This was my second stay at the Zen Cabin. I just love the peace that surrounds the whole property. The cabin is very comfortable and there's a nice propane stove to keep it warm. I can't say enough about how good the well water is. For me, this is the perfect place to disconnect with the chaos of the world and connect with nature. Beautiful!

How lovely, private, safe, calm, clean, beautiful place! The host is SUPER responsive, anything you need they will reply w the best attitude. The instructions are very clear. One of the most beautiful things was founding a little bed where my dog can sleep that was the cherry on top. Very close to town. We love the place and the town unfortunately was a very short trip but we planning in go back for more days.

We had a great stay at the Zen Cabin. The cute little cabin was just as advertised. Mitchell welcomed us and made sure we were all set. The temperature was forecasted to dip in to the 30s and he made sure the heater was working so we would be comfortable. It was a nice sleep after a fun wedding down the road. My wife and I enjoyed a crisp morning overlooking the field while we drank our coffee and looked at the cows who came to say hi. We only had a short stay, but it was clear that Mitchell and the Zen Cabin are a great little find in Northern Vermont.

this was such a lovely spot! the bed was cozy, a nice wooden futon, and the cabin was spacious enough for all our extra gear to live inside overnight. the composting toilet is nice and clean, the parking is right beside the cabin and the firepit was perfectly placed to watch the sunset from our hammocks. Mitchell was a kind and gracious host and we felt very well taken care of, their dog was sweet and unobtrusive and knew enough to leave our dogs alone. the area of craftsbury is adorable, make sure you grab some firewood from the local spot on the way in.

The yurt was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, we didn’t want to leave. It’s obvious that it’s well taken care of. The deck was a great hangout spot and the trails behind the yurt led to a great view. The outhouse was well kept and having the option to take an outdoor shower was very cool. 10/10 would recommend!

Our stay here was great. The location is close to many hikes in the White Mountains, including a short hike right from the yurt to a stunning summit. Bethlehem is a cute town with shops and options for dining (Maia Papaya was delicious). We also went into Littleton - there is an extensive natural food co-op. The yurt is private with a lovely view. It is roomy, and well-furnished, and has a beautiful deck. With a cooktop, water, hot shower and dry-flush toilet, it has all the amenities to be super comfortable while still off-grid. Highly recommend staying here!

We loved staying at the Zen Cabin! It was a beautiful setting with the cows, farm and green mountains in the background. The bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed sitting around the campfire. As others have said, the water from the natural spring is incredible! Our tent and yurt sites are located on 5 acres of private woods and are 4 acres apart to allow for maximum privacy for our guests! Parking for both sites are shared. The tent is 50 yards up a rustic wooded path through the woods and the yurt is an 800 yard (10 minute) uphill walk from the parking area. Both sites are adjacent to our local network of hiking/biking trails that connect to the summit of Mount Agassiz, which offers stunning views of Franconia Notch. There are three beds inside the cabin, bunk bed with a full size on the bottom twin on the top and a futon couch ***bring your own bedding, towels washcloths, paper products, plates, silverware** This Camp is rented through an honor system and because I rent it this way it saves you money by not paying all the cleaning fees like Airbnb, but you must leave the camp in the condition you found it or better taking anything brought to the property away ** especially trash or anything in the refrigerators** at your departure date. If anything inside or out was moved during your stay make sure it is placed back in its original placement, feel free to set up as many tents that will fit along with Easy Ups.
