Peaceful Getaway on Beautiful Green Lake 🌿
We loved our stay at this cozy cabin on Green Lake! The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The hosts thought of everything — from a welcoming coffee and snack basket to fire pits already prepped for us. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, walking the peaceful paths, and relaxing under the stars at night. The property is absolutely beautiful and well cared for. Absolutely loved staying here. The cabin is great and looking out and seeing the water and the dock is a great way to start the day. The dogs loved the water and exploring. Great fire pit with cooking great, made an excellent steak on it. Will definitely be back next year! Thank you for a great weekend!

Cabin and amenities were clean and as depicted. We were comfortable as a family of four at the cabin and campground. We enjoyed having the fire pit and chairs (we didn’t find matches but brought our own). The weather didn’t cooperate but the dock and kayaks were really neat and we wish we had stayed an extra day. We thought the grounds and chapel were great and we anticipate coming back again :)

We had an amazing time with the dogs. Lake was a short walk down the road. Not far. Very secluded, just what we needed for our holliday weekend. The bed was very soft, and anything we needed was there at camp. We definitely over packed. Would recommend to anyone.

2 nights at Bluegill Haven
This was my second trip to Bluegill Pond and I will go back again. The fishing was great, and the accommodations were excellent. The bird watching was excellent too. I enjoy Roy’s little cabin set up. It is super convenient. Roy is an excellent host

Great spot, site owner has everything you need, worms, fire wood, porta potty, little cabin, and Hugh bluegill in pond that are a blast to fight with.
Well maintained, all functional amenities if you use them.
Five star rating all around.
May not be big enough for like a 30 ft rv unless you got some good backing up skills.
But little 16-20ft rvs should fit in just fine.
I had a little 8 ft gear trailer and I had tons of room.

Second time staying at Blue Gill heaven. Again Roy was great host! Fishing was great! Row boat is awesome! Saw turtles, lots of birds, peace and quiet!! Wonderful place for fishing and nature enthusiasts!

This place is a hidden gem! Roy provided a boat and firewood, which is super convenient. Roy was really friendly and showed me around the property. The only downside was the mosquitoes and bugs, but that’s just the price you pay for a spot on water. So don’t forget to bring bug spray, though! Overall, I can’t complain it’s a beautiful property and a great stay.

If you love nature, peace and quiet, and good fishing... This is the place to go. Stayed from 7/3 thru the 7/7. Caught plenty of nice size bass, and bluegill, saw turtles muskrats, heard owls and plenty of birds! The little cabin, was great, there was 2 of us , had electricity and a fan, surprisingly the mosiqutoes weren't bad at all, but you do what to bring spray, Roy the host very nice, and the bundle of wood, is huge! Didn't even use all it during our stay!!

Roy’s little cabin setup was perfect because I didn’t have time to haul out all my tent gear. The pond has great bird and animal watching, plus you get it all to yourself. Everything was clean and well-kept. The electricity was an excellent surprise and my dogs loved the experience too. I will definitely be back to do some fishing. I saw many bass and bluegill right from the dock. Roy is an excellent host and I highly recommend this Hipcamp.

We had a little less than a day at Pond Cabin, and it was wonderful. Roy is a very friendly host that will show you around upon arrival, he had just purchased a fishing boat that's fun to use with the connecting ponds. Plenty of fish, too. The cabin is small but surprisingly fits 3 people comfortably. He provides some wood and kindling which is nice.
Overall had a great time, make sure to bring bug spray because the mosquitoes are bad around nighttime.

Roy seemed very genuine and respectful. The spot was very affordable, had electricity, some great fishing, and pretty land. Did not expect to have a row boat available, either, but that made the trip even better. My friends and I had a good time, and I would recommend this place to others. Hopefully I can come back with friends or family again sometime soon.

5 nights at Bluegill Haven
If you're looking for a secluded place to camp where you can fish and enjoy the scenery this is a must see! Roy's property is beautiful, and he provides a cabin with a table that can be made into a bed as well as a futon. It was nice to not have to worry about setting up and taking down the tent. The ponds are well stocked with plenty of fish. It was cloudy when we were there, but it would be the perfect place for stargazing. Roy was very accommodating and friendly. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed!
