The beds were comfortable and the camp is well stocked. The gorgeous view from the open air tent along with the gently breeze and the sound of the creek below was like so soothing. I wish I could've stayed longer! Bonus points for the sweet cats that live there.

Weekend Trip to Seven Stars Alpaca Ranch LLC

The site we stayed at was fabulous. It had a great view of the farm and the meadows yet it also had a nice view of the trees /woods that surrounded the area. There was a lot of activity yet it was also peaceful and serene. The goats and al pacas were fun to watch from our camp spot. Nice walks to go on. It is a dry camping but they have potable water if you need it (we did not as we brought our own) and they have porta potties as well. There's a lot to do here or just relax and rejuvenate. We had a great time and we will be back

Such a nice little treasure! I wish the fruit trees had been in season, but we came in the springtime. We had our camper van and a tent. It was a great spot to set up camp. The kids enjoyed the baby pigs, chickens and goats! We felt safe and enjoyed ourselves. We will stay again if we ever head this way!

We loved the site! It was clean, level, open but private. We had the place to ourself yet didn’t think camp neighbors would have intruded. The flush toilet was immaculate! Camper’s Den we would visit again!

This location felt private and we enjoyed our time. The well was ice cold and was very accommodating to keep the kids and pup cool. We appreciate the open space to accommodate activities. We recommend a canopy or some form of sun protections aside from sunscreen and tick repellant if in season.

This is a great spot to camp that is central to everything. We were greeted by Matt and Deb and they helped us get situated. They are great hosts. Site was level and so clean. We will definitely visit them again.

The campsite was very nice and the view of the lake was amazing. It was enjoyable to wake up to the sound of the birds singing and the insects making their noises. The campground is also next to the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes which is a very nice trail to ride the bike on. It's also down the road from the town of Harrison which is nice for eating and beers. The campground was clean and well kept and the toilet was also. I enjoyed my stay here and do recommend if you are in the area.

This Hipcamp appears to be a several steps above the others we looked at with the individual sites well situated and established. Matt and Deb were great. Helped us get parked, checked on our needs. Learn more about this land:4 acre camp site on pasture land bordered by forest on a working farm. You can come participate in some farm life, or enjoy your space. We are a small 4 generation goat, cow and sheep dairy, we also have chickens, ducks, sometimes pigs, turkeys, quail, turkeys, horses, mules, and rabbits. Circling Raven Golf course, Heyburn Park, Coeur D Alene Casino Lake Coeur D Alene along with several boat launches and biking or hiking trails are less than 10 miles from the camp site. Easy 30 mile drive to Coeur D Alene or Spokane, or you can take a nice drive to St Maries, the St Joe, Moscow for one of the best Farmers markets. The property has a pond close and it brings with it, wildlife for a early morning drink.Local farmer market is on Thursdays a few miles away. This area is filled with historical sites and a great area to explore. We are pet friendly, but pets must be kept on a leash or fence.

Riverfront Base Camp

Park your RV, overland rig, pitch a tent, or sleep under the stars next to the Coeur D’ Alene River. Be advised this is directly next to State Highway 3. If you are a light sleeper, or road noise bothers you, this is not the campsite for you. At the camp, you can launch your kayaks at the river to go for an adventure down through the Chain Lakes, all eight are accessible by the river adjacent to where you will sleep. The bird and wildlife watching in this area is world class. Ospreys, hawks, turkeys and other animals commonly hang out in these parts. You can go for a swim at one of the sandbars, take your dirt bikes or side by sides down Killarney Lake Road to access an extensive network of trails and dirt roads into remote wilderness. There is no cell service, no water or electrical hookups, or toilet. As beautiful as it is, your experience will not be “glamping” unless you come with all the comforts you personally desire. You can hunt on the forest service land by 4th of July Pass, fish on the river, or on the Chain Lakes (with the proper permits, of course). There is a access into the water from camp but it is quite steep. For easy access to the water, use the docks or boat launch at Killarney Lake or Bull Run. Pets and kids are allowed at your own risk. Be advised the highway and river are hazardous for off-leash animals and rambunctious toddlers. Please send a message if you have any questions. I am happy to help.

