming in from Denver/Ft Collins, Co area, Poudre Canyon is a beautiful drive and can take you thru Walden, Co or bring you in on Wyo 10. Feel free to reach out if you have questions on the routes, scenic stops, cut overs or short cuts. There is Hiking, Fishing, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country skiing, Downhill skiing, (Snowy Range Ski Area) Hot Springs, Mountain Lakes, Plains Lakes, the Big Laramie River, all with in a 5-to-90-mile radius. There is public access, dogs allowed, to the Big Laramie River across the highway where you can fish or walk the public access path that runs alongside it. Watching the wildlife is an experience of its own. From Chipmunks to deer, we see an assortment. If you enjoy birds and their sounds, you can pick a spot and enjoy. If you are a weather watcher, you may see 3-4 seasons in one day depending on the time of year. It's a great place to snuggle in, read a book, write a book, watch a downloaded movie or just sleep, but disconnect from the chaos and the alerts.

This is a new Hipcamp listing! We have several years of 5 star reviews on other sites, with a proven history of happy Glampers. King’s Canyon is taking reservations for spring. It is closed from October through February. Nestled in a private canyon just 20 minutes from Fort Collins, this 5-star RV stay offers the perfect escape. Don’t worry about rv parks, dump stations, and utilities. It’s all taken care of for you, nestled on a custom dug terrace overlooking my private canyon. Sunrises and sunsets are a dream! This RV is parked for you, set, and ready to enjoy. City water is on site via a 250 gallon fresh water tank (I fill it for each visitor). I also take care of the sewage and grey tanks for every visitor. This is an off grid property, with all the amenities you need. There is no cell service, but I have you covered. Starlink satellite is on site, and gives you super fast, high speed connection. Enjoy 20 acres of wildflowers, quiet nights, and stunning canyon views. Firewood is provided for your camp fire, in either of the two fire pits just steps from the rv. A nearby shed also offers a place for luggage, trash storage, etc and gives you more room in the rv. The RV is solar-powered with a backup diesel generator. and fully equipped for comfort. It has a queen size bed, two bunk beds, and a convertible dining table that makes into another full sized bed. Sleep 5 in comfort. Adventure nearby: fish the Poudre River (10 minutes) or catch live music at Mishawaka Amphitheater (20 minutes). Peace. Quiet. Spring colors. Adventure. Kings Canton is tucked away, and access isn’t too bad. I have spent 8 years rebuilding the road for access by most vehicles. Four wheel drive is recommended just in case, but not necessary. The private road has loose gravel in spots. Most SUVs can access. I have had my Ford Focus and my Toyota Prius up there (although some people say I’m crazy). I don’t recommend kings canyon for anyone with fear of heights! The roads are safe, but there are steep drops and switchbacks. Explore my property and witness hummingbird migrations. They fly here from Mexico. If you’re unsure about access, or anything else, please message me prior to booking and I’ll give you my honest assessment. No one knows Kings Canyon better than I do!

We have stayed at Buford Canyon 3 times and each time we are welcomed warmly. Blue Moon cabin particularly is a peaceful getaway in every way. From sunsets on the canyon rim to fireside reading and complete privacy, don't hesitate to book yourself a few nights there to relax in the evenings after days full of adventure at Vedauwoo and Medicine Bow National Forest!

Linda's cabin was exactly what we were looking for - a place to get off our phones, relax and have fun with our pup. I spent most of the daylight hours outside wrapped in a blanket on the Adirondack chairs with my furry buddy at my feet. The cabin is well equipped with a a heater, microwave, mini fridge and electric kettle. There is also a propane BBQ just outside the cabin which we didn't use this trip, but will keep in mind for future visits. Our pup, Petra, had so much fun and I felt very comfortable having her off leash while exploring the property. She loved the treats Linda left for her each day! We were very comfortable; it was the perfect getaway.

I just happened to have the bunk room to myself. It was clean, quiet and comfortable! The bathroom was also clean and fully stocked.

Beautiful spot and perfect weekend getaway! Linda is a gem (thank you for the cookies!) and she thought of everything you could possibly need in this little cabin. It was just enough of a disconnect balanced with the modern convenience of electricity. I'm already excited to find a time to go back!

We had such a great stay at the Blue Moon Cabin! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was gorgeous and the cabin was very private. We really enjoyed the outdoor lounge area with the fire table. The outdoor shower was really a fun experience too! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time staying at the Crow cabin. It was so nice and warm and the hospitality was great. We appreciated being able to add on a shower and charcoal for the grill and only wished we could’ve stayed longer.

Sugarloaf Campground

A great camp ground with two water pumps and bathrooms. Each area has a tent pad, fire pit and picnic table. Great views and very close to trails and tons of lakes. Campground was peaceful and quiet, unsure if one campground can hold more than one tent ours did not. Some places are first come first serve while others are reserved only, we got lucky on a Friday and snagged the last campground it’s really popular here! No firewood available so remember to bring your own! 20$ a night

Curtis Gulch Campground

Curtis Gulch is a magical place as it's described. The La Bonte stream runs parallel to the campsite and is a short hike. The only negative thing to camping there is the road leading into the area. It is very rough and narrow in some areas. Drive slow and a 4WD pickup pulling a camper can make it. Do not expect cell service. All the camp sites are primative meaning no water or electrical hook-ups. There is one (what I would call) updated outhouse. It's best to go during the week as it starts filling up on Friday. We drove over to another campsite but the campsites were closer together and maybe only one was big enough to back a small RV into. Fire rings are available. A pump is available with well water. The area is clean.

Vedauwoo Campground

Super windy spot but the rock features are very unique and there were even some climbers. The stars were GORGEOUS at night. My biggest complaint is that it's fairly close to the highway.

Rob Roy Campground

Camped there over the weekend, no one around except for 3 other camping groups in the upper loops. There is no potable water there anymore in the upper loops. might be down lower or near the boat ramp. Bring your paddleboards, kayaks and fishing poles as there is tons or shoreline to explore.

Vedauwoo Campground

Busy in the summer, empty in the fall and spring during the cold months. Great rock climbing, hiking and fishing. Watch out for firearms shooting in the area.

Campbell Creek Campground

Campbell Creek is a beautiful little campground tucked in among pine trees with rock formations on one side. There is plenty of space between sites and is super quiet. At least during my stay, we hardly saw anyone in the area as you are remote, with Douglas being the closest town. Note that there are warning signs of bears in the area, so you must practice food safety (food kept inside hard-sided trailers, vehicles, or bear resistant containers).

Vedauwoo Campground

There are some really cool hike-in tent sites amongst the boulders. There is hiking and climbing just a short walk from the campground. The noise from the interstate is the only con to this campground.
