I was looking for water on a large tract of land that was remote.
In 2017 I found the perfect property and to my dismay it had sold 2 days before I saw the listing.
I was shocked because this was the perfect property.
In my 2 years of searching I knew exactly what I wanted and this was the property.
It had a private lake with fish.
A solar cabin with a flush toilet and hot shower.
The cabins 8 foot windows faced West for magical sunsets and view of the storms that roll in from the coast.

How could this property be sold?
I tried to let it go but thought about it for the next year.
After a year and a half had passed and my search continued I came across an advertisement for this magical property, it was up for sale again.
I called the real estate agent immediately and found that an offer had been made but the buyers could not commit for 5 more months.
I made an offer that day not really knowing how I was going to pull off the money.
I knew this property was meant for me.
I wrote the owner a letter explaining that I was a land steward and that this land would never be developed.

NOTE: we don’t have cell reception and we’re only online once each day. After booking, we will send you our home landline number (no texting) to call for communication.
This is a working Ranch so please be aware that there are sounds associated with our activities: sheep and goats get excited at feeding time; livestock guard dogs bark while doing their jobs, and the rooster announces the break of dawn.

Dispersed camping in "The Field" can be booked through HipCamp, all other sites within the campground must be booked through our direct website. Please note the following about The Field:
The Field is exactly that - a large, open, grassy field. There are no shade trees so it is recommended that you bring your own shade, if you desire any.
The Field does not have any lighting - it is recommended that you do not arrive after dark.
The Silverline Resort is a no generator park, however we do allow generators to be used in The Field, but they must be turned off during quiet hours (10pm - 8am). All external noise devices must also be turned off during these hours.
Fires are allowed until Washington State or Okanogan County issue their annual summer burn ban. It is a different date each season, feel free to email the day before your stay to check if one has been issued for your dates.
Please book 1 site per tent or trailer. If you have more than one tent or trailer please book additional sites. These sites are dispersed and are first come first served. Assigned tent/RV sites within our campground must be booked through our direct website - they can not be booked through HipCamp.
Each site can accommodate up to 4 adults in the same tent/trailer, and up to 4 children in the same tent/trailer. Additional adults or tents/trailers need to book an additional site.
There is a port-a-potty located in the field, the bathhouse and showers are located inside the campground.
Our showers are quarter operated with a cost of $1.50/five minutes. Please plan ahead and bring quarters or stop by our store before we close and we can make change for you.
Our resort has a well-stocked general store where you can pick up camping essentials, including fishing tackle and supplies, RV supplies, soda and snacks, firewood, and ice. After picking up supplies, you can enjoy a family picnic at one of our large grass common areas. If you'd prefer someone else do you cooking, stop by the Wagon Wheel Kitchen, our onsite restaurant offering unlimited pancakes most Saturday and Sunday mornings. The Silverline Resort is a no generator park, however we do allow generators to be used in The Field, but they must be turned off during quiet hours (10pm - 8am). All external noise devices must also be turned off during these hours.
Fires are allowed until Washington State or Okanogan County issue their annual summer burn ban. It is a different date each season, feel free to email the day before your stay to check if one has been issued for your dates.
Please book 1 site per tent or trailer. If you have more than one tent or trailer please book additional sites. These sites are dispersed and are first come first served. Assigned tent/RV sites within our campground must be booked through our direct website - they can not be booked through HipCamp.
Each site can accommodate up to 4 adults in the same tent/trailer, and up to 4 children in the same tent/trailer. Additional adults or tents/trailers need to book an additional site.
There is a port-a-potty located in the field, the bathhouse and showers are located inside the campground.
Our showers are quarter operated with a cost of $1.50/five minutes. Please plan ahead and bring quarters or stop by our store before we close and we can make change for you.
Our resort has a well-stocked general store where you can pick up camping essentials, including fishing tackle and supplies, RV supplies, soda and snacks, firewood, and ice. After picking up supplies, you can enjoy a family picnic at one of our large grass common areas. If you'd prefer someone else do you cooking, stop by the Wagon Wheel Kitchen, our onsite restaurant offering unlimited pancakes most Saturday and Sunday mornings. If you want to get out on the lake but don't have a boat, we offer a wide variety of watercraft for rent. Other campground facilities include the following:

This cabin was so cozy. We stayed for a couple nights over Christmas and it was lovely. The cabin is very private with amazing views of the meadow and mountains. We absolutely utilized the kitchen, the available board games , and the surrounding landscape for snowshoeing. The central wood burning stove (plus the little portable heater we brought) kept the cabin a cozy temperature. We would for sure stay here again. Our traveling cat also had a lovely time!

