👋Hey There! Having a mountain property to share with other outdoor lovers and creative minds has always been a dream of mine, and I'm honored to share this magical 30-acre property with you. This land sat vacant for about ten years until I started bringing it back to life last year. While the property is in its early stages, it still has much to offer! It has a few acres at the bottom of the valley with a creek that rolls through it. The remaining land is stunning mountain acreage, which you can explore. There are many unique sections of the mountains, but at a minimum, be sure to see the mountain spring! It's like a fairytale back there most of the year... I'm developing and offering many types of stays, so as you wander the property, please be kind and courteous to all guests. Be sure to respect their camp space. ☺️

Let our fully furnished campsite, with a shelter, a kitchen, and a shower, help you focus more on relaxing and enjoying nature! With a picnic table tucked under the trees just feet from the creek, you can immerse yourself in the comforting sounds of nature. Adjacent to your picnic table, you will find a fire pit beckoning you, eager to add its crackling fire to the symphony. Solar string lights cast a soothing light over the camp at night. Two chairs await you and a loved one for cozying up by the fire. The kitchen, bath, and shower are just a few steps away and are lit at night by solar string lights for the perfect ambiance. There you'll find all the kitchen items you need to enjoy your stay, a hot shower, and a cool rustic space to eat or simply chill out. The kitchen, bath, and shower are under roof.

Welcome to Southwestern Virginia, Heart of Appalachia. Feel refreshed when you stay at this rustic gem. Cook in the outdoor kitchen with a view of the valley. Hike 30 mountain acres. Take a hot outdoor shower. Count the satellites zipping across the starry night sky. Relax out of the weather under the roof. Explore the spring through the different seasons, you can typically hear it flowing past camp May-July.

Hidden Mountain Clearing Jamboree

Steve was a great host. Very accommodating and quick to respond to needs. The campsite was perfect for our family. We had 4 adults and a dog. lots of room to enjoy the outdoors. There is a bit of a climb (hill) to get to the campsite but Steve had a heavy duty wagon that made it easier to haul our stuff to the campsite. The compose toilet was clean, easy to use and had everything you need. Steve had everything set up for us when we arrived (2 tents and a shelter over the picnic table and had the basic cooking utensil available). We will definitely come back. Thanks for a great family weekend

Creekside Valley Field (1 acre)

Great little spot along the river. The host Steve was very kind and fun to talk to. He lent me a ground tarp for the night and gave me an insight into what he is working on there as well as some good life advice. Will definitely try to stay there again if I pass through in the future.

This mountainside getaway was peacefully perfect! The creative touches in every corner and fresh picked wild flowers in the outdoor kitchen were only the start. Everything I could think of needing to have was already thought of and way more. Also beautifully and conveniently placed by this thoughtful and creative host! Highly recommend this Gem ✨

Steven and his property were great! We had a decent size group of friends looking for a camping get away for the weekend. He let us rent out the whole property and it was so great! It is right on a creek with lots of wildlife. The kitchens are set up with everything you would need. We will definitely be back, and I recommend you to rent the whole property for your large group as well!

lovely property + friendly host! my stay was short as i only needed a place to park for car-camping through the night, but i felt very safe and would certainly stay here again.

The owner is friendly and brings the hospitality. The area looks amazing.... I was unable to fulfill the booking, but I hope to visit in the future

Cute little set up. I loved the outdoor kitchen- the host provided all you needed to cook a meal or in our case make coffee! Definitely would stay there again!

Creekside Glamping + Kitchen & Bath

Steve was awesome and extremely accommodating. He was able to tend to us and all of the other campers he had on site. His land and innovative set up was perfect for our girls getaway. He provided a five star experience for us. The communal kitchen was well stocked and clean, the yurt was beautifully decorated and neat. We are looking forward to see all his improvements he has planned for his property and plan to stay again.

Creekside Glamping + Kitchen & Bath

Steve was a super nice host. He gave us a tour of the property when we arrived and helped us feel welcome. The site was a good 50ft or so from neighboring sites and boasted a fire pit, two chairs, and a picnic table. The kitchen was super convenient for cooking. Steve has equipped it with a propane stove, plenty of pots, pans, utensils, cooking implements, and plates for our use. There’s also running water to do the dishes! He also has a trash can with secured lid to keep animals out and a lock box for food making meals and the clean up super easy and efficient. There’s also an outdoor shower with hot water, drinking water, and a little primitive toilet. We were the only guests and the area is quiet with a lot of lovely wildlife sounds. The property and site are close to a road but it’s not a busy road so it didn’t disturb the peace. He also has a gravel parking area for cars which is not too far from the site. Would definitely stay here again!
