At Sprague Lake Resort, you can enjoy some of the best shore Fishing on the lake. The Resort is surrounded by springs that make this THE dock fishing spot for big (and tasty) Trout, Steelhead and even Bass. Sprague Lake is also known for it's big Channel Cats!
If fishing isn't your thing, you can Camp or just picnic and relax under the big old Cottonwoods that shade our park. Bird watchers can enjoy sightings of White Pelicans, Meadowlarks, Cormorants, Loons, Wood Ducks and many other species.
In our park under the trees, we have plenty of tent camping space and 31 full service hookups for your recreational vehicles. The endless shoreline offers a wonderful view from every RV or Camping site.

Lava Ranch is built around experiential stays. We invite guests to participate, observe, or simply enjoy the peaceful rural setting. Activities are flexible and offered at multiple levels — from casual farm chores to structured equestrian lessons.

The spots are graveled with partial view of the lake. The owners have a private residence on the location and guests are welcome to use the lakefront property. Engevik Point has a dock and water entrance. Guests are welcome to use the grassy area closest to the lake.
There are amazing sunsets to watch and wildlife to see. Kayaks are available to rent as extras if the owners are on the property.

Monika was so kind and helped us above and beyond. We tent camped down by the lake. Bring a small rake if you camp lakeside due to goose droppings. As others have posted train runs every couple of hours so bring ear plugs for a sound night sleep.

We stayed here along a long trip to get away from the crowds and slow down for a few days. The lake front site was incredible, our dog and son and a great time playing in the warm water all day. There were a lot of bugs, and the weather was hot, but there’s nothing anyone could do about that. The bathrooms were small but clean. It was very quiet at night, despite the nearby train track. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Absolutely one of the most quieter and calmest campgrounds we’ve ever stayed in! It started with a delightful and informative host Monika, our site was right in front of the water for an extremely reasonable price. The site was level and clean with partial shade. The bath house was older but very well maintained and after camping for a couple days we definitely need a quick shower. Thankful she still provides this service! This campground sits by sprague lake that is beautiful, with gorgeous sunsets…we have stayed here multiple times and plan on coming back for more! 🙏

GORGEOUS camp site. It was so nice to fall asleep next to the water. The lake had a cool breeze the entire trip, which made the 80°+ temps feel much more comfortable. I really enjoyed watching all the birds on the property, and on the lake. We saw some jumping fish too!
The bathrooms were clean, and the water spigot was easily accessible.
We would definitely stay here again.

The camping area was extremely clean and maintained to a high standard. The owner was a delight, extremely kind, and helpful. I saw large massive trout breaching. It took complete will power to not stay and fish, but we had other places to be. Also, the shower was pristine. Will definitely be coming back again. Note, the trains can be heard in the background.
