Camp Shin-Go-Beek is a youth summer camp located in central Wisconsin. When we're not running summer camp, we open the property up to Hipcampers. We have multiple large campsites for tent camping. The property is located on 2 quiet lakes, with great opportunities for swimming, fishing, and boating. The swimming area has a great beach and a diving raft (depending on the season). We also have a large dining hall for indoor activities, and several outdoor program areas. We are just south of the Chain-o-lakes and Waupaca, so there's plenty to do a short drive away.

One of the first farms in the area, dating back to 1860’s. Grainery is believed to be the oldest building, followed by the house. The original house was a log cabin and added onto making it into 2 story house today. The current Barn was built in the early 1900’s. The property was once dairy farm, and plant nursery. This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. What a cozy, snowy retreat at the G Farm. I was looking for picturesque solitude and I got it!
The tiny house was perfect for just me and my watercolor paints. The space heater kept me plenty warm even though it seems that we are actually having a proper winter this year in Wisconsin. Comfy, cozy, and very private.

I would definitely stay up there again. Lots of privacy and the train running not far by peaceful in its own right. I heard coyotes in the distance and a screech owl pretty close. It is also a great place to look at the stars.

Weekend Trip to The G Farm
I had a great time at their farm. The cabin is perfect for one or two campers and there’s plenty of room for another tent or two as well. There’s a good size fire pit and a couple different docks to enjoy the view of the pond. There’s also canoes and a paddle boat for use with life jackets available as well. They have everything you need available, and a great farm store for any food you might have forgotten to pack. They encourage you to roam around the property and there’s a lot of great stuff to see. I think it’s really great that they were able to set this piece of their property aside to share with anyone trying to get away for some peace and relaxation. They’re also doing some really great restorative work on the land that’s interesting to hear about. I loved my weekend here and I’ll definitely be back again!

The site I had was great to park my teardrop camper. Peaceful solitude. There was a toilet room but I had my own. It looked clean and organized.
A little noisy at peak times as it is on a corner of a well used hwy H. Other than that I heard owls talking to each other. Very cool. Recommend.

Fun spot, cute little tiny house with bunk beds! If you're planning to bring a pop up you can just barely pull in and turn around. Pulled my Escapade summit square drop trailer in but it was a TIGHT fit. If you're trailer is wider than 90" like mine you may not get it pulled in. The dogs are nice and the chicken coop is close so you'll hear the roosters in the AM. The kids loved it!

It’s our 3rd year at this camp but our first at Sauk Campsite! Everything was as perfect as all previous years. We love the extra space Sauk Camp had to offer. The beach is a little further than at lower bluff but still a walking distance. Site was clean and had everything we needed! This is a great spot for family fun and for pets! Will definitely be booking for next year!
