Staying in Oma’s cabin was beautiful. The cabin feels handmade down to the smallest detail. You can feel the hosts’ Erin and Philip’s care in everything about the place. Excellent kitchen set up with everything necessary to cook meals and clean up. The stove kept the cabin warm and comfortable when it was cold and windy outside. Luna the dog came by to say hi. Fire pit is great for having a fire under the stars. Walking distance to a great hiking trail. Really just a perfect off-grid cabin in the woods.

An amazing stay at a beautiful property! It was a little hard to find- when I clicked the directions option on the booking, it took me to two different places that were both incorrect. The address for the campground is 262 depot street, and the campground map is difficult to find- doesn’t seem to be on the Hipcamp site. Our friends booked the river run site so we were able to take over the whole area, and our dogs could run around and play which was great! Very private and secluded, though it might have felt too close if people at the adjoining site (river run) were strangers. We will definitely be back, so many cool and different options for lodging!!

Show up with as little as a tent and some sleeping bags and Ted has you covered on the rest. This campsite has some of the best amenities I’ve ever experienced. From the hot shower to the stove, gazebo, and fire pit, Ted has got you covered. The campsite is also in a beautiful woods with a lovely brook nearby and great walking paths for you to get your day started with. I couldn’t recommend a campsite more than this. We will most certainly be returning.

The tenting, bathhouse and air bb sites are all so well maintained and cute. We loved that it was so spaced out between sites, making it feel private and more immersed in the beautiful NH mountains. Public beach available to guests that’s right on the river. The little reception cabin had anything you might need and availability to buy wood bundles at anytime. We will definitely be back!

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. Imagine all the amenities of a campground, but you scored the only site on a 500 acre working maple syrup farm. Its a 10 minute uphill walk from your car. We have a wagon for you to shuttle your gear if needed and for an additional fee we can shuttle your gear up to the site based on host availability. We provide the tent, cots with insulated mattress, outhouse, and water for the outdoor kitchen. For an additional fee we will also provide sleeping bag with liner, and pillows for up to 4 guests. The tent has room for 4 people, if your group number exceeds 4 you will need to bring an additional tent and sleeping gear. We have 2 single and 1 queen size cot. To fit 4, the single cots will need to transition into bunk beds. There is plenty of hiking and back country skiing right outside the door. At the base of the driveway there is a popular river suitable for swimming, paddling and floating. We are close to multiple mountain biking trails, local restaurants, breweries and are just off the long trail.

We live on 52 wooded acres in a natural area surrounded by lakes and ponds just 14 miles north of Montpelier VT. We are located on the Green Mountain Gravel Growler bike packing trail and 7 miles south of the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. We have lots of hiking , biking, boating and swimming opportunities nearby. Our amenity's include a bath house with two flush toilets and a hot shower. We also have a washer and dryer available for our campers. We have two 30 amp RV sites with full hook ups and 4 tent/small RV non electric sites. We are 100% solar powered and have good WIFI but no cell service. We cater to small quiet groups who can enjoy our peaceful setting. If your are bike packing and our sites are booked just text or stop in we will accommodate you. The campground is located along our town road and the sites are 50 - 100 feet apart along our driveway. This is not a wilderness experience you will have neighbors, including us We are a family friendly, non smoking campground. We are open early May till late October. Pets on leashes are OK. Quiet time is all the time :~). 12 and under free, no Generators.

Learn more about this land:Secluded cabin within walking distance to the Haystack Mtn. hike with 360° views (3 miles round trip, cabin to summit and back). Cabin has a 2-burner propane stove and fully stocked kitchen (pots, utensils, etc). No running water or electricity, but cabin is stocked with 7 gallons of drinking water, plus a rain barrel for wash water. Separate outhouse with a sawdust bucket toilet and bucket shower. Two camp-size mattresses upstairs - bring your own bedding. Woodstove for heat. Fire circle outside for campfires.
