We were really happy to get to sleep test a Road Toad, and Cary’s tour of the Camp Inns and the factory was awesome. Campsite and fire rings great, even pre-raked the area for us so there weren’t leaves near fire. Loved having a hot shower available before returning to spaces full of other humans.
On our walk at the Wildlife Refuge, we saw trumpeter swans and sandhill cranes 🙂
There is some highway noise and there are some lights , for those who are sensitive to either, but we still had lots of stars on our first night!

Quiet site with firewood and access to a bathroom and a great shower. Instructions were clear and I appreciated the welcome. Had access to wifi close to the building where the bathroom was. Only downside was I had very spotty cell service at my site, but that was nothing to do with the site itself.

Great location, highly recommend! We got in late, but the place was easy to find and locate. The site was spacious, clean, and quiet! The amenities were great to have available. Athough we didnt start a fire, having that option/available wood was a nice touch!
There were mosquitos this time of the year, so be prepared! Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

Weekend Trip to Camp-Inn Teardrop factory camping
This was a gorgeous space for camping. There are only 2 sites on the property and very easy to pull in/pull out. The bathroom/shower was very clean.
This site would be wonderful for a longer stay but we had a short and sweet visit.
Definitely have your bug spray ready as soon as you arrive so you can enjoy your stay, mosquito free!
There was a large wildlife preserve very close to the campground that would be worth visiting.
The host was great with communication.
Overall, this was a wonderful campsite and we wished we had more time to enjoy it!

This was our second time camping at Wedges Creek. We loved the first experience so much we came back with more people.
We had campsites and cabins rented. Cabins 2, 3, 4 and 5. All we absolutely adorable. Clean and cozy!
The campsites were 7 and 8. We enjoyed beautiful bonfires at night with a bonus of watching the wildlife walk along the fields.
Take advantage of the woodfired Pizza! Amazing! Live music at night made for a fun night of dancing.
Outdoor venue on nice days along with an indoor venue in case of weather.
Jeff, the host, goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay.
Make sure you ask him for the story of Frog Town and take the tour if you can!
Highly recommend!

Stayed for one night on a trip across the country. Sites are very cozy, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. Also not far from the interstate. I didn't make a fire but the site is stocked with tons of firewood.
I had issues getting consistent mobile service on the T-Mobile network. Nothing the host can do about that, of course. Not an issue for me personally, but something to be aware of if that matters to you. There is a WiFi network but the signal was too weak for me to connect at the site. Probably usable in or near the office, useful in case of emergencies.

Jeff’s vision for his land and the way he operates is incredibly sustainable and inspiring. The grounds were impeccable and there’s repurposed art around every corner. The cabin was way above my expectations with comfortable linens and an amazing mattress. Jeff himself is incredibly personable, earth conscious and most importantly, he is kind. This is going to be my new go to for a weekend away. I can’t wait to go back!

Cary’s site was very well maintained and he was super friendly. He greeted us right away and let us know where everything was. The FREE fire wood was a super huge plus. We got a free tour of the factory and the bathroom was very convenient. Cary is so kind and quick to answer. He let us check in early and check out late. Truly a 10/10 host.

If you’re looking for an out in the woods, peaceful, quiet campsite this would not be the one for you but if you’re just needing a place to stay for the night while you explore the surrounding areas, the state parks, or the dells it is absolutely perfect for you.
There is the teardrop camper factory on site within viewing distance of the campsites that is open from 9-5 I believe and an additional different factory across the street that works all night and has a bell that rings every few hours all night. There is a train track close by so you will hear the train horn occasionally throughout the night and a main road nearby so definitely not a “peaceful, quiet night in the woods” but the campsite itself was again very well maintained and stocked with plenty of fire wood and plenty of stateparks to explore nearby.
We did have issues with ticks as it is that time of year. We let Cary know and he said he would follow up with it the next time he was out doing property work so hopefully not an issue moving forward. We ended up picking about 20 ticks off our dog after a one night stay

Quiet, private little campsite nestled in the woods next to the Teardrop Trailers factory. Our tent was 10’x14’ and we had plenty of space to set it up and put up a dog fence too. Close to the Sandhill Wildlife area (beautiful, huge park, pet friendly, off leash even!), and other nature trails. We loved how secluded the site was. There was plenty of space. The bathroom was also very private and clean. Cary, the host, is responsive, professional, accommodating, and friendly. There was snow on the ground when we got there, and it melted over the two days we stayed, but the ground absorbed it well. Not too muddy due to the pine trees around. Sorry to have missed the showroom tour but if you go, be sure to check it out!
