Historically, Deep Creek Canyon was a winter encampment for the Spokane Indians, whose ancestral lands surround us. We feel the healing spirit of the land, in partnership and stewardship. We gather community for Solstice & Equinox celebrations, bringing people together to honor the changing seasons. Our original house was one of the first in the canyon, in the early 1940's.

We raise predominantly Border Leicester sheep on 40-acres of grass pasture using organic, sustainable methods. On our farm we also raise chickens and geese for eggs and meat. Vegetables crops are for ourselves aside from large porcelain garlic bulbs for seed. Sustainability is important to us. The farm is completely solar powered. Water comes from our well and heating is from wood sourced locally.
