There is water and power to the site as well as an established fire pit when burning is permitted.

You can experience beautiful sunrises and sunsets on our property. About 15 minutes away is Fish Lake. It's a wonderful lake for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing. There is also the Fish Lake bike trail there that is paved and wonderful to see birds and wildlife. Our place is close to many nature areas, just ask and I'd love to help guide you! Or if you're going into Spokane for groceries or other adventures, we're 15 minutes from downtown Spokane. The paved RV parking is fairly close to our house, we will provide as much privacy as you need. If you chose to take your RV further into the land, you can park anywhere and we can run an extension cord to power, as long as you don't park in the way back of the 5 acres. There is water too!

We let the grass grow tall on the property as it acts as a weed block.....we have spent hundreds of dollars and still spend a lot of time spraying and pulling weeds. Pitch your tent in a secluded cove of pines. Fresh well water within short walking distance (20 yds). Community covered patio with grilling available. LBR is primarily a tent camping campground. There are also many moles so the ground can be a bit bumpy. WE DO NOT ACCEPT R’V’s or campers larger than a camper van. 4 people per site, 6 max per site but that is $5 per person extra. little town of Bayview has a good restaurant Captains Wheel. 5 miles east on HWY 54. Something new near us! There is a new Super 1 foods grocery store with an Ace hardware store complex just after you turn off HWY 95 to come to LBR. NEW! Sweet Lou's BBQ Pit at Athol Crossings next to the Super 1. You can get all your food needs and many of your camping needs there. This will be very helpful to all our guests.

The property used to have some cattle, but now is vacant of any farm animals. You may see our barn cats who are very friendly. Deer often visit, and the occasional moose, elk, coyote, or other critters may visit.Learn more about this land:Enjoy camping in a rural location not far from the small town of Hayden (sister to Coeur d'Alene). We have an open, wooded hillside with many tamaracks, and an grassy meadow. The property is 5 acres in total, most of which we rarely visit and would love to have folks enjoy the place. You will occasionally hear trains passing about 1 mile away, which we find enjoyable. We are 10 minutes from Silverwood theme park, if that is your thing. The Coeur d'Alene National Forest is about 4 miles down the road, and OHVs and such can drive from here to there legally. We are also about 4-5 miles from Hayden Lake and closest boat launch. Please note this camping location spans 4 acres of a 5 acre property, with 1 acre being our residence and yard.

We offer year round electrical hook-ups, and fresh water in Spring, Summer and Fall (the pipes are winterized from approximately the end of October-March, depending on the snow season). While there is only 1 electrical hook-up, there is space for an additional vehicle, and options for parking locations if electrical is not required. Winter camping is available, but please note that we can receive large amounts of snow. Please reach out with any questions! The property we named GAEA (the old Greek spelling of Mother Earth) was first seen in a vision. Historically, Deep Creek Canyon was a winter encampment for the Spokane Indians, whose ancestral lands surround us. We feel the healing spirit of the land, in partnership and stewardship. We gather community for Solstice & Equinox celebrations, bringing people together to honor the changing seasons. Our original house was one of the first in the canyon, in the early 1940's.
