Small family owned campground located on the Naches river. We have 3 full hookup RV sites. Each site has river front access that is just 15' from your campsite. Come relax and enjoy the peaceful sound of the river flowing by. Depending on the time of year you will see deer, elk, our neighbor the river otter, a quick glimpse of duck or geese flying just feet above the river or possibly the bald eagle that flies over from time to time.
There is not good phone service in the area. You will be given a WIFI password upon booking.

There is a biogas hand pump toilet on site, however it is not maintained and is often NOT in working order. If you reserve this spot please be sure to plan for your own human waste disposal. If you do attempt to use the toilet please ONLY flush provided RV paper, others will certainly clog this system.

Located about 5 miles off the county road (High ground clearance and 4x4 vehicles recommended for this forest service road leading to the campsite), cell service will fall off for the first 4 miles, however most people will have service at the site itself. Please PRINT or DOWNLOAD the directions I will email you for OFFLINE use!
For now we are offering this site as a private escape campsite to enjoy the depths of nature in a serene setting. Wood fires are not allowed but we do have a propane firepit available for use free of charge - bring your own propane!

Lots of large groups have reserved multiple or all sites for their large groups and for more privacy. However please keep in mind the place still needs to be cleaned up upon leaving.
Private camp area close and easy access to Forest service road 4517 that has ATV, dirt bike and snowmobile trails in amazing Cle Elum's Little Creek and Granite Creek area. Can take ride ORV from campground to Forest road, but no trail riding in campground or surrounding gravel roads. Vehicles must have spark arrestors.
Quiet and private for groups to hang out and enjoy the area, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the night sky. We often kayak at Easton State Park or at Cooper Lake and then come back to this private camp area away from the crowds.
Huge parking and camping area where 10+ vehicles and RVs can easily drive to and park before heading out on the trail or use as a base camp to enjoy the peaceful mountains around you and explore are area around you.
You will enjoy the peaceful hills and unobstructed views of a stary night sky.
No electrical or water hookups. This is not a KOA, it's a very private rough campground area with beautiful views. There are no manicured lawns, but lots of rocky areas and often wildlife walking about. Deer and turkeys often are seen and grasshoppers when its warm. Forest Road to campsite often is bumpy with good sized potholes.
The internet service via T-Mobile is incredible on 4/18/2024 I was getting the following at the entrance of the camp area:

The camp site was fantastic, well kept, right on the river with full hookups. It was peaceful and relaxing. The owners were wonderful, even offering to let us know if the site was ready early. We stayed at Sheep Site #1 at Nest Well on Naches and had a wonderful experience. Leann was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The campsite was well-maintained, clean, and easy to settle into. The on-site Wi-Fi was a huge bonus since there’s no cell service in the area, which helped us stay connected when needed.
The location is peaceful and dog-friendly, with the river just steps away—perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day. While the highway is nearby, it didn’t take away from the overall tranquility of the site.
All in all, this is a great spot to relax, enjoy nature, and still have the comforts you need. We’d definitely stay again!

We're at Sheep camp for 6 nights and we are at home and comfortable. The waterfront beach is our favorite part of the camp.
The onsight manager and the owner are both gracious and responsive.
It's close to great local restaurants and the national park. We will be back!

Nice little spot! It was an appropriate size for 1 large tent and 1 vehicle. I probably would not park a trailer here. Note that it is adjacent to the large site (site 2). Porta potty super clean. I'd come back to this site or site 2. If I came with a group, I would get both sites 1 and 2. Easy access to ATV and dirt bike riding. Lots of trails to get lost on!

This site worked out well for a small celebration, (3 people), though we didn’t spend much time on the property. The bathroom was clean. On our second night (Sunday), we had the property to ourselves. Use the directions that Brian provides, and you shouldn’t have trouble finding it. The USFS road in has quite a few potholes to navigate. We managed just fine in a SUV and crossover. I had cell service with Verizon.

This was a great, peaceful place to set up camp for a few days near mt rainier. I loved listening to the river and wading in the refreshing waters after being in the heat. I have VZ, there was no cell service here for me, but it was nice to have the wifi connection. Leann was incredibly helpful and friendly too. Would love to stay here again if I come back thru the area.

I absolutely love this site. Right on the river. Full electric (50 amp, 30 amp, and 15 amp) hook up, potable water and a black tank hook up at every site. The area is clean, the camp host is amazing, such a great person and very informative. I will for sure be back. Thank you Michael for having us on your camp spot.
