Our campground is in the heart of all that Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley has to offer. Hiking opportunities abound as Luray is the closest town to the Thornton Gap entrance of Shenandoah National Park, and is to the Skyline Drive, taking drivers along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains!
The Luray Caverns, a national historic site, with it’s famous Great Stalacpipe Organ, are just a few minutes away, and tubing, canoeing, and white-water rafting adventure can be found at the nearby Shenandoah River. Museums and Civil War sites will feed your history-loving soul!
Onsite we have a brand-new camp store! We also have a large pool and small pool, a gathering yurt for groups and an event pavilion, a playground, and a jumping pillow is in the works! We have two deluxe cabins and four deluxe yurts for more ways to appreciate the great outdoors with those additional creature comforts.

Milton and Amy were extremely helpful, especially with clear directions. Our diesel heater went out, so staying at Milton and Amy’s place was truly a lifesaver…having electric hookups made all the difference for us.
It was a safe, comfortable place to stay for the night, and we really appreciated the peace of mind. As a bonus, we loved seeing the chickens…they added such a nice, welcoming touch to the stay

this site was great for a quick overnight stay! i took my dogs on a walk around the neighborhood, there was a dog at a neighbors house that spooked me and followed us, but nothing happened. just a heads up for dog owners, keep an eye out, there were a couple roaming neighborhood dogs.
however, everything else was lovely and i would definitely recommend. the wifi was a little spotty but i think i was a bit too far away.

Very sweet campground on the backdrop of a pretty farm.
I loved that they had a little general store, a dog park, and very clean bathrooms!
On the flip side, I was surprised to see that the bathrooms only had one toilet.. I was expecting stalls to make it easier for multiple campers to use the facility at the same time. In the mornings we all get the same idea and a line begins to form.
I also was NOT prepared for the early morning wake-up call from the sheep, who were very cute, but very chatty!
The external light on the bathrooms was also VERY bright, which did obscure the stars for us, which was a bit of a bummer.
But the grounds were clean, there was ample parking and it was definitely a family and pet-friendly space.
