A private sanctuary with 30 acres located just north of Waupaca's Chain O' Lakes with groomed hiking and/or biking trails. Terrain is varied with ponds, hills, and valleys. Shower, potable water, and rec room available. PLEASE NOTE with heavy rain all wheel drive (AWD) is needed to park next to your site. If you don't have AWD, there's parking by the rec room. We can transport you to your site if there are issues. Firewood is available for purchase in addition to a 24 x 32 rec room/storm shelter. Kayaks and SUPs available to rent too! The rec room offers a fun room full of games (ping pong, darts, and other fun games) and a living room area with multiple TVs. We have a kitchen area with a refrigerator (no water) with snacks, pizza, and beverages available. Head into town for shopping, coffee, and baked treats. Or head to the Chain for crystal clear water, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, skiing, or dining at one of Waupaca's signature restaurants. Clear Water Camping has a rich history. This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. One of the first farms in the area, dating back to 1860’s. Grainery is believed to be the oldest building, followed by the house. The original house was a log cabin and added onto making it into 2 story house today. The current Barn was built in the early 1900’s. The property was once dairy farm, and plant nursery. What a cozy, snowy retreat at the G Farm. I was looking for picturesque solitude and I got it! The tiny house was perfect for just me and my watercolor paints. The space heater kept me plenty warm even though it seems that we are actually having a proper winter this year in Wisconsin. Comfy, cozy, and very private.

Campfire area and table will be available. Firewood behind pole building.

I would definitely stay up there again. Lots of privacy and the train running not far by peaceful in its own right. I heard coyotes in the distance and a screech owl pretty close. It is also a great place to look at the stars.

I had a great time at their farm. The cabin is perfect for one or two campers and there’s plenty of room for another tent or two as well. There’s a good size fire pit and a couple different docks to enjoy the view of the pond. There’s also canoes and a paddle boat for use with life jackets available as well. They have everything you need available, and a great farm store for any food you might have forgotten to pack. They encourage you to roam around the property and there’s a lot of great stuff to see. I think it’s really great that they were able to set this piece of their property aside to share with anyone trying to get away for some peace and relaxation. They’re also doing some really great restorative work on the land that’s interesting to hear about. I loved my weekend here and I’ll definitely be back again!

My group LOVED this campground! Adam and Jackie are amazing. A couple of our group members were joking that they were in love with them lol. It's the perfect mix of nature with some modern comforts. The port a potties are so clean and nice! Each site has its own basically. The rec room was a welcome reprieve when it rained for us! We will definitely be coming back. The sites are well spaced, clean, well maintained, everything you'd want! If you haven't been here yet, you need to go!

The site I had was great to park my teardrop camper. Peaceful solitude. There was a toilet room but I had my own. It looked clean and organized. A little noisy at peak times as it is on a corner of a well used hwy H. Other than that I heard owls talking to each other. Very cool. Recommend.

Weekend Trip to Clear Water Camp

Third time staying at clear water campsite #7. This place has only gotten better every year we have returned. The hosts Adam and Jackie are so friendly. They have firewood at the campground and bring it up to your site. We love the amenities at this camp, from the warm showers to the common area. The hosts have suggestions for activities and kayaks for rental. Its all so appreciated and makes an already great spot into something amazing. Site #7 is our favorite at Clear Water camp. Its private and away from the other campsites. Only about a 5 minute walk to the common area/ shower. The site has its own private port o potty that was very clean. There are dozens of spots at camp 7 to pitch tents and spread your group out. Lots of shaded flat spots for tents, plenty of room to park cars and a great fire ring. The site has gotten bigger every year we return which is fantastic. I Would absolutely recommend this campsite at this awesome campground. We cant wait to return.

One of the best! The hosts are extremely thoughtful and the property is immaculately well kept. Cleanest Porta potties I’ve ever seen and all the shared areas were very nice. It’s like they’ve thought of everything to make your camping experience the very best! We loved site seven… so secluded and quiet. And their recommendations for places to go were right on target. Loved the area. We will definitely be back.

Fun spot, cute little tiny house with bunk beds! If you're planning to bring a pop up you can just barely pull in and turn around. Pulled my Escapade summit square drop trailer in but it was a TIGHT fit. If you're trailer is wider than 90" like mine you may not get it pulled in. The dogs are nice and the chicken coop is close so you'll hear the roosters in the AM. The kids loved it!

This is an intimate little place, really quite lovely in the farm yard. More appropriate for tents (we had a teardrop that was difficult to situate). Never met the hosts - I think they were away, we didn't see lights in the house or any activity. Electric cord provided was not long enough to reach site, even with my own extension. A nice place to overnight.