I'm a 3rd generation farmer, working the same land as my father and grandfather. Hidden Acres Orchards is a 60 acre, u-pick fruit, vegetable, and flower farm. Camp within the luscious fruit tree rows, in the middle of a vibrant pumpkin patch or even in the petting zoo! Animals welcome! IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW: We are a real working farm, not like a romanticized IG version of a farm. There are tractors running, sprayers making applications, farm animals loudly enjoying life, day customers picking fruit, and farmers about early in the morning. With that being said, we understand that experience may not be to everyone's liking. Be aware that if you do decide to camp here be ready for a real farm adventure! Another little tidbit: to grow food, we try to maximize the amount of sun it receives- SHADE IS VERY LIMITED. ALL CAMPSITES ARE U-PICK, there are no designated spots. Let your creativity shine and choose as dope a spot as you like! If you're scared of driving off a paved road or frightened by the natural world we suggest glamping at another lovely Green Bluff location. Starting SEPTEMBER 23RD until OCTOBER 31ST every weekday we host hundreds of school kids on the farm. They start arriving around 9:00 am. If the sound of children's laughter drives you absolutely insane, you might think twice about booking a stay with us in the fall. Winter camping is available, please note we typically receive a lot of snow. Early spring is the extreme mud season, please be cautious of our soft ground and stick to the roads. July-August can get very dry some years, which means the grass goes dormant and dust starts to fly. MAX STAY IS 14 DAYS. No Side by Sides (UTV's), dirt bikes, or ATV's allowed to be rallied on the property. We can suggest close spots to rally. Under the Cedars

There are mountains, wetlands, meadows and forest land right in our back yard where we often see wildlife that call our area home. Elk, deer, turkeys, geese, ducks. rabbits, squirrels and the occasional cougar or bear. At any time, one critter or another will stroll through and check out our guests. We don't have a view of the river but it's nearby and our meadows and mountains offer a peaceful scene all its own. Camp surrounded by Old Growth Cedars and towering Grand Fir, stargaze by night, enjoy a campfire, smores and time with your family, Our peace includes little to no cellular service and don't offer internet or satellite tv. Feels like we're in the country but we live on a paved county road and only 4 miles from the city of Priest River. Bring your boat for a trip on the Pend Oreille River to Lake Pend Oreille. Launching is a short distance away at the Mud Hole, Priest River City Beach or Riley Creek Campground. Try your hand at fishing for bass, kokanee, perch, northern pike, and trout in the river or on the lake. Wake up in a peaceful woodsy setting where elk, deer, the occasional moose and turkeys roam the property and are often seen in the meadow. Load up your ATV, side by side or motorcycle and head for Priest Lake right from here. It’s a 21 mile (40 minute ride) to Coolin, ID. Enjoy the back county and take some of the IDL roads along the way to explore scenic drainages and in July/August pick some luscious huckleberries (the state fruit of Idaho) for a pancake or milkshake treat. In the fall, a nice central location for hunting camp. Want to go skiing or enjoy the summer lift ride? Head up to Schweitzer Mountain, about an hour drive away (38 miles/65 mins). The city of Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille (Idaho's largest lake) are a half hour away (26 miles/33 mins) and Silverwood Theme Park in Athol, ID less than an hour away (36 miles/52 min).

This is a very private and quiet place, more of a sanctuary and not a party place. The only thing you hear is nature, a breeze through the pine trees, the birds, and the creek. This property was and is an organic permaculture farm in the forest. There are two orchards and an organic garden. The water is from a spring. The La Luna cabin is off-grid with an option to plugin if needed. Hot Showers at my cabins are private and outdoors. There's nothing more wonderful than a hot spring-fed shower. The toilets are composting. (No water is wasted here)! Two of the cabins were built from the trees on the property by the first family that lived here in the earlier 1900s. The Birds Nest cabin was originally a tool shed that needed a LOT of Love to be in the condition that it is today. It does have power, running water and wi-fi. There is the option to take an acrylic painting class, banjo, guitar or fiddle lessons, paddleboard lessons, and have a real old-timey campfire with a glass of wine or two with live music performed by our famous Fiddlin Red on the fiddle, banjo, and guitar. Your experience here may change your life forever! We haven't added all the experiential options yet, so if there is something you are interested in please inquire. Every year we make it more and more magical and interesting. It's four miles up a county-maintained dirt road and one mile to a non-motorized lake. I can't see my neighbors, but they are awesome artists and musicians and some of them are off the grid! If you're bringing a pet, they must be on a leash and be quiet pets. If you are bringing a child they also need to be quiet and respectful. I want to keep my neighbors and my other guests happy with a peaceful atmosphere. Thank you!
