West Perch – Smaller site with water and power, tucked along the western edge, pull through parking. Side Step – A simple park-n-camp offshoot along the lower driveway. Gully Vista – A hike-in, tent/hammock site, via a narrow trail down into the gullie. Most guests tent camp or bring vans. If your trailering, and the trailer weighs more than your 2WD tow vehicle, this place probably isn’t the best match. ✅ What Makes This Place Special: Backs up to 150+ acres of state timberland (10–20 year growth). Hunters: check regulations. Our new link trail connects to the Howell Lake ORV network—tight at first, then opens up. Trail map posted in outhouse. We’ve got firewood—might not be perfectly dry, but it burns. Bring kindling in wet seasons. Trash-free land. Please keep it clean. No glass (if you bring it, Do not break it). Howell Lake seasonal swimming hole nearby with rope swing. 2-mile hike (4/10 hardness) or 10-minute drive. Big night skies—great for moon/stargazing. We enjoyed our stay at the rustic A-Frame cabin with gorgeous views. It was a great place to kick back and relax and yet be close to a plethora of recreational opportunities. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen with quality kitchenware. We enjoyed, with the use of the provided spotting scope, watching the groups of Bald Eagles feeding on the mud flats at low tide. We ESPECIALLY appreciated that our dog was welcome.

We had such a wonderful stay at Tiffany’s glass house! The location was absolutely beautiful. Peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to unwind. Tiffany put so much thought into every detail, making sure all the amenities were in perfect condition and the space felt welcoming and well cared for. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well-designed, and the outdoor shower was definitely our favorite feature. It made the whole experience feel even more special. We felt right at home and would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway.

This was such a cute place with well thought out details. Getting to listen to rain on the glass roof was very relaxing. There’s a cute outdoor area with a fire pit, which would be great if you aren’t traveling during a burn ban. The heated outdoor shower was also very nice on chilly mornings. The place is very private. It’s in a gated neighborhood so it feels safe. The house also has its own little gate to feel more secure. There are trees all around so even though you are relatively close to neighbors, it doesn’t feel like it. There are also curtains all around the windows for added privacy. The beach is just a short walk away.

My stay at Camp Duckabush was nothing short of magical. The A-frame cabin is cozy, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. Waking up in the tranquil loft bedroom to views of the Hood Canal while drinking coffee on the balcony was an absolute dream. Inside, the cabin had everything I needed—from a fully stocked kitchen (with locally roasted Rainshadow Coffee!) to a comfy living area with blankets, propane heater 🔥, and FireTV. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the reading nook, board games, and even a spotting scope to watch the local wildlife. The outdoor space was just as memorable. I spent the evening lounging outside with a glass of wine in the provided lounge chairs. The views of the Hood Canal were stunning, and the peaceful setting made it feel like a true escape from the everyday. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a solo retreat, or just some time to reconnect with nature, I can’t recommend this place enough. I left feeling completely recharged and already dreaming of my next visit.

Our mini-honeymoon at Camp Duckabush was absolutely divine! We started each morning with coffee in hand, taking in the peaceful marshland views and spotting local wildlife. The A-frame’s interior is adorably decorated with charming touches throughout. Our host Makayla was wonderful, attentive and quick to respond to any needs. The cabin made the perfect base for outdoor adventures, from hiking to a stunning waterfall to enjoying panoramic views at Mount Walker lookout. We even had the magical experience of watching a family of elk cross the road, with the majestic bull bringing up the rear. Evenings were spent unwinding around the cozy fire pit, the perfect way to end each day. Thank you for an incredible stay!

Excellent stay here. Makayla was very responsive and thought of everything so that I felt at home. Loved the coziness of the place, the view, and lounging in the hammock on cold days but basking in the sun. Will definitely be back. Lots to do in the area. This was a perfect base camp.

We enjoyed our time at the A-frame! Makayla was very accommodating, responsive, and provided everything we could want for a relaxing stay. I loved waking up with a view of the water from the bed. The couch is super comfy and the whole place invites relaxation, with the books and board games and coloring pages. I appreciate this spot being dog friendly, and I felt comfortable letting my young puppy run around the yard without a leash.

Amberlee was a wonderful host! The trailer was cozy warm on a cold November weekend. She is working on a few renovations but the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had items we needed for basic meal prep and there were many thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome such as access to the covered outdoor fire pit. The track on the property was perfect for the newer riders in our group and the easy access to the ORV trails was appreciated! We had a great stay!

Makayla is an excellent host. The it's A-frame cabin is darling and a total delight. Updated, but still retaining the original charm. Visited for the Veteran's Day weekend with my Mom and 10 year old son. Made wonderful memories. If you have time, check out the 5 min hike to a beautiful waterfall- Rocky Brook Falls. It's off Dosewallips Road, very close to the cabin.
