It has a few acres at the bottom of the valley with a creek that rolls through it. The remaining land is stunning mountain acreage, which you can explore. An agrarian dream - a literal field of possibility. With 18 acres to choose from you may find yourself sleeping along the lazy Fifteenmile Creek, atop a hill under Virginia stars, or even set up with pastoral views of hens and Great Pyrenees dogs.
The roadfront side of our property offers level terrain for pull-behind trailers, while vehicles (preferably 4WD) and tent campers can travel all the way back to the creek. Feeling froggy? Ford the stream and camp in the large field on the other side. Be sure to mind the animals and fields, as this is a working farm.
One mile down the road from the farm is the Virginia Creeper Trail, renowned for biking, but as a multi-use trail, you can also enjoy walking, running, horseback riding, fishing, cross country skiing, and geocaching.
South Holston Lake is only minutes away by vehicle, with two public access boating ramps 10 to 20 minutes away.
Access to the Appalachian Trail is only 20 minutes away in Damascus.
We became caretakers of this lovely property in June of 2021, moving from our existing farm, 45 minutes away. When we got it, it was a blank slate of a hayfield, and we have spent the summer laying infrastructure so that we may grow our cut-flower, honey, and vegetable business.

Plans
We are building an educational homestead with farm stays here in rural SW Virginia to include dining experiences and food preservation classes. Our 35 acre farm is located on a mountainside with
beautiful
views of the Clinch Mountain. Our location is rural and peaceful with abundant wildlife. Deer, Racoons, Opossums, Bobcats, Bear, Fox, Groundhogs, and Turkey have been spotted on the property. We are a great spot for bird watching as well!
Camp Grassland:
Two of our prepped campsites
are on a flattened area of the hillside field with access to a fire pit, log bench, and porta-potty. This location is in direct sun with beautiful views and easy access from the road. Parking at the top of the field is recommended unless you have a 4WD vehicle.
Cabin Breazy:
Situated at one of the highest points on the property, Cabin Breazy is our cozy, off-grid, dry A-frame cabin surrounded by mountain views.
Farmhouse Holler:
2nd Campsite is located next to our old farmhouse on a lower section of the property. Its near the natural spring and is shaded. There are no convenient bathroom facilities at this location so it is recommended to bring your own. Reaching the porta-potty would require an extensive uphill hike or driving around to the other entrance. To reach this campsite, the driveway could be considered
rough terrain so drive slowly. Lowered vehicles or those with little ground clearance are not recommended.

If you are looking for birds-eye view of the area, visit the Mendota Fire Tower only 3.2
mile away. You can see it from the farm and see the farm from it. It's about
a 15 minute hike from the road. You can choose the mildly challenging way up or take the old roadway for a smoother walk.
Clinch River is only 20 minutes away. Cool off in the river or enjoy kayaking and tubing opportunities from Clinch River Adventures.
Closest convenience store is about 15 minutes away.

Friendly-leashed pets are welcome on the property. Remember to always keep your pet tethered as we have free roaming animals on the property. Never leave pets unattended on the property. Please clean up after your pets!

Tri Mountain View Campground is located in the Northeast corner of Tennessee in the town of Shady Valley. With an elevation of 2,800 feet, Shady Valley is the second highest town in Tennessee. It is just 26 miles from the Bristol Raceway and the Bristol Caverns. It is just a 15 minute drive to Backbone rock and a short drive to the Appalachian Trail. The property was a Dairy Farm and went out of business in the late 90’s and since then there has been over 3,000 trees planted. Some of these trees include the rare Butternut and Hazelnut, but mostly White Pine, Walnut and Oaks. The property has approximately 1,000 feet of fishing on Beaver dam creek, so we recommend bringing waders. There is also a shower house, washer and dryer.

This was a great stay. I stayed in one of the treehouse cabins. It was bright and full of windows, little porch out front, both large enough and cozy at the same time. I had a view of nothing but trees, clean bathroom to myself, personal firepit and Adirondack chairs, grill, privacy but could easily get to the main house. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and because I wanted a little light at night, they offered a large battery with a lightbulb that was perfect for lighting the cabin. They also included a pitcher for drinking from the spring on the property, which I filled and used daily. 10/10 would stay here again.

