Loved Kickback’s Angler Shack! Communication was great from Jolene. The property and cabin were so well kept. The raspberry bushes were a plus. We spent the majority of our time in the river and by the fire. The grill and amenities were a plus! We will definitely be back!

It’s peaceful, perfectly tucked away just the right distance from town, and has everything you could possibly need. Jolene was great and very hospitable! A welcome retreat near the cities. Beautiful property, lovely host, cozy cabin.
Really loved sitting on the deck in the matching rocking chairs. Enjoyed the amazing breeze when windows open. Comfortable sleeping options (including the futon). Very easy walk from the parking area to the cabin. Path is compacted and wide. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Very impressed! Also many gorgeous wildflowers and wildlife around.
Only thing to be mindful of is the compost toilet is taller because of its design, so those with mobility limitations should just be aware. (Sturdy step-stool is provided). That being said, it is a really nice compost toilet.
