This is a very private and quiet place, more of a sanctuary and not a party place. The only thing you hear is nature, a breeze through the pine trees, the birds, and the creek. This property was and is an organic permaculture farm in the forest. There are two orchards and an organic garden. The water is from a spring. The La Luna cabin is no longer off grid, but if the power does go out, it's a great place to be.. Hot Showers at my cabins are private and outdoors. There's nothing more wonderful than a hot spring-fed shower. The toilets are composting. (No water is wasted here)! Two of the cabins were built from the trees on the property by the first family that lived here in the earlier 1900s. The Birds Nest cabin was originally a tool shed that needed a LOT of Love to be in the condition that it is today. It does have power, running water and wi-fi. There is the option to take an acrylic painting class, banjo, guitar or fiddle lessons, paddleboard lessons, and have a real old-timey campfire with a glass of wine or two with live music performed by our famous Fiddlin Red on the fiddle, banjo, and guitar. Your experience here may change your life forever! We haven't added all the experiential options yet, so if there is something you are interested in please inquire. Every year we make it more and more magical and interesting. It's four miles up a county-maintained dirt road and one mile to a non-motorized lake. I can't see my neighbors, but they are awesome artists and musicians and some of them are off the grid! If you're bringing a pet, they must be on a leash and be quiet pets. If you are bringing a child they also need to be quiet and respectful. I want to keep my neighbors and my other guests happy with a peaceful atmosphere. Thank you!

We are offering a furnished bell tent in a secluded area of our private property in the beautiful mountains of Sandpoint Idaho. Our camp area is along a quiet creek that is visited by deer, wild turkey, squirls and even the occasional moose. There are also those less desirable critters that live in nature like insects, we do try and mitigate those troublemakers. This area of our property is off grid with a wonderful shower house built from wood milled from our own land, complete with hot water and a compost toilet. We provide Starlink WiFi and a way to charge cell phones thanks to our solar charged batteries. There is a fire pit, comfy chairs, a beautiful picnic table, again, made from wood from our own land, and a screened in area with cooking supplies. It originally had a wood stove but it was always to hot so we replaced it with an electric heater and at the same time remodeled the interior. It is very comfortable for two to three people as it only has the bunk beds, microwave, small closet and dining table with 4 chairs including a rocker and a cabinet with pots, pans and silverware for your convenience. Guests are welcome to forage fresh berries, herbs, veggies, and eggs throughout their stay — say hello to the chickens and help yourself to eggs, just do your best not to let the girls out (it happens to the best of us). A note for weekday stays: Our neighbor is currently building next door, with work starting at 7am Monday through Friday — no construction on weekends. To make those mornings a little more special, we offer complimentary breakfast and coffee delivered right to your tent. Just let us know your preferred time between 8 and 10am. Cozy, rustic cabin with views of several acres of lawn leading to a sandy beach at the water's edge. The cabin is a studio featuring a queen bed. The Pullman-style kitchen has everything you need to whip up tasty meals or a quick snack. Amenities include a TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. A propane barbecue is available on the large front porch. The Space Eagle Vista is a charming cabin that was once part of the old Sacheen Resort. Back in the day, the lawn and beach would be bustling with a few hundred people during the summer. Today, the property is enjoyed by family and guests, offering a much quieter and more relaxing atmosphere. The grounds feature a volleyball court, a beaver pond, and a badminton court. Guests are also welcome to use our paddle boat, canoe, a couple of kayaks, and a couple of paddleboards to enjoy the water.

Weekend Trip to Little Spokane Riverside Retreat

We loved staying at Saras Bunkhouse! The property was beautiful and right on the river, just a short walk through the dry camping area. Sara was incredibly kind and thoughtful before and throughout our stay! It was a hot day so having the river there was a great to cool off! Dry toilet as well as water to wash hands behind the bunkhouse. Besides indoor set up there is an outdoor kitchen with great seating (awning coming soon for some good shade which will be nice) Down at the river Sara provides some floats, life jackets, games, many of seating options, a hammock, fire pit right and river front access. It felt safe and private to camp here. Highly recommend if you’re in the area :)

Thank goodness for Belle of Glenrose. I loved the very comfortable, clean and lovely accommodations, the outdoor shower and the large porch, g-lamping at its best. The hosts were so kind and accommodating, and I highly recommend the daily breakfasts they made from their farm produce...so nourishing and delicious! The sweeping countryside views and the quiet were wonderful. I will be back. Mahalo nui loa Angela and ohana.

The host was very helpful and quick to respond and keep us informed which we really appreciated! Our dogs loved walking around exploring during our time there! We will definitely be back!

Upon arrival, Todd and his pup were very welcoming and kindly explained where to park and find the yurt. Once down the short trail, the spot was quiet and felt private. My pup loved exploring some of the woods and the yurt had everything you might need! I would love to stay here again!

We had an amazing stay! The space was very clean and we had everything we needed. Our family loved that we were allowed to roam the land with our dogs and 10 month old. The space is very kid friendly with lots for them to do. Additionally the garden and eggs were available. Lastly the breakfast is a must and a very sweet touch to our stay. We will be back!

I loved camping at Bigfoot Campout! Sight A was such a beautiful spot right by the lake. It was peaceful and quiet. The bullfrog melody at nights was so cool to listen to. We had so much fun paddleboarding and it was nice to not have to worry about motor boats. Nathaniel was an amazing host. Very responsive and polite. I will definitely be returning soon!

The space was perfect. It was quiet, romantic, and a beautiful view of the field/sunset. We had three dogs in that enjoyed it very much. We saw deer in the field in the evening and enjoyed a walk around the property. Only suggestion would be to be to possibly fence in the patio all the way so we could let the dogs out and not leashed the entire time but we still had a relaxing oasis.

It is such a beautiful site. Obviously it gets buggy at night and the solar is a bit wonky because of the beautiful tree cover, but there’s plenty of resources and such a great little community. Me and my partner had a very good time kayaking in the lake and chilling in the hammocks!
