Tent or RV sites along the hayfield. Cows are gone in the summer, but there are Llama//alpacas, chickens, horses, dogs and a cat. Great star watching at night. Occasional Aurora Borealis and falling/shooting stars. The property backs up to a State section of 640 acres for short hikes.
I have one site #4 that has water and electric, no septic, There is a hydrant available for water. Please be reasonable, if you need to fill up a large amount please let me know. I now have a PortaPotty on site. I have a shed with electricity if you need to charge cell phones etc, This is my second summer with Hipcamp. I am flexible, please communicate if you have different requirements or needs. If you have a bigger group, reach out. I now have firewood available. Also Grass fed grass finished beef. Hamburger and steak!

Step out the door of this cozy little rustic, dry, one room mountainside cabin, to disconnect from Wi-Fi (none) and chaos to view sunsets, wide open, star filled, and moon lit night skies with the Milky Way and a few satellites as a bonus.
The Little Cabin offers a mountainside basecamp, getaway, vacation or a more scenic overnight travel stop to allow you and your fur baby to enjoy some Wyoming open space. A microwave, insta pot, mini fridge and propane grill allow for simple meals to be prepared for inside or outside dining or stop for a meal in any of the communities along your way here. Bring water, cabin is dry and snacks. I do keep some basics in the cabin so if you are traveling grab a meal, snacks and some water, the cabin is stocked with the rest of what you'll need for a night's stay without having to unpack the vehicle. If you're traveling I80, the Little Cabin is a great place to enjoy the sunset or just a peaceful night's sleep after enjoying the Snowy Range Scenic byway in the summer and a possible work around if the interstate is closed in the winter. If you're coming in from Denver/Ft Collins, Co area, Poudre Canyon is a beautiful drive and can take you thru Walden, Co or bring you in on Wyo 10. Feel free to reach out if you have questions on the routes, scenic stops, cut overs or short cuts.
There is Hiking, Fishing, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country skiing, Downhill skiing, (Snowy Range Ski Area) Hot Springs, Mountain Lakes, Plains Lakes, the Big Laramie River, all with in a 5-to-90-mile radius. There is public access, dogs allowed, to the Big Laramie River across the highway where you can fish or walk the public access path that runs alongside it.
Watching the wildlife is an experience of its own. From Chipmunks to deer, we see an assortment. If you enjoy birds and their sounds, you can pick a spot and enjoy. If you are a weather watcher, you may see 3-4 seasons in one day depending on the time of year. It's a great place to snuggle in, read a book, write a book, watch a downloaded movie or just sleep, but disconnect from the chaos and the alerts.

This is a working cattle ranch, owned by our family for 4 generations. It’s located on clear creek and a historical route used to trail cattle to the nearby railroad to load on the trains.

There are multiple spots to pick for pitching a tent. Decide if you’d like to camp on the banks of clear creek or on a top of a hill with a view.
If you’re pulling a camper or driving an RV there are 2 easily accessible locations with access to power. Locations are near Clear Creek so you can enjoy playing in the water or take a hike through a pasture.
There is a cafe and bar just 4 miles up the road. They also offer shower and laundry services.
We are a real working cattle ranch and there is local wildlife to view.

Book a peaceful and beautiful site on a private creek.
The Redwater Revival Campground joined Hipcamp and was open during the 2020 summer season. Herb met and accommodated many wonderful guests and had a blast doing it.
The red bluff in the background was a very strategic vantage point for early Indigenous Americans for hunting game that roamed the creek bottom.
The rest of this exciting story will have to be heard when you get here.
The Redwater Creek is full of Brown and Rainbow trout. They are sneaky little buggers that can actually hear your footsteps when you are fishing along the bank.
Please make sure that you stay with us for some very restful mesmerizing sleep along our part of the creek at the Redwater Revival Campground.

42 acres just a few miles north of Cody Wy, Rodeo Capital of the World, home to world renowned Buffalo Bill Center of the West and 55 miles from the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Tent or RV sites along the hayfield. Cows are gone in the summer, but there are Llama//alpacas, chickens, horses, dogs and a cat. Great star watching at night. Occasional Aurora Borealis and falling/shooting stars. The property backs up to a State section of 640 acres for short hikes.
I have one site #4 that has water and electric, no septic, There is a hydrant available for water. Please be reasonable, if you need to fill up a large amount please let me know. I now have a PortaPotty on site. I have a shed with electricity if you need to charge cell phones etc, This is my second summer with Hipcamp. I am flexible, please communicate if you have different requirements or needs. If you have a bigger group, reach out. I now have firewood available. Also Grass fed grass finished beef. Hamburger and steak!

