We are close to Turnbull Wildlife Park and a few local fishing lakes: badger lake, williams lake, and amber lake. The town of Cheney is a great place to stock up and bicycle the fish lake trail.

Interesting fact: Our homestead is located on the McConihe Flats. 1200 years ago the Sinkiuse Indians would meet on the McConihe Flats and trade. They would also collect things along the shore of the lake such, as duck eggs and reeds, which are still around today.
We are conveniently located between Moses Lake and Ephrata Washington. Only 12 minutes from either town where you can find Walmart, other stores, and resturants for all your needs.

Cloverdale Ranch is home base for the healing hooves of our large herd of goats. Our does started kidding (i.e. mama goats giving birth) May 9th and will continue into June. Watching them cavort in the pasture is a delight. We manage 200+ goats every summer, essential to providing natural vegetation management to manage weeds, reduce fire fuels and recycle carbon back into the soil. We love our dark skies and open horizons, and we want to share them with you. We have shaded tent sites in our windbreak with beautiful sunset views and access to a classic sheepherders wagon for additional shelter. The Bunkhouse is a work in progress, and a great deal this first summer.

The property, aptly named the Oasis years ago, is 34-acres of lawns, shade trees, ponds, and natural landscaping over 50 years in the making. The landscaping was started by Tom who still lives in the farmhouse. The Schierman family has owned this property for four generations. The Oasis is located in the rolling hills of the Palouse in eastern Washington State.
The newly created Yonder Hills Disc Golf Course is a private 18 and 9-basket course with long and short pads for almost every basket. A mix of open lawn, wooded fairways, water hazards, and elevation changes. Day, overnight or weekly reservations must be made to enjoy this private course.
The disc golf course is under construction with some layout changes on the last three baskets. It's playable but it isn't perfect yet. We had to shift focus to the barn restoration grant to meet the June 2025 deadline.
This is a perfect basecamp to relax and unwind or be creative. Read in the lawn. Cook over the fire. Explore the Palouse. Disc golf anytime.
Guests may bring their own private fire pits. Firewood is provided for the community fire pit.
Yonder Hills can be reserved for larger group camps and private camping events. There is plenty of room for several vehicles and tailgate camping.

There are no dedicated electrical hookups, sewage hookups, or potable water available at this time. Bottled or bulk water is available in in St. John five miles away. Electrical outlets in the gravel parking area can be used to charge small devices.

St. John has a bar/restaurant, grocery store, hardware stores, gas station, 2 hotel rooms, library, coffee and gift shops as well as a very nice 9-hole traditional golf course. There are numerous small towns, lakes, rivers/creeks, backroads, viewpoints, and historic stops around the Palouse region as well as amazing photography year round. Nice spot to spend the night when passing through the area. Sheri was helpful with our late(r) arrival and ensured our spot would still be available. We appreciated the heated bathrooms just a short walk from our site. The RV park is next to the highway, but we weren't bothered by any noise at night.

Monika was so kind and helped us above and beyond. We tent camped down by the lake. Bring a small rake if you camp lakeside due to goose droppings. As others have posted train runs every couple of hours so bring ear plugs for a sound night sleep.

We liked this site, it was a gravel road getting here which can be dusty. We were the only campers so it was quiet and we could see the stars. The Outhouse was clean and not smelly. The host greeted us and was friendly and gave us pointers for places to stop in town.

I loved tent camping here. Great little place for somebody like myself who was just passing through. The bathhouse was extremely clean and that’s what stood out to me the most. Host was very accommodating to my arrival, definitely plan on using this campsite if I’m ever passing through again.

We stayed here along a long trip to get away from the crowds and slow down for a few days. The lake front site was incredible, our dog and son and a great time playing in the warm water all day. There were a lot of bugs, and the weather was hot, but there’s nothing anyone could do about that. The bathrooms were small but clean. It was very quiet at night, despite the nearby train track. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Absolutely one of the most quieter and calmest campgrounds we’ve ever stayed in! It started with a delightful and informative host Monika, our site was right in front of the water for an extremely reasonable price. The site was level and clean with partial shade. The bath house was older but very well maintained and after camping for a couple days we definitely need a quick shower. Thankful she still provides this service! This campground sits by sprague lake that is beautiful, with gorgeous sunsets…we have stayed here multiple times and plan on coming back for more! 🙏

I really enjoyed the peace and quiet that Katie's Oasis provided. I sat under the trees in the evening, just watching the GIANT dragonflies dart around, eating the mosquitoes. Katie was very welcoming, and takes a lot of pride in her land. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. The gravel road was well maintained as well.

Sure, it's place to stay, but it's also an experience! Surrounding by beautiful scenery. Immediately, I was surrounded by miniature ponies, goats, cats, ducks, chickens, cows, etc. Made good friends with the dog. An active farm, but very peaceful and relaxing and calms down at night. And the stars and meteorites were very clear! Waking up to farm sounds was a delight.
I went on a very hot day, but be mindful, it gets pretty chilly at night, so be prepared for that.

GORGEOUS camp site. It was so nice to fall asleep next to the water. The lake had a cool breeze the entire trip, which made the 80°+ temps feel much more comfortable. I really enjoyed watching all the birds on the property, and on the lake. We saw some jumping fish too!
The bathrooms were clean, and the water spigot was easily accessible.
We would definitely stay here again.
