Nearby wetlands provide lots of food for birds, bats, and dragonflies. Other wildlife you may see are deer, bunnies, owls, quail, butterflies, garter snakes, and raccoons. Lots of native flora can be identified with your plant identification app or book. The beach is about a mile away where you can hunt for sea glass and enjoy the waves or build yourself a shelter out of driftwood. The mostly flat gravel road can accommodate any size RV. 10 minutes to Coupeville, Greenbank Farm, Ebey's Landing, Port Townsend Ferry, and Patmore Pit Dog Park. 20 minutes to Freeland 25 minutes to Oak Harbor 30 minutes to the Clinton-Mukilteo Ferry 35 minutes to Deception Pass What you will need to bring: - firewood; apologies but I am unable to continue providing firewood. - self-contained RV, camper van, motorhome, or camping gear - water - grill or rack for fire pit - camp chairs - mosquito repellent - flashlights - recreation equipment Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash and in the presence of the owner at all times. Excessive barking will not be tolerated. Quiet hours start at 10:00 pm. Please stay on the grassy areas. Up to 8 hip campers at a time. The site address with detailed directions will be sent to you after booking. Relying on GEO for directions is not recommended.

This is a sweet place. Bathrooms are wonderful. The community kitchen and all they provide goes above and beyond. The tents look pretty awesome as well. And if you live off tossing it is a dream.

This is a commercial RV park that books partially through Hipcamp. That said, the park is fairly new, clean and well maintained. The showers are private clean and spacious. There is a robot store (not sure what the correct term is) for snacks and other necessities. The spaces are fairly close together with no physical boundaries but it was perfect for our purposes as a stop coming to and from the ferry to Victoria Isand. We would certainly stay there again.

Weekend Trip to Forest Van Camp

Very quiet and secluded spot in the woods. Must be self-contained, carry-in and carry-out. Nice additions include fire pit, chairs, picnic table, pet enclosure, and a forest pathway to a rustic lean-to. Whidbey was pretty quiet the weekend after a long 4th of July weekend.

This was there perfect place to stay for the 4th of July. Beautiful views, a clean and well kept camp site, and excellent communication by our host Jeff were just a few of the reasons we enjoyed staying here. Access to the neighborhood boat ramp and all of the nearby recreation activities were added bonuses. If you need a place to relax and enjoy some time near Port Ludlow this is it.

Cindy and Robert were absolutely awesome! They put a lot of time and hard work into their property and it shows. Power water, and sewer. Deer coming into the campsite. A nice quiet place to sit back and read a book.

The directions given were easy to follow. Once we got to the driveway there were "tent" symbols and lights guiding the way. We enjoyed the private camping sites pocketed in the trees and watching the bunnies eat grass. This was a very relaxing peaceful place to land.

We camped for 3 nights at site E. The sites are clean and well leveled on gravel and the property was quiet, well maintained and deer friendly. The owners home is on site and they are friendly and helpful if you need them but also non-intrusive. With full hookups this was a good place to base at for exploring the area!

Enjoyed our 2 nights at Jeff's place. This location is a great way to start and end our few days at Olympic NP. We stayed our first night onto the peninsula and then went onto Rialto and Hoh Rain Forest - then stayed another night on our way out. Check-in simple, laundry room clean and efficient - thanks for not making us download yet another app - quarters work!!!
