The downside to this lovely parcel is it's on the opposite side of the train tracks, so there will be occasional noise. Maybe it adds to the uniqueness? Just keep that in mind as once in a blue moon, the train does stop so you may be stuck for a few minutes. Oh & those power lines sometimes make a crackling noise. Sometimes we notice it & other times we don't. Now that we got that out of the way, the pros are it's a great place to explore. There are a ton of nearby hikes. We are a small non-profit farm offering fresh produce and nature based experiences. We are open to the public Spring-Fall for Farm Explorations. Visitors have a chance to explore the farm and gardens with a self guided walking tour and scavenger hunt, and attend our seasonal events and workshops. Book private farm tour experiences such as hayrides, and animal interactions, or simply wander the farm at your leisure. We have some free ranging chickens, and cats, so for the safety of our farm animals and pets, any visiting pets must remain in the parking area and may not free roam. We are in the middle of the Coulee Corridor with desert hiking, the Columbia River, and several lakes nearby. We are 5 miles from Soap Lake, where you can enjoy the healing waters and dine at Cloudview Kitchen. There are also amazing small shops and restaurants to enjoy in Ephrata just a couple miles away.

Welcome to the Derby Canyon Retreat! Located just 14 miles from Leavenworth, this 6 acre private paradise is entrenched in nature. Our well is powered by solar panels and batteries. Booking this hipcamp is supporting sustainable living and development! :D If you like nature, there are many features for you. From hiking to biking, off road access, hunting, or wildlife viewing, Derby Canyon offers it all. Enjoy a day in Leavenworth, the Wenatchee River, mountain bike trail, or a hike in the mountains. Though most of the area does not receive cell phone service (I have Verizon) we do get service at this site. Located about 5 miles off the county road (High ground clearance and 4x4 vehicles recommended for this forest service road leading to the campsite), cell service will fall off for the first 4 miles, however most people will have service at the site itself. Please PRINT or DOWNLOAD the directions I will email you for OFFLINE use! For now we are offering this site as a private escape campsite to enjoy the depths of nature in a serene setting. Wood fires are not allowed but we do have a propane firepit available for use free of charge - bring your own propane!

Great location with stunning views. It's definitely up there, and the road initially feels a little sketchy, but don't let that scare you. I was easily able to tow a 30ft trailer up no problem, and Chris came right out to assist and asked if I needed anything! Being so high, be prepared for wind, but if you get a night with no wind, the sunset views are amazing! I would definitely stay at these sites again!

Awesome spot! Really quiet and spacious. We had a minor issue when we arrived but Mariah responded to my message and had it taken care of promptly. We brought our own toilet set-up and my friend was kindly informed by staff that the tasting room bathroom isn’t encouraged for campers. There is an outhouse nearby though. Willow Point is a great place to go for a swim in Lake Chelan and is a 9 min drive from the site.

The sites are ready-to-go with a fire pit, table, garbage, and benches/chairs, so it is easy to roll in with your tent and enjoy the space immediately. Brynn is always very receptive and helpful, and we can't wait to come back again!

Very beautiful view from the site, quiet away from roads. Sunrises and sunsets very peaceful. Mariah responsive re finding the spot in the orchards when we arrived. We had no trouble with wind at night as others have mentioned. No mosquitoes but flies were significant at times making us glad to have a screen. Overall a very nice spot and we will surely come back to visit again.

1 night at Bianchi Vineyards RV Site

We enjoyed five nights at Kim‘s, site B. Our camper faced towards the river and the open valley with a lovely view. We sat outside most evenings after the temperature had dropped and enjoyed a complete quiet, tranquil, starlight setting. Kim has a lovely dog named North who visited our site and was a gentle welcoming soul. We are dog people and loved his visits. I will note that Kim was very responsive in checking to make sure that it was OK if North visited our site. Our rig and approach to the site: 26’ bumper-pull travel trailer pulled by a 3/4 ton truck. We went just past the designated pad and backed into the site, super easy. Pros: Quiet, scenic, safe, very communicative host, accessible, great location. Cons: None, it’s a lovely place to enjoy.
