You'll be camping on our Stanley lake sugarbush property. Lakefront sites have power and water - are located in a grassy clearing on the shores of Stanley Lake. ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES ON PROPERTY!!
Primitive sites are amongst the maple trees of our sugarbush operation, within walking distance of the lake. These sites do not yet have water or electricity, but water is available from spigots at the lake clearing.
Stanley lake is just shy of 400 acres, known for walleye and bass. It is an all sports lake with no limited wake hours. Feel free to roam our woods - you will notice the blue maple lines come to an end at our east and west property lines, as well as a no trespassing sign on the lake clearing to the west line. Deer here are plentiful, and you can often get them to eat from your hand, provided you have apples. Iron county has a tremendous ORV/snowmobile trail system. You can drive your machine right from our property to the trails. There are two golf courses in the area, as well as a vast bicycle trail system. Ski Brule ski hills and sporting clay operation are a few miles from the property. Countless acres of public land for recreation!

Silver Maple tent site has abundant room including two picnic tables. Surroundings offered a flat tent space, lovely tall trees to hear the wind’s rustle leaves and look up at the canopy above with mesh ceiling. Near a pit outhouse, bonus. Just a brief gravel road to beautiful wood showers and more amenities like an outdoor sink with faucet, Starlink internet and dock at lakeside for stargazing or other fun. Welcoming hosts, just look for gravel road turn by handful mailboxes before/after Wicklund (don’t turn there). You’ll know the entry point from seeing blue property lines. Look forward to a return trip!!

Matt takes excellent care of the property. His pride is obvious. He shares stories about the history of the resort. Everything is CLEAN! Each site has its own trash and recycling bins, so no hauling. I don't need to explain how wonderful it is to have our water hookup and sewer hookups right on site. We also had great conversations with him. I'd highly recommend!

One of the most relaxing and comfortable campgrounds I’ve been to. Matt was a great host, he made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Walking to the private lake through the forest was peaceful and quiet, only hearing the sounds of nature. I would stay again.

We loved this campground! We were in space 20 which is a corner lot and we were so comfortable here. It was quiet, peaceful, and felt private. Loved the walking trails and the kayaking! I was impressed with a site this price having electric, water, and sewer. There was plenty of area around the camper, for good privacy. Jay was a great help in guiding us to the campground, and helped me guide the trailer back in the site while it was raining.

We enjoyed our time in Boulder Junction mostly biking. We reserved a paved site with full hook ups. Our host ever left a 30 amp adapter for us. The campground was quiet and peaceful. Gooches bar and grill was just a few minutes away with good food. Reasonable rates too!

We booked this spot for our very first HipCamp and maiden RV outing, and it became the place where I asked my partner to marry me; it’s safe to say it was unforgettable!
The campground is immaculately clean, well-kept, and blissfully quiet. Beautiful, well-marked trails begin right on the property, and a short walk led us to a secluded lake where we spent an entire afternoon without seeing another soul, pure serenity.
Matt is an absolute class act. Knowing we were brand-new to RV life, he cheerfully offered to guide us while backing in our rig and checked in just enough to be sure we had everything we needed. His pride of ownership shows in every detail around camp; he and his father have built something truly special here.
We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a quiet, well-run campground with a genuine host and gorgeous scenery, this is the place.
