Neighboring Muse vineyards, the state park and a 3 min drive to town. It's the perfect getaway and also an excellent hub to loads of fun nearby. Late August to mid September is when the PawPaw's are ripe and readily falling from the trees, booking during these times grants you access to the one of nature's best kept secrets, the Paw Paw fruit. You won't find them in stores but you can graze for them here. They make a delicious second breakfast

We have two kayaks on site free of charge. We have some life vests, but if you have your own, bring those along. The river's main beach located between sites 7 and 8, is shaded/filtered sun all day long while our smaller beach at site 1 is sunny most of the day and affords some of the nicest river lounging via a rock ledge that spans
4wd or All Wheel Drive are recommended. If it's been relatively dry, single wheel cars are 100% fine. We have ways to mitigate most weather events.

On the property we also have a Ice-Cream Shack that is open to the public. Hours for the Ice-Cream Shack varies. We are close to Historic Berkeley Springs and love sharing this piece of heaven with people like yourself. If you do not like the big camp grounds and just want a nice spot with a view to pitch a tent, or set up your camper, then you found it . A little about Mountain View Mini Farm. We are just minitues outside of Historic Berkeley Springs WV and 15 minutes from Cacapon State Park. You will have Great Views of the stars from your site. The sites are not far from our barn, and we will leave one tractor bay open for you, just in case it was to rain and you want to use it as shelter. The sites are not perfect level so you will have to level your camper a little. You will have your own fire ring and picnic table, also you will have access to fresh water. You will need a good size water hose if your going to hook up water to your camper from site 1. We have electric hookups that are 20amp Only. There is a clean outhouse but no shower at this time. We are working on making a shower. There is plenty of room for outdoor yard games. You will hear a little road noise and we do have neighbors. You will see me and my family out working around and feeding animals at times. The hosts house is not to far from the campsites. This is just a peaceful piece of property on a mini farm to get away and relax and explore Berkeley Springs WV. We are also only 15 minutes to Cacapon River for Kayaking and Swimming. We are also only 15 minutes to the C&O canal for hiking and biking. We do sell firewood for $7.00 that's around 13 pieces of wood. There is cornhole by the ice-cream shack that you are welcome to play. There will be more things added to the property in the near future. So come on out to the mountains and be our guest.

We had a great time at Taylor's landing! Excellent views and access to the Potomac and to the C&O canal towpath. The spot has everything you need including fire pit, picnic tables, and even porta potties! There were other campers nearby but we would have hardly noticed if we weren't told they were there. Easy to access, but Greg met us at the site and told us about the area and provided trash bags. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed camping at Cherokee Yurt! It is a very short drive from Luray caverns, so we would definitely visit them if we came back. The stars were beautiful at night. The yurt had more than enough space and items (even a waffle maker!). The only complaint we had was that the heat was not turned on when we came, despite the owner saying it would be, and when we did turn it on it only got up to about 50 degrees and took many hours. Admittedly, it was a very cold night--about 18 degrees--and for a glamping site with relatively poor insulation, that isn't entirely unexpected. But we would highly recommend that you temper your expectations if you stay in the winter and maybe bring a few heated blankets.

3 nights at #1 Rock Tavern River Kamp
It was very cozy and romantic! It was nice drinking coffee by the river and watching the sunrise. Bathhouse was very clean and well kept. We can’t wait for our next stay!

This is the second time that my family and I have stayed at this site. We liked it so much that we brought friends this time!
The location is incredible and Greg is an outstanding Camp host. He’s quickly responsive to all of our questions and needs.
He absolutely goes above and beyond to make the stay special and especially to find ways to make it really fun for our kids. May daughter loves seeing the resident cats and Greg’s very chill dogs.I also appreciate how flexible he was when some of our plans changed.
I will be back to this site many times.

Greg was very friendly and made the whole experience awesome. He shared fun stories and helped us out when we needed a blowtorch for our stove, and even let us stay at a site that we didn't book which has an amazing view of the night sky. The place and bathrooms were clean, and the sites were stocked with firewood. One of the best aspects of the trip were his friendly huskies and cats which made it feel even more welcoming. The area is right by the C&O Canal Trail, and there’s a cool cave nearby that’s worth checking out. Overall, 11/10 camping spot with a great host and great vibes, highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! The campsite is beautiful — right by the river with peaceful sounds of the water and plenty of space to relax. It truly feels like a getaway in nature.
It’s also very dog-friendly! We brought our 5 pups, and they were in heaven exploring and playing by the water. It’s the perfect spot if you want your dogs to enjoy the adventure too.
The setup is definitely more on the “true camping” side, which we actually loved. The bathroom is a simple tent with a bucket system, and the shower uses propane to heat the water. It works well, but I recommend bringing shower shoes and being ready to rough it just a bit.
Trevor, our host, was super nice and helpful — he made sure we had everything we needed and checked in to make sure our stay was going smoothly.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic escape where you can unplug, relax, and enjoy nature (and bring your pups along!), this place is amazing. We’d absolutely come back!

Greg was amazing! He was accommodating to us in everything we could ever ask for and more. Love the site and how open it all is. Perfect for a family or friend trip. Water was nearby for fishing (if you’re lucky haha) and an amazing trail that has alot to see. Cant recommend Greg and this camp site enough! Thanks again

It was a beautiful campsite and the grounds were open with space between all sites which was nice. The river was so beautiful to wade into! There were bugs (duh, you’re camping next to water!). Trevor was super friendly and helpful and answered any questions quickly. The shower was a good touch (definitely roughing it but again, you’re camping!). River 3 had a fire pit set up and ready to go with some chairs. All in all, very happy with the stay

My son and I loved camping out on Greg's land. Beautiful scenery right next to the Potomac, where we saw a bald eagle flying around looking for fish. Greg was very accommodating and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Would definitely return for our next camping trip.
