Buck Rock Farm: You’ll savor the time relaxing in this new 3 Bed 3 Bath luxury cedar log cabin situated on a 50 acre historic farm on the TN/ VA border. Located just three miles from Interstate 81, you will appreciate its privacy, yet still have five minute access to dining, entertainment, and retail therapy. This farm has been in continual use since before the Civil War and serves as a small farm, with a camping/hunting preserve. You’ll see abundant wildlife and delight in the breath taking long range views of the Appalachian Mountains. With a mix of fields and forests, you can stay in style and still unwind in nature on the trails, and wide open spaces. You'll enjoy an amazing wrap around covered porch with picnic tables and rocking chairs. Hi-speed internet (300mbps), and a fully stocked game room. At night you’ll love the stargazing while you chill and grill by the fire. Allows up to 6 guests maximum. No pets, we are a dander free cabin. No smoking or vaping. If you need some extra space for two more adventurous guests, there is a separate listing for our large 10x12 Safari glamping tent with a queen bed, under a perched roof on a deck. Stone fire pit and camp furniture with a 10x10 shade tent. Bring your own sleeping bags/linens, pillows, towels, food-n-drinks, and you’re all set. (extra fees apply). Camping & Hiking At Buck Rock Farm

Great stay. Traveling in 23’ campervan and the Hipcamp was not easy access. Car access questionable. Bryan graciously set us up in a different spot. We had a view of the mountains as an extra bonus. We had great weather. Beautiful stars. It was a last minute booking for us and worked out perfect.

Close to downtown, highly recommend

Camping & Hiking At Buck Rock Farm

We were just passing through so unfortunately did not get to really experience the property. However, Bryan was so nice and responsive. He knew we were coming in a little late so he placed flags along the way so we could find the campsite in the dark. It was so helpful! Our night was very quiet and peaceful. This property is close to downtown and the highway so it worked out great for us!

Bryan is an awesome host who was really caring about the quality of my stay and was able to help at the drop of a hat! The location is right outside Bristol and about 25 minutes or so from Johnson city, so a perfect location! Thank you so much Bryan!

Peaceful and private spot

Camping & Hiking At Buck Rock Farm

What a great spot! Privacy and space was awesome! Bryan is a great host and offered to accommodate anything we might need. Fire pit was great and all set for cooking over the open fire. You really can’t ask for a nicer spot or a more gracious host. We can’t wait to book again on our next trip through.

Camping & Hiking At Buck Rock Farm

We stayed 2 nights and would highly recommend! Bryan is putting a lot of effort into his property to make it a one of a kind experience. Our dog had a blast chasing birds, frolicking in the grass, and roaming the woods Bryan is clearing out for hiking trails. This site is about a 15min drive to Bristol, so if you miss civilization you can always explore the town. All in all, we can’t wait to come back and see the progress that was made from our last visit!
