There is a reservoir nearby as well. We are in the midst of the suburbs not far from Fredericksburg, which has some great historic and community places of interest. Our facilities are private and we only rent to one or 2 guests at a time. You can glamp in a trailer, or car camp in a nice campground with power and water or you can go primitive and pack in. All spaces include access to our classical 11 circuit labyrinth and backyard gardens where you can enjoy zen rock garden and other contemplative nature crafts. There are some great extra's here as well including an outdoor jacuzzi and indoor infrared sauna and massage chair. These spa features are another great way to get your zen on here. I offer Forest Bathing and individual retreat support sessions, an quarterly sweat lodge and also vision quest support if people would like to experience a solo nature immersion feast.

Camper vans are welcome at the main farm! Our farm store includes our Animal Welfare Approved products such as Eggs, Chicken, Beef, Pork, Lamb and Dairy, as well as produce, jams, coffee and other items from our local community. We offer camping essentials, local art, bike rentals, farm experiences and tours. The property has miles of trails along mountain spring-fed streams, a small pond and access to three private acres on the Robinson River, a stocked Trout stream, just 2 miles down the road. Our property is centrally located to White Oak Canyon (20 minutes) and Old Rag Mountain (10 minutes) trailheads in the Shenandoah National Park as well as many vineyards and breweries. The view and location was everything we were looking for when visiting luray caverns. We actually did a cold plunge in the river. It was awesome. We booked another night just because we wanted to enjoy the scenery and tranquility. The hosts were responsive. The only thing I will say is me and my girlfriend were unable to take a decent shower in the shower rooms because after a minute or so of the water running. It began to smell like sewage. So after the first night we didn’t shower or brush our teeth or anything inside the bathrooms/showers. It was a really horrible putrid smell anytime we tried to shower.

My husband, daughter, and I stayed here over the weekend. The location was peaceful and absolutely gorgeous with the autumn leaves. The cabin was cozy, and the accommodations were pleasant. The bathhouse was well kept, clean, and maintained. We hung out with our cabin neighbors over a bonfire, and the whole experience was memorable. We will definitly be coming here again.

My fiancee and I had a lovely and relaxing stay at this glamping site. It was beautiful and scenic, and the stars really came out and popped at night when the skies were clear. There is a toilet right behind the tent and a shower on site, as well as wifi provided, which is very convenient. Jud was incredible and very accommodating for all of our needs. We had a great time time chatting with him about how he arrived to the area and he gave great recommendations on things to do / check out nearby. We are already planning our next trip back, next time with more of our friends! Lovely stay - couldn't recommend enough.

We absolutely loved staying here. It was "roughing it" without really "roughing it". I.e., we had access to a toilet and an actual bed. The night we arrived was unseasonably cold, but a propane heater was provided and the bed was warm, cozy and really felt luxurious. So comfy! Jud taught us about the berries on the bushes that kids loved to eat and also feed the goats with. The location was perfect too. Allowed us to be flexible with our plans since hikes and other attractions were abundant, some as close as minutes away. Has easily become one of our favorite places to camp.

We really loved our stay here, such a beautiful location! There’s already a fire pit, grill, hammock and table which is great. Camp cats are a plus for us!!! Usually we tent camp but we have a baby and with the cold nights/mornings this time of year, this was perfect. Loved being close to showers and restrooms - only downfall was people from another location drove multiple cars down and used our already shared bathhouse. The first night was fine as this didn’t happen but the second night and morning there was at least 10 additional people which really made it difficult. We left an hour later than planned because they filled the bathhouse our morning of departure and we had to wait for them to leave. Not sure if this is typical but that was a negative for us as it’s already shared with other cabins.

We had a great experience glamping. Everything you foul ever need had been thought of and provided. The host gave us a warm welcome and provided detailed instructions. We are used to camping so having a bed and toilet was quite the treat. First night got down to 45 and there was a small propane heater we used to heat the tent before bed and when we woke up so we were quite warm. The land and area are beautiful and we enjoyed the plentiful stars. Blue quartz winery/brewery was truly at the end of the road and we had a fabulous evening with more views there after hiking in Shenandoah National Park. Definitely would recommend the stay to others and hope to come back soon!

It's an older remodeled home so please keep in mind the bathrooms are still small. The basement is a great place to play games, hang out and enjoy a cold beverage. The basement has an air hockey table for some competitive fun! The patio off the back of the basement has a table and chairs. And off to the side of the house is a large gathering spot with seating, large dining table, string lights, and fire pit. This location is a perfect spot to play corn hole, cook s'mores, and hangout around the fire pit. Enjoy! The home is completely renovated and we tried our best to use all the space. The steps leading down to the basement have a low clearance. Please mind your head when you are walking up and down. The basement does have a drop down ceiling ranging from 7' to 6.5'. One of the queen bedrooms in the basement has no central air. We do have a heater that warms up the room nicely. In the summer it does stay nice and cool. We have a fan available for that room. * 2 pack n' plays available please bring your own sheets * High chair is available and located in the laundry room. Toys and books are in the twin bedroom on the main level. Puzzles located in the TV stand in the family room. Library is located in the basement. * Firewood and charcoal are not included. Weddings: We are less than 8 minutes away from wedding venues: Afton Mountain Vineyard, Hazy Mountain Vineyard, Veritas Vineyard, Valley Road Vineyard, Maren Estates, The Blue Ridge Farm, Cardinal Point Vineyard, Swannano Palace, and more! Rebbel Runs is a 3 minute drive from our house. They offer scenic vineyard horseback riding. Hikes close by: Blue Ridge Tunnel, Humpback Rock, Appalachian Trail, Pauls Creek Trail, Shenandoah National Park, and more! Fly Fishing: Book gear and tours with South River Fly Shop and Rockfish Gap Outfitters Wintergreen: Has a lot to offer during all seasons. Winter: ski, cross country ski, snowboard, tubing, snow shoe, and indoor pool. Summer: hiking, mountain biking, walking trails, and swimming at lake monacan.
