We’ve had this property in my family for over 30 years and it is been a potato farm, a cattle ranch, and a Lumber-mill site. We built our cabin from scratch from 47 tamarack large trees on our property. This is a very rustic and remote log cabin situated on 120 acres that is adjacent to DNR state land. It is primarily forested and teaming with wildlife. The cabin is about 4000 feet in elevation on Lemonasky Mountain just 1 mile below and an historical fire look-out. It is perched on top of a beautiful large meadow with a 50 mile view that has wonderful sunrises and sunsets.

Nirvana gardens is at 3000 feet in the North Cascades of Washington. It is 140 acres with a private lake. You will have access to hundreds of acres of roaming with your own private lake. Trail run, hike, Mountain Bike, lake swim, or just sit, meditate, and read a book on the cedar dock watching the sun sets. Nirvana is available in winter with certain requirements. Please message before booking to get a list of the requirements for winter months October 20th to April 1st. I had been searching for over 2 years for a property where I could make a difference in the environment and live in the wilderness. I was looking for water on a large tract of land that was remote. In 2017 I found the perfect property and to my dismay it had sold 2 days before I saw the listing. I was shocked because this was the perfect property. In my 2 years of searching I knew exactly what I wanted and this was the property. It had a private lake with fish. A solar cabin with a flush toilet and hot shower. The cabins 8 foot windows faced West for magical sunsets and view of the storms that roll in from the coast. It was beautifully treed with just the right amount of open meadow and forest with Hemlock, Ponderosa pine, and Larch. How could this property be sold? I tried to let it go but thought about it for the next year. After a year and a half had passed and my search continued I came across an advertisement for this magical property, it was up for sale again. I called the real estate agent immediately and found that an offer had been made but the buyers could not commit for 5 more months. I made an offer that day not really knowing how I was going to pull off the money. I knew this property was meant for me. I wrote the owner a letter explaining that I was a land steward and that this land would never be developed. I would be putting it in a land trust where no developers could put up condos. The owner happened to be a environmentally focused human and he ended up selling to me. Come to find out when I had first saw the property sold a year and a half before, that transaction had fallen through. The owner had just taken it off the market for the winter. You will absolutely love the magic of Nirvana Gardens. The quiet, the wild animals, the crystal clear lake, clean air, and relaxing healing atmosphere of the ultimate nature bath.

Magical Methow Valley Homestead

12. Magical Methow Valley Homestead

50mi from Oroville · 1 site
Welcome to Lodestar—a magical spot whose name means "north star" or "guiding inspiration." This sweet 13-acre property is tucked into a beautiful valley meadow and surrounded by openness. You can park your RV among wild sage and native grasses while taking in the night sky, spotting deer, and enjoying tremendous birdwatching. The property faces a stunning, majestic mountain in the foreground, with a view of a mountain range to the south. Birdlife abounds, including mountain bluebirds, meadowlarks, northern harriers, swallows, woodpeckers, phoebes, red-winged blackbirds, and mockingbirds, who nest and dance throughout the property. Secluded and teeming with wildlife, yet just an 8-minute hop to the artsy town of Twisp, which is designated as a creative district in Washington state. Or, you can go for a hike right outside your doorstep or explore the broader valley, rivers, and lakes from this basecamp. You will come away grounded and recharged by the natural beauty and serenity that surrounds you here. Self-contained RV guests are welcome to park, camp, and enjoy the outdoor spaces, including a deck (the best yoga spot in the valley!), a patio with a propane fireplace, and a screened-in porch sitting area at the main cabin. There are two tiny off-grid cabins on the property that are not yet available for guests. However, you can see details of the homestead and cabin development, as well as aerial views of the property, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hlHATHrFqA&t=1238s Come visit this special sanctuary and drink in the beauty of this natural landscape.