3 nights at Toby Mill Cabin
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at this cabin . It was littlery everything i was looking for , for our adventure together. Our two dogs loved it to . There was a recent snow so it was like a winter wonderland , time went so slow on top of the mountain which made it even better. They have all of the basic camping kitchen supplies multiple beds, plenty of firewood and acres to explore. When we had a question joy was really quick with responding and kind. Overall we would defenatly come back to stay again in the winter.

My bf and I celebrated our anniversary this November at Joy's cabin. At first I considered moving our trip to the spring, but I *so loved* being in the wind and rain in a cozy cabin indoors. The remote location is absolutely magical. I would definitely try to get to the cabin before dark; barring that, make sure to have multiple offline versions of the directions: 1) Google Maps directions and map screenshots to the destination, and 2) Joy's written directions. She was very proactive and communicative via satellite phone when we were lost at night. Thanks again Joy for trusting us with your family's private home.

Gorgeous views, cozy tent. Lovely, caring hosts. You can't have open wood fires in the Methow valley, but the hosts have provided a gas fueled fire pit so you can sit around a fire under the stars. You can hike up to a stunning view of the mountains and the hills. It was heavenly.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this spot. So cozy and exactly what my soul needed that weekend. I loved watching the coyotes retreat to their dens in the morning, the raven that constantly visited the fence post, the sagebrush and rattling wind. The tent had EVERYTHING. I didn’t need half of what I packed. Amazing people who were wonderful communicators despite the service. I will absolutely be back here over and over again.

I was under the impression it was just a big field that was a free for all, but it was in fact an actual campground with all the things you need.
We camped here for a night after all the first come first serve campsites near Maple Loop Trail were taken up. It was about 45 min away.
I would love to come back in summer and actually hang in the lake and stay at the campsite longer to explore the area.

What a delightful stay we had at the Meadow Cabin. Our 4 night, 5 day stay was exactly what we needed. The fact that there is no wifi or cell service was a total blessing! The cabin is a great place to disconnect from the noise and I was able to relax deeply and reconnect with myself and my wife. I smiled more. Slept more. Rested more. Took gentle, ambling walks. I actually read for almost a whole day and ended up finishing an amazing 900+ page book—something I haven't done in years.
Our dogs loved it! Watching the cows was like a meditation. The colors and the weather shifted and changed throughout our stay, with a downpour with hail clearing much of the smoke from a southerly fire. So peaceful.
The peace and quiet at the Meadow Cabin seems a rarity these days. We will definitely be back. It is an inspiring stay for sure.

We really loved our stay at Matt's cabin, which was so homey and comfortable. The solar cabin was easy to use, and we had plenty of energy for all of our needs. The cabin sits on a very quiet 100 acres, and we had a blast playing around in the lake and running around the property with our dog, who got to be off leash the entire time. A few things to note: The cabin is pretty remote, and the road is slow, so definitely stock up on groceries ahead of time! (The kitchen is well equipped, so cooking is easy there.) The road up to the cabin is narrow but in very good shape right now--our AWD Volkswagen ID.4 handled it just fine in mid-September. Also, while at the cabin, we did run into one neighbor passing by in his pickup truck (he was very friendly) and one propane delivery truck, so keep that in mind if you have a dog (like ours) who is a car chaser. (Luckily we could hear the trucks long before we saw the trucks!) Also, we could get intermittent cell service, especially on the hillier parts of the property, if you need to use your phone or check e-mails occasionally while there. But Matt's cabin is a wonderful place for completely ignoring your phone if you can! Finally, Matt is a lovely person, and he's very easy to communicate with. We're very much looking forward to visiting again.

My sister and I absolutely loved it here! My dog as well. We spent most of the time on the porch. Was great to drink wine with a relaxing beautiful view. I expected it to be cold inside in the morning, but the cabin kept in the heat without needing to start a fire. My family grew up in a place like this, so it brought back so many great memories. This is a place I’ll come back to.

Christine’s land was perfect for a quiet getaway. It is on a farm, so you do hear animals from a far distance. It was not annoying whatsoever. Plenty of room for larger tents or even multiple tents. The river access was really nice for sitting next to with a cocktail or early morning coffee. The toilet is a little bit of a walk, but I always bring my own.

We loved the tent on Kellie's property. The methow views were beautiful. Watching the sunrise and sunset was absolutely amazing. The tent was clean and the set up was nicely thought out. Kellie had a charging block ready for us in the tent that also had a lamp on it, as well as 3 lights on another charging block. We did not have cell service which made it even more peaceful. The town of Twisp was a 10 minutes away. The people there were very friendly. The hubby and I will definitely be back!