Step out the door of this cozy little rustic, dry, one room mountainside cabin, to disconnect from Wi-Fi (none) and chaos to view sunsets, wide open, star filled, and moon lit night skies with the Milky Way and a few satellites as a bonus.
The Little Cabin offers a mountainside basecamp, getaway, vacation or a more scenic overnight travel stop to allow you and your fur baby to enjoy some Wyoming open space. A microwave, insta pot, mini fridge and propane grill allow for simple meals to be prepared for inside or outside dining or stop for a meal in any of the communities along your way here. Bring water, cabin is dry and snacks. I do keep some basics in the cabin so if you are traveling grab a meal, snacks and some water, the cabin is stocked with the rest of what you'll need for a night's stay without having to unpack the vehicle. If you're traveling I80, the Little Cabin is a great place to enjoy the sunset or just a peaceful night's sleep after enjoying the Snowy Range Scenic byway in the summer and a possible work around if the interstate is closed in the winter. If you're coming in from Denver/Ft Collins, Co area, Poudre Canyon is a beautiful drive and can take you thru Walden, Co or bring you in on Wyo 10. Feel free to reach out if you have questions on the routes, scenic stops, cut overs or short cuts.
There is Hiking, Fishing, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country skiing, Downhill skiing, (Snowy Range Ski Area) Hot Springs, Mountain Lakes, Plains Lakes, the Big Laramie River, all with in a 5-to-90-mile radius. There is public access, dogs allowed, to the Big Laramie River across the highway where you can fish or walk the public access path that runs alongside it.
Watching the wildlife is an experience of its own. From Chipmunks to deer, we see an assortment. If you enjoy birds and their sounds, you can pick a spot and enjoy. If you are a weather watcher, you may see 3-4 seasons in one day depending on the time of year. It's a great place to snuggle in, read a book, write a book, watch a downloaded movie or just sleep, but disconnect from the chaos and the alerts.

This is a working cattle ranch, owned by our family for 4 generations. It’s located on clear creek and a historical route used to trail cattle to the nearby railroad to load on the trains.

We are located near Leiter, Wy 82837 please search this and notice we are remotely located, not close to town.
There are multiple spots to pick for pitching a tent. Decide if you’d like to camp on the banks of clear creek or on a top of a hill with a view.
If you’re pulling a camper or driving an RV there are 2 easily accessible locations with access to power. Locations are near Clear Creek so you can enjoy playing in the water or take a hike through a pasture.
There is a cafe and bar just 4 miles up the road. They also offer shower and laundry services.
We are a real working cattle ranch and there is local wildlife to view.

Book a peaceful and beautiful site on a private creek.
The Redwater Revival Campground joined Hipcamp and was open during the 2020 summer season. Herb met and accommodated many wonderful guests and had a blast doing it.
The red bluff in the background was a very strategic vantage point for early Indigenous Americans for hunting game that roamed the creek bottom.
The rest of this exciting story will have to be heard when you get here.
The Redwater Creek is full of Brown and Rainbow trout. They are sneaky little buggers that can actually hear your footsteps when you are fishing along the bank.
Please make sure that you stay with us for some very restful mesmerizing sleep along our part of the creek at the Redwater Revival Campground.

Tent camping was so easy here! The space was a perfect length for our car and tent to fit with lots of space in between. There is a cute fire pit that we unfortunately did not get to use for time purposes and it is lit with lanterns if you happen to arrive past sundown! very spacious and perfect for our short stay:)

Linda's cabin was exactly what we were looking for - a place to get off our phones, relax and have fun with our pup. I spent most of the daylight hours outside wrapped in a blanket on the Adirondack chairs with my furry buddy at my feet.
The cabin is well equipped with a a heater, microwave, mini fridge and electric kettle. There is also a propane BBQ just outside the cabin which we didn't use this trip, but will keep in mind for future visits.
Our pup, Petra, had so much fun and I felt very comfortable having her off leash while exploring the property. She loved the treats Linda left for her each day!
We were very comfortable; it was the perfect getaway.

The cabin was a perfect mountain get away! Linda was extremely helpful, offering detailed directions, fresh cookies and fresh coffee in the morning. The property and view was breathtaking, pictures just don’t do it justice. The drive out is gorgeous and you get right into the mountains and backcountry. Amazing getaway for some peace and star gazing!

Alicia’s spot was perfect. We arrived pretty late as we were driving from across the state, and left in the middle of the night as well one night for some photo stuff. She didn’t mind either time, and the entire spot was so quiet and peaceful. We had a very lovely stay at Margaret's property, the area is gorgeous and we loved being close to the horses! Our Great Dane loved it too! We didn’t get a chance to meet the host but we did meet Suzanne who also lives on site and she is wonderful! She’s a guide in Yellowstone and works in town. We definitely hope to stay here again next time we pass through Cody and hopefully for more than one night!

We loved staying at the Little Cabin With a View. Perfect for two people and the dogs had a ton of room to roam. It is a fabulous spot for dogs off the leash. They'd run around and come back...run around some more and come back. Linda is very welcoming and knows the area. And she dropped coffee off outside the door of the cabin every morning!!
