When we purchased this property it was covered with black berry bushes, we did not even know what might be underneath when we started to clear it. At first we just wanted a garden but the deer ate the blueberries so we planted pumpkins. They were a success, in fact one year we gave a pumpkin to each Beach School kindergartner. Later on we decided to set it up as with RV hook ups for our friends and that is how we got to where we are now. We love to share Lummi Island, it is a special place and we added the tag "Beach, Bikes and Hikes" lots to do on Lummi so bring your bikes, kayaks, walking shoes. Park your camping trailer or RV, water, electricity, both 110 and 30 amp service, sewer (septic hook up) are ready for you. We have a propane campfire for evening campfires but you will need to hook up your propane to it. Once you're set up, start exploring. The beach, blizzard trail, ride your bike, bring your kayak or just sit back and take in views all the way to Canada. Lummi Island does have a grocery store, near the ferry landing, two restaurants, no gas on Lummi, however the store does sell propane. There is two restaurants on Lummi Island the Beach Store Cafe, moderate prices but only open Thursday thru Sunday and the Galley usually open Wed thru Sunday. The best part of Lummi Island is the tranquility, kick back and enjoy fresh air, beach walks, outstanding sunsets and quiet nights. Pets OK, please pick up after pet and have a leash.

Courtney’s land is a rustic, peaceful oasis conveniently located near town yet feels tucked away in the middle of nature. We had our boat hauled out at Jensens on San Juan to do some routine bottom paint and maintenance. It was wonderful to have an affordable accommodation to camp at with our pup while we were on this island. Courtney was helpful and kind allowing us to extend our stay as our job took longer than anticipated. We will definitely stay here again the next time we haul our boat out or camp on San Juan. This campsite is a gem. Well cared for with stunning views of the sea and colourful sunsets. Access to the beach is a few steps across the road. Sounds of seabirds and the occasional fog horn background music. Our host was exceptional in providing for our comport and suggesting points of interest in the area. We biked daily and returned the friendly waves from passing motorists. Island time became real…with the tides replacing a clock. Will we return? You bet! Would I like to keep this spot a secret? Double yes!

We had a wonderful time camping on Rachel’s farm. There was plenty of space to spread out, lots of flat ground for tents, and my young child especially loved spending time with the animals. One thing to keep in mind: with animals nearby, you may hear roosters at all hours. This might not be ideal for everyone, so it’s worth noting.

Pros: The site is lovely, spacious, and well-equipped. We appreciated the fire pit, big tables, and huge trees (plenty of shade!). We enjoyed visits from the sweet resident cat and cow. The provided porta potty was clean and had plenty of TP. There's plenty of flat, shady ground for pitching tents. Rachel was very kind and quick to respond to my questions through the app! Cons: When we arrived, the trash can was overflowing and the fire pit was full of cigarette butts. There were small bits of trash scattered around the site. The hand sanitizer in the toilet ran out on the second day. We were all confused at first about where to park (but figured it out quickly). There was often someone hanging around directly adjacent to the site, which was unexpected (though they were quiet and out of the way). The rooster crowed very early in the morning—bring earplugs! All told, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the site to other large groups. :)

We returned for our second stay at this fun hip camp. We have enjoyed our daily bike rides around the island. Folks wave as they pass. We stopped to watch the reef net fishermen and learn how that is done. We shopped the farmers market and then picked yummy ripe blackberries along the fence at our camp. Our hosts are amazing. So friendly and helpful. We even did a quick dip in the water! But quickly returned to basking in the sun on the Sandy beach. We will return often.

We enjoyed our time camping here as a family. The location on the Skagit River was beautiful and we had plenty of space. We enjoyed easy access to hikes in the North Cascades. The club house was comfortable and we appreciated the bath house and outdoor kitchen area. They also had a washer and dryer available but we didn’t need to use it this time. Recommend backing in of traveling with a travel trailer.

Located close to Drayton Harbor, Blaine, WA, Semiahmoo, and Birch Bay and just 25 minutes from Bellingham by Interstate 5, this private campsite offers a bit of a view of Drayton Harbor and White Rock, B.C. on a sunny day and is serene. Also, 10 minutes from Nexus International and the Canadian border. There are a lot of fun events year around between Semiahmoo, Blaine, and Birch Bay. These are big enough sites to be a fun family or group camp sites. Pets are allowed but need to be on leash or under voice control as we do have quite a bit of daytime traffic. Nights are very quiet. We have a small goat farm (pygmy goats) next door which the children enjoy seeing.

Our campsites range between walk in wooded sites, and car camping sites that are open field sites next to the tree line. We provide wagons in our cart corral area to make it more convenient for the very short walk in. ( no more then a 200 foot walk in) We have a beautiful cedar grove to enjoy for lounging and picnics. The Bay to Baker trail borders our property, so it is just steps away and includes a 45 min round walk to a quaint little waterfall (maple falls). As well as a nature loop trail. You can also walk the other direction on the trail over a boardwalk. This direction walks along the back of the farm and allows you to see the veggie fields from a distance. Yofu can continue on the bay to baker trail for a nice walk. There is a conservation area, just a quarter mile drive down the road. With access to the Nooksack river, that includes several nice swimming spots and a couple nice walking trials. Silver Lake is just 3.8 miles away. It has a great recreation area, fun for the whole family. Just a heads up , you will probably lose service on your drive up here. But you will get service back when you are here. We suggest putting the map in your phone before you leave. Google maps will take you just past the farm, and apple maps will stop you too soon. So you are looking for the large kragnes family farms sign in the driveway. pull in and follo the camping signs to the back.

When we purchased this property it was covered with black berry bushes, we did not even know what might be underneath when we started to clear it. At first we just wanted a garden but the deer ate the blueberries so we planted pumpkins. They were a success, in fact one year we gave a pumpkin to each Beach School kindergartner. Later on we decided to set it up as with RV hook ups for our friends and that is how we got to where we are now. We love to share Lummi Island, it is a special place and we added the tag "Beach, Bikes and Hikes" lots to do on Lummi so bring your bikes, kayaks, walking shoes. Park your camping trailer or RV, water, electricity, both 110 and 30 amp service, sewer (septic hook up) are ready for you. We have a propane campfire for evening campfires but you will need to hook up your propane to it. Once you're set up, start exploring. The beach, blizzard trail, ride your bike, bring your kayak or just sit back and take in views all the way to Canada. Lummi Island does have a grocery store, near the ferry landing, two restaurants, no gas on Lummi, however the store does sell propane. There is two restaurants on Lummi Island the Beach Store Cafe, moderate prices but only open Thursday thru Sunday and the Galley usually open Wed thru Sunday. The best part of Lummi Island is the tranquility, kick back and enjoy fresh air, beach walks, outstanding sunsets and quiet nights. Pets OK, please pick up after pet and have a leash.

For generations, fishermen and their families have flocked to the abundant waters of the Magic Skagit, renowned for its legendary salmon runs, particularly the impressive Kings. My grandparents would take my father and his siblings to the resort, then known as ‘Phil’s Landing,’ for weekends filled with camaraderie, fishing, and unforgettable memories. Just downriver lies ‘Fishtown,’ the iconic floating gillnetting village that has transformed into an artist colony, where remnants of its historic charm still stand. In 1975, after years of hard work and dedication, my grandparents and father fulfilled their dream of acquiring this extraordinary property and business.
