Weekend Trip to Peaceful Hollow Pines

This was a great, quiet, and peaceful retreat. We had a short stay but enjoyed ourselves very much. The site is exactly as advertised and the surrounding areas are very beautiful. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Enjoyed our stay at this campsite. Easy to find and was able to drive up the campsite, exactly want we wanted. The Peacock noises made us laugh and it was a beautiful day to get away.

Out of this world. A slice of heaven. Maybe I’m just buzzin from my stay but it feels like Terry is doing a public service by keeping this place available for camping. I can’t wait to go back over and over again. Incredible view, fire pits and firewood everywhere. Great access to water. Plenty of space. Absolutely therapeutic.

This campsite was AWESOME! The view was stunning, and we felt like we were tucked away on a hidden gem all weekend! Terry was very responsive and very helpful in getting us to the campsite and all settled! We loved the quarry and watching all the wildlife roam around! Quick and easy access to hiking and to Harper’s Ferry, which was a nice perk!

It’s a well maintained, beautiful site with higher ground camping sites that overlook two water filled rock quarries. If you wake up early enough, you might see deer wandering the lower section near the quarries. Terry, his family, and friends are all incredibly nice people! I highly recommend this location and will visit again.

4 nights at The Lavat Spot Eudaimonia

We had such a great time on Melissa’s property. Super private river front site big enough for our 33ft 5th wheel. Water and electric. No sewer but the outdoor shower and kitchen helped us conserve our tank. Outdoor shower was beautiful! Close to town. The road to the site was a teeny bit dicey (steep and windy) but we managed fine. Would love to stay on her property again

This is a nice, peaceful, site! It has a lot of open area to camp in…and woods for kiddos to walk around in and be creative! It is very close to so many local attractions.

Great camp site right on the water. Fully equipped with just about everything you need. Melissa was super responsive and very pleasant to interact with. We had a blast. Our two kids told us that they had an amazing time. Thanks!!!

Great spot. Pretty isolated and close to the DMV. A few folks living nearby, but you are on your own.

We had such a peaceful and memorable stay at Hidden Gem Hipcamp. The sound of the creek was incredibly relaxing — the perfect natural soundtrack for a quiet getaway. Our pup, Neo, had an absolute blast exploring the area and especially loved watching the goats! It was such a joy to see him so entertained and happy. The Abdallah was kind and welcoming, and check on constantly due to weather inconveniences. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape surrounded by nature (and some friendly animals!), this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful, long weekend at Sarah’s. It was so nice to have the sink and Blackstone. The porta-potty was clean. Easy access to the water.

Not only wash the property breath taking, spacious, and felt very secure/safe bringing my toddler nephew along, Terry made recommended another site closer to the restroom that was more accommodating to a toddler since Site 1 was much farther. The new site was also very spacious and had a gorgeous view over one of the lakes. We did have neighbors during our stay, but the sites are spaced out nicely with clear boundaries. Upon arrival, Terry help navigate us to the site, gave us a helpful debriefing of the property, with his recommendations where to explore, and was very transparent of other campers. Typically being a solo camper, I felt very at easy bringing kids and would definitely book here again!
