We have 2 acres above the Similkameen river with awesome views of the surrounding mountains. We offer fishing and hunting licences as well as local arts and crafts in our little store. A picnic table and fire pit are at the site as well we offer ice and firewood for sale. The river is a short walk down the path where there is a large area to swim,fish or just relax. The Historic town of Hedley is just a 2 minute drive west bound and Princeton is 20 mins away.

River view tenting site

I booked Pineview with my husband and my parents (they rented one of the trailers), and we had the greatest glamping time! The hosts are friendly and helpful, and their dogs are the cutest. The site has the most beautiful views of the canyon valley. The facilities were clean and maintained. It's a very short walk to the river where there's a sandy beach and perfect swimming spots. They also sell ice, firewood, and other things so you don't have to drive to town. I highly recommend booking this place!

River view tenting site

Great site with a short walkway down to the river. Unreal view of the stars, and nice place to have a fire. The property is located off the highway so you can definitely hear cars go by, but the sound of the river helps to dampen those noises. Sink was super handy for dishes, and the portable toilets were clean/well stocked. Kirsten was such a lovely host who made sure we had everything we needed, even checking in on us the second day and providing local recommendations. They have several dogs on site who walk around the property and came to visit our site a few times. If you’re a dog person, you’ll absolutely love them. We also paid $10 for firewood and got a huge bucket of it that was carried to our site and lasted us 2 nights of long fires! Would recommend.

River view tenting site

What a wonderful trip. Besides having a spotless campground, Steve and Kirsten made us feel right at home. Even offering us the use of their gazebo to cover the picnic table knowing that rain was on the way. Our campsite overlooked the river below which was accessible from the campground. Their resident dogs did their daily rounds to say hello which was a highlight for me. Chloe especially is now my buddy. It was my birthday weekend and I won't forget it. I can't recommend enough. Not a camper? They also have 2 trailers available to rent as well. We can't wait to return.

River and Mountain view 5th Wheel

Awesome place to stay!

The RV was great to stay at! The bed was comfortable & it was nice having a hot shower. Unfortunately, we had a bit of rain during our stay so it was great to have a place to curl up with a book on the loveseat or recliners or watch a movie. The view is great - the pictures don't do it justice. It was a great place to reconnect with nature & enjoy a campfire. The hosts are great & Kirsten made sure that everything was OK. Their dogs are adorable & friendly. The RV is a great place to stay as it's close to Osoyoos & Princeton & many other interesting places to visit. We'll definitely book again when we're in the area.

River view tenting site

We loved camping on Steve and Kirsten's property right above the Similkameen River - the view and the sound of the rushing water made the experience unique. The cute and friendly dogs, as well as being able to enjoy a real campfire were an added bonus. Kirsten was super helpful with anything we needed. The campsites are well spaced and the washroom and washing-up facilities are clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back to do some fishing & floating in the summer. Thanks Kirsten for your hospitality!
