Listen closely, and you will hear the sounds of the river below. The lot is equipped with power and water hookups! Please be aware the water hookup is near the main gate entrance and the power is about 40 feet apart, so you may need a long hose (see pic). Enjoy the view from the large deck, firepit, or picnic table overlooking the river, valley, and mountains. This lot is truly a little slice of heaven! Within a few minutes, find yourself at Rocky Brook falls (see pics) for a spectacular view and even a swim if you so please! Pleasant Harbor Marina (also shown in pics) also within 10 minutes! You will also find many hiking trails and parks nearby! There is weak cell service on the lot, so you may or may not be able to connect. I get 1-2 bars with Sprint. While this property is not very far off the Dosewallips road (35 mph), it is generally very quiet and peaceful. You may hear cars and motorcycles from time to time, but very faintly. The lot is at about 350 ft. elevation, so you may get noise traveling up the valley from the residential community below (to which I belong), such as dogs, people using chainsaws, etc. There is hunting allowed in the national forest, so you could potentially hear guns in the distance during the day, but that is rare. There are a few close neighbors, so please be respectful and quiet, especially in the evening. Please bring your own firewood when campfires are allowed and please do not forage for firewood on or around the property. Lastly, while the sightings have been few and rare, the neighbors have seen bears, cougars, coyotes, and bobcats near their homes and this property. So keep an eye on your children and pets, especially if off-leash (your pet of course!) The property also slopes a bit where the deck starts, so again, keep a close eye on the kiddos. You have a very good chance of seeing the local Roosevelt Elk that travel in huge herds around Brinnon (See pics). They sometimes lay down and hang out on the grass on the property! Make sure your pets have their flea and tick updates!

This camp site is very private and peaceful! We will be open from May 1st through September, 2026. We have a 3 night maximum stay per booking. The site can accommodate up to two RVs or 3-4 tents depending on the distance apart. We allow up to 6 people per booking. The firepit and the Snoqualmie River are about 150' away from your tent or RV. We have a porta-potti at the camp site and also two picnic tables. Pets are welcome at our HipCamp, but we do require that you clean up after them. Near North Bend there are several hiking/biking trails including the trail up Mt. Si., Si View Park, and the Rattlesnake Ridge trail system. For shoppers, we have shops in town and the Factory Outlet Mall. For dining, there are several restaurants in North Bend. This land has passed through many families but was first "managed" by Salish Indians who burned the prairie and harvested native plants for food, medicine, clothing, charms and more for 10,000 years. When European settlers arrived in the 1850s, burning the prairie all but ceased and that, along with the introduction of many new exotic species of animals, crop plants and weeds, began the degradation of the landscape. Over time our site was used to graze sheep and then raise pheasants (from 1944-1999). It was slated for housing development but several citizens rose up and prevented that from happening. Now the Pacific Rim Institute, a private nonprofit organization is the steward of this precious jewel of central Whidbey and the Pacific Northwest. We have a five-acre remnant prairie with over 80 species of native plants - critical to the restoration of degraded lands throughout the Salish Sea region. We have over two miles of walking trails for you. They traverse our prairie, savannas and forests. The land is full of color when the native wildflowers bloom from early spring through early autumn. Weekend Trip to Pacific Rim Institute

Great spot on the middle of the island. Quiet and peaceful. No power but clean and dry. Fire pit offered a great spot for an evening campfire. Very clean, cots for sleeping. Bring headlamps. Running water, shower and toilet clean and about 60 - 80 yds from the cabin. Great host and spot!

We had a lovely Fall stay this weekend in our little camper. We loved the sounds of the coyote calls through the night. They were quite talkative but it was fun to hear the wildlife around us! My dog really enjoyed having the freedom and space to run and play. The quaint town of Duvall is super close so we enjoyed a beautiful brunch before packing up for home.

After a few nights of camping in the rain Tyson’s Hipcamp was just the reprieve we were looking for! The property was easy to access, had plenty of amenities, and Tyson even had a fire going for us when we got there! Tyson was super helpful and easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again!

It's a very quiet getaway, but close enough to the city. The professional and friendly staff make it feel at home. The community house is stocked full of pots and pans and other baking utensils to virtually make anything you may be craving to make. The views are vibe here are awesome. We stayed in camping spot #1 with our VW bus. The community room/kitchen is gorgeous and nicer than my kitchen at home lol. Check-in was effortless. Compost toilets don't smell at all and there are many nice touches all around. The outdoor showers were a highlight. Very hot water also. Would definitely come back and I highly recommend this place!

The yurt was such a great experience! It was decked out with everything you could possibly need (chargers, flashlights, batteries) & the kitchen had all necessary supplies. The driving and parking directions were very clear. The land is beautiful. It was a bit louder than expected, with sound traveling across from other neighbors in the AM, but other than that our experience was great and I would go back again!

The campsite came with chairs, a picnic table and a fire pit. They had wood for sale and buckets for putting out the fire as well. The outhouse was clean and they had a spigot with well water nearby. Fern gully was so cute. I would definitely come back. I did peak at the other sites too and sun-kissed meadow was just so beautiful. Highly recommend.

Sally and Berry were amazing hosts. They have a beautiful property and our spot was nice and secluded. The porta potty was clean and convenient. Josh's hideaway is an awesome spot but my tent was definitely to big. A smaller tent would work better because there isn't a big level area. There are lots of trails. We were going to a concert at Remlinger Farms and there is a trail great for biking or walking to get there. Berry showed us how to find it. I would absolutely stay there again. We appreciated our hosts kindness.
