Step out the door of this cozy little rustic, dry, one room mountainside cabin, to disconnect from Wi-Fi (none) and chaos to view sunsets, wide open, star filled, and moon lit night skies with the Milky Way and a few satellites as a bonus.
The Little Cabin offers a mountainside basecamp, getaway, vacation or a more scenic overnight travel stop to allow you and your fur baby to enjoy some Wyoming open space. A microwave, insta pot, mini fridge allow for simple meals to be prepared for inside or outside dining or stop for a meal in any of the communities along your way here. Bring water, cabin is dry, and snacks. I do keep some basics in the cabin so if you are traveling grab a meal, snacks and some water, the cabin is stocked with the rest of what you'll need for a night's stay without having to unpack the vehicle. If you're traveling I80, the Little Cabin is a great place to enjoy the sunset or just a peaceful night's sleep after enjoying the Snowy Range Scenic byway in the summer, and the back way a possible work around if the interstate is closed in the winter or I80 coming from the east it’s an easy off ramp. If you're coming in from Denver/Ft Collins, Co area, Poudre Canyon is a beautiful drive and can take you thru Walden, Co or bring you in on Wyo 10. There is Hiking, Fishing, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country skiing, Downhill skiing, (Snowy Range Ski Area) Hot Springs, Mountain Lakes, Plains Lakes, the Big Laramie River, all with in a 5-to-90-mile radius. There is public access, dogs allowed, to the Big Laramie River across the highway where you can fish or walk the public access path that runs alongside it.
Watching the wildlife is an experience of its own. From Chipmunks to deer, we see an assortment. If you enjoy birds and their sounds, you can pick a spot and enjoy. If you are a weather watcher, you may see 3-4 seasons in one day depending on the time of year. It's a great place to snuggle in, read a book, write a book, watch a downloaded movie or just sleep, but disconnect from the chaos and the alerts.

The North Platte River runs right through town. The restaurants are top tier! Did I mention we also have a lake? We have blue river fishing. right by the hot springs a couple of blocks away. Not only is there a river, pool, hot springs access, there is also a park and micro beer pub with great food, kids games and a spa. Check out our dog park in town for the other kids. (Saratoga Dog Park) To much to mention.

The Cabin was perfect for my husband and I while traveling through the area for our anniversary. It was a warm few days, however the air conditioner kept it nice and cool. The bathroom and shower house was exceptionally clean for a campground with several guests. If we are in the area again we would definitely stay again.

The folks at the front desk were super friendly and the caramel corn was delish! We paid the extra to be in the trees and it was well worth it. Our site backed up to the river. The sites are a bit small and there is some traffic noise during the day. But you are very close to great hiking and scenery and the restaurant was quite good

This was a great secluded spot. You have the camper all to yourself. Inside there is a fridge and some cooking appliances and cooking wear. This was a quick stop for me so I was in and out. Quiet, all to yourself. If thats what you want for an inexpensive visit that sign yourself up. Just be aware there is a daily long gravel road in order to make it to the camper.

This property is absolutely breathtaking. The setting high in the mountains is stunning, and the views alone made the trip memorable. We enjoyed kayaking, saw a moose during our stay, and loved exploring the property. The owner's woodworking and creative touches throughout the site are unique and add a lot of character. Communication was excellent, and the hosts were very kind and responsive.
That said, future guests should know this is a very remote mountain property. The drive up is much more challenging than we expected and requires a vehicle with good clearance; four-wheel drive is strongly recommended. The road conditions and travel time to the property are important to consider when planning your stay.
We were the very first guests to stay here, so some growing pains were expected. Several amenities listed in the description were unavailable or not operational during our visit, and a few areas appeared to still be a work in progress.
The vision for this place is absolutely there. With some updates, maintenance, and a few refinements to better align the listing with the guest experience, I think this could become a truly special destination. We are grateful for the opportunity to experience such a beautiful piece of Wyoming.

Linda’s directions were perfect given we lost cell service a few miles out from Jelm. Read them carefully beforehand! She’s an incredibly responsive host and extremely thoughtful with her guests. The location is beautiful and property was great to walk. Our pups loved it. Watching the sunset from bed made me appreciate being away from technology.

This campsite was perfect for us! We were on our way to Mt Rushmore and needed a wide-open place for the dogs to run around. There was some cactus scattered about, but that was not a deterrent. The site was great!
The directions were good. We were able to find it easily in the dark when we arrived. Fortunately the dirt roads were dry and easy to navigate with our RV. However, if the roads were muddy, it may have been a little harder to get there.

Perfect stay at Laradise Mountain View! Katlyn’s property is convenient to I-80 and amenities yet so peaceful and isolated from “the rest of the world”. Katlyn met me upon arrival and made sure I had everything I needed. The site is quite large, nicely graded and level. Having the place to myself (only 1 site available) made my stay very relaxing. The wind was pretty calm when I stayed but I still tucked my rig beside the large shop for extra shelter in case the wind did pick up. Lots of positioning options for most size rigs. I was able to watch the sun set and rise from my spot. This will be a regular stop for my travels!!

This is such a hidden gem. Me and my friends had the best time and the views were some of the best we’ve ever seen. You’re far enough from the other cabins on property to feel secluded but close enough to Deborah for if you need anything. Deborah also has snow shoes for adventuring which was one of the trip highlights. As the listing says there is no running water but there is potable water you can get from a short walk, but it was nice to feel rugged. Additionally if anyone has asthma the stove may be an issue since with high winds some smoke can get into the cabin.
We saw one moose on our way out near the town. It was also the best star gazing we’ve ever seen. We will 100% have to come back and recommend anyone come here for their next get away.
