Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. We live on our property, and have kids, dogs and chickens. You may hear us working, animals making animal sounds, and the kids riding their bikes up and down the driveway. We live in a small neighborhood of 5 acre parcels, the neighbors are quiet but their vehicles are visible through the trees when they drive past.
Whidbey Island is rural and therefore has spotty cell service. Some campers have said that their carrier does not get good cell service at our campsite, so be aware of that please. If needed, you can walk up to our yard where the sky is a little clearer to make a phone call or send a text.
Please only park vehicles and campers in the gravel parking area.

We are also situated less than a 10-minute drive away from an easily accessible dump station in Port Ludlow, on the way to the Hood Canal Bridge.
Please understand that we are a working farm that hosts businesses and other visitors. You will most likely see us and perhaps other guests during your stay! Our home is further down the driveway (to the south of the barn) and we have land mates and an Airbnb unit attached to our house. You will likely hear the sounds of farm projects, animals and people at times. We also live off the busy Beaver Valley road, making us an ideal location for access to the greater Peninsula, but also please know that you may notice road noise at times during your stay with us. We are not in a remote area that is completely silent - we are a bustling farm in a happening place. If you are seeking somewhere very remote without a lot of noise, projects or people coming and going, our site is sadly not for you. The Navy OLF is nearby. It is recommended you check the flight schedule for dates and times the jets will be flying. Depending on the direction they happen to be flying that night, it can get quite loud. In those instances, ear protection is recommended. About a third of summer weekdays the OLF is used. The jets do not fly on weekends and holidays. Having said all of this, most campers enjoy the airshow, as it is a unique opportunity.
The camp site is approximately 6 acres located in a quiet secluded forest area near highway 525. A fire pit is provided on non-burn ban days. A flat grassy area is big enough to enjoy your recreation activity of choice. Bring your binoculars and check out all the different kinds of birds. Nearby wetlands provide lots of food for birds, bats, and dragonflies. Other wildlife you may see are deer, bunnies, owls, quail, butterflies, garter snakes, and raccoons. Lots of native flora can be identified with your plant identification app or book. The beach is about a mile away where you can hunt for sea glass and enjoy the waves or build yourself a shelter out of driftwood.
The mostly flat gravel road can accommodate any size RV.

At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life.
Glendale farm experienced a devestating loss in 2022, the primary residence burned down, and since then has been going through an extensive cleanup from an extreme hoarding situation. We recommend using shoes at all times as we are still in the process of combing the grounds for glass and possible sharp objects. You can expect to see old farm equipment, some derelict Rvs, and material debris which we are raising funds to remove. Please be patient with us as we continue to improve the site with future showers, a comunal kitchen, and improved landscaping.

Lots to do around the area, including Finnriver Cidery, hiking in the Olympic Mountains and the Victorian town of Port Townsend. We now have decent wifi you can use, so option to
come and work remotely! (Unfortunately we don't have tons of space for kids or dogs to run around, but definitely plenty of nice grassy area to set up tents, yard games and a campfire).
Our site includes wifi, picnic table, and potable water. Campfires (outside of a burn ban) and pets permitted! However we do have free-roaming chickens (ask us about fresh eggs!) so leashed up or chicken-friendly dogs please.
Guests love staying here: "Gorgeous spot to sit, relax and take in the sunset across the farm fields before tucking in. We visited for one night with a 10.5’ tall camper van rented from Cabana, which fit easily under the shelter with plenty of clearance. The shelter itself is a great spot to get outside and eat a meal, and the rocking chairs in the yard were chill too! An occasional loud truck will go by on the nearby road, but not bad. We slept fine. Walk to Finnriver Cidery for dinner (yum)"

I was fine, traffic noise was tolerable but I expected the noise going in. Things were a bit overgrown but it’s not quite camping season so I imagine this will change. This would be great for a group camp. Loved the locked gate, felt safe and sound because of the community area in the center.

Great location to explore the area including Port Hadlock, Port Townsend, Discovery Bay, Sequim, Dungeoness Spit as we searched for a retirement location. The site is nestled among other homes but we hardly saw anyone and definitely didn’t hear anyone. We had 3 dogs with us and it was nice to not have other dogs barking and agitating them. We were able to relax and enjoy the view. The site was well kept and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a new campground with work in progress easily accessible from the highway. Although it's close to the highway, traffic noise was not an issue.
We were late arriving but Jeff communicated where to find our paperwork.
The facilities and grounds were well taken care of. There is a dog area and play structure. Only negative is there is no shade.
It's close to shopping, dining, ferry to Victoria, BC, and the Olympic Discovery Trail.
We would definitely stay here again.

I had a great experience at this RV campsite and would definitely recommend it to other visitors. The site is well-maintained, peaceful, and thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It is spacious, clean, and provide a good level of privacy. Everything felt organized and well cared for, which made the stay comfortable and hassle-free. It’s clear that the campground is managed with attention to detail.
Although there is a nearby gun range, the gunfire was not an issue at all and did not interfere with our stay. Noise levels overall were very reasonable, and the atmosphere remained calm and enjoyable throughout our visit.
This is a great spot for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable RV campground with a relaxed environment. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a reliable and pleasant camping experience.

The site was great, exactly what we needed visiting family in the area. It was overcast and drizzeling when we pulled in but the next morning the skies parted and what an amazing view of Mt. Baker and Hood Canal. We are at the longest recommended length for the site - a 30 ft, 5th wheel. Getting in was no problem. Getting out took some basic experience maneuvering the turn. All in all, it's a great site. Absolutely recommend.

We love this place! It has the perfect ‘local’ vibe - warm, friendly, helpful, and gracious people on a beautiful working farm. There is community and privacy in a nice balance, and is perfect for our tent camping- which I like to do to save money when in the area. Even on a stormy weekend (in late October!) I was able to make it work with Seth’s help, and I was very grateful. Yes it is a work in progress, but isn’t everything in life? I feel safe and at home here when I stay. It is our second visit, and it will not be our last.

The Ranger, ha ha inside joke. The GM was extremely helpful on finding the discovery Trail! He knew my first name, but I do not know his. This RV park has only been open for 2 1/2 months. What a wonderful facility. Very clean and well kept. Deer visited our campsite this morning! What a joy. Private individual shower/bathrooms. The whole facility is immaculate. It definitely checked all the boxes quite safe clean and friendly. Thank you so much! You made our visit to the Pacific Northwest a complete joy.