Phenomenal spot. Very private - you will not have signal when you get there or on the way in so save Missy’s instructions! Also be sure to bring TP and paper towels - there was enough for one night but don’t count on it for more than that. Overall stunning spot and would absolutely stay here again. Maybe five cars total passed by down the mountain in 24 hours, but you can hardly see or hear them at all and there’s a creek in between so I didn’t have to worry about my dog. I also think I saw a review that said there were Adirondack chairs by the fire, but none while I was there. I brought a gravity chair so again no big deal, but be sure to bring your own camp or lounge chairs for around the fire.
Weird note - we did come across an off-leash beagle on our morning walk that chased us home (probably friendly but I picked this spot specifically because my dog is dog-aggressive, so not ideal for us).

Weekend Trip to Stormbrew Farm
This was my second stay at Stormbrew and both times we were the only ones there.
We ran into the owner’s daughter when we stopped by the bathroom at arrival and she was super nice - invited us to join her for a cookout if we wanted.
The site is tucked at the back of the property along the stream where it’s nice and quiet. The unit was fairly simple but cozy. You may need a solar fan during the summer for extra air flow though.

The description really can't do this place justice; you just have to enjoy it for yourself. The view obviously is unbelievable and is the star of the show. But Cabin Breezy is wonderful on it's own. You can tell Jessica put so much love and attention to detail in every inch of the mini but mighty A frame. We also weren't expecting to have an actual bathroom and shower to use (not just port-a-potties). So that was a major perk. My fiancé, our dog, and I came up for a little 2 night getaway for my birthday. Work has been WAY more stressful than usual lately for both of us. Staying on this land was cathartic in so many ways and we return home feeling completely renewed. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with the rest of us! Weekend Trip to Longhope Mountain Glamping
My husband and I stayed for a long weekend getaway, and while we love to travel and airbnb all the time, we both agreed that this space was one of our most favorites! The cozy tent-cabin had every amenity we needed while being perfectly simple and romantic - even providing a handful of tea light candles and large glass holders that we graciously took advantage of. We appreciated all the blankets that had us snuggling up together in the cooler temps, as well as the gas heater on the colder night - and because it had doors like a tent on either side we were still able to enjoy breathe taking fall colors while relaxing inside (temperature allowing). The kitchen amenities were perfect for us - we love to cook and thoroughly appreciated the sink, dishware, and gas stovetop - as well as the smokeless fire pit. Everything was clean and exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely be back!

My family and I loved camping out at Sarah's tent. Great location next to wonderful hiking (Elk Knob) and close enough to downtown Boone/Blowing Rock to go grab food or shop. The tent itself was better than I could've asked for. It was clean, spacious and had most everything you'd need. In fact, we ended up bringing way too much stuff that we didn't need because Sarah already had it provided at the site.
Check in was super easy, Sarah met us at the end of the road and directed us up to where the site was. You would definitely need a 4x4 vehicle, but if you had to it wouldn't be too bad of a walk into the woods. The site itself was surrounded by large trees on the side of a hill with pretty great views through the trees. The leaves were starting to fall so we got to see the hills across the way. While at the site, it is super quiet and private. You feel very secluded with no nearby campsites. We especially loved this because when trying to book campsites at other spots, there is usually sites within view. You don't need to worry about that here, which was our favorite part about it.
I think this will be a spot we come yearly around fall to enjoy the leaves, hiking and cooler weather. We loved it! Thanks Sarah!!!

The site was easy to get to, yet quiet and private, down the hill from the rest of the farm. We sat on the platform and watched the sun set, then fireflies, and then a clear starry sky. Horses peeked over the fence in the morning. And with all this, a morning run to get some coffee took just 15 minutes. We'll happily come back.

We loved staying here! Connie and Ashley were so welcoming and made our stay a delight. The Wagon was being remodeled so they moved us to Pondside which was so cute and comfy to stay in. What a beautiful farm, so glad they are sharing it. Can’t wait to come back!
