Weekend Trip to Captain Morgan's Pirate Ship

Yeng was great- solid communication before and after our stay. While the weather was rought, our family enjoyed the novelty of glamping on the 'ship'. Our accomodations were warm and cozy despite night temps in the 30's, and we loved playing cards and hanging out in the small galley. It was also a plus to have the Dells nearby for activites during a rainy day.

3 nights at Fall Hall Glen

5 Families, 10 adults and 11 children had a wonderful stay at these cabins despite the oppressive weather. The creek was a wonderful place to spend the day, and we paid for the kitchen building which was our place to congregate in the evenings out when the weather wasn’t cooperating. The beds were serviceable, and everyone that needed one had a fan at night to keep cool. Falling asleep to the sounds of the rivers rapids at night was wonderful. The Patrick was great and very attentive. Our group was already talking about planning next year by the time we left.

Highly recommend this Hipcamp, it's exactly like the photos portray – simple and comfortable. The land and scenery are really something special. Very close to Driftless Music Gardens, about 7 minute drive. On a hot August weekend, it was so nice to have access to AC/fans (and comfy beds!), making it a great alternative to tent camping at the festival. We will definitely stay again, thank you Beth and Pat!

The rustic cabin was just what we needed. Quiet. Peaceful. The bed was comfy. Great place for our dog to run. It’s close to Wildcat Mountain State Park and the Kickapoo Valley Reserve. The pirate ship was so fun for the kids! They found the costumes and props and spent hours in dramatic play. Grown ups got a chance to kick back and enjoy the show. The two cabins have heaters and we were very comfortable overnight.

This camp is great! Jess who worked for the camp ground was very friendly and welcoming. Nature’s Touch has its own lil convience store with snacks, drinks, and essentials for fire starting. I highly recommend buying the fire color changing pinecones. This camp site is close to downtown WI Dells, Ishnala Supper Club, the Ho-Chunk Casino and more. I would 100% recommend this site and I can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay! Such a cool property! We were hoping for better weather but the pirate ship was equipped with a heater which kept us plenty warm. Cool trails to walk, and lots of imaginative play with our boys! We got to be pirates for the weekend. Very clean bathrooms! Will need your own bedding or sleeping bags. Kitchen was equipped with a microwave, fridge and essential dishes. The bunks and main room are two separate rooms and spaces. We just moved the bunk mattresses to the floor in the main space to keep us in one space. Definitely stay here!

This property was a perfect escape from the city for a few days! I stayed in one of the cabins and it was maybe 20 feet away from clean running water. The cabin itself was comfortable, heated and had electricity. This is a great central hub to everything in the area from hiking, fishing, or just checking out what's around. The surrounding towns each have their own unique personalities and are worth exploring. Beth and Pat are very friendly and accommodating. They have a great piece of land worth staying on. I will definitely stay again!
