It has some magnificent old growth trees 100 foot tall. There is a good rd that my friend has used with his Lincoln. Most any vehicle (car or Pickup)can get to the site. It gets a little tricky if you are pulling a trailer. A small one is OK but a large one - not so much....... The rd goes 1/2 mile to the rear of the land. Moose, deer and other critters visit too. We live 1/2 mile away from where you enter the woodlot. Our house is on Brownington Pond (200+ acres) & campers can use this site for swimming, boating & fishing. Located on a scenic dirt road between two covered bridges, our campsite is on the edge of a beautiful, peaceful horse farm. This is a great place to come get away and relax. There are quiet woods to walk through, miles of dirt roads to walk or ride on. We are close to a short hike on Mount Philo or Raven's Ridge. We are 15 minutes away from Lake Champlain and 30 minutes from Burlington and Middlebury.

We had such a great time at the yurt and exploring the property with our two dogs! Morgan did a great job of showing us everything we needed to know for our stay. The yurt itself is absolutely beautiful and truly makes you feel like you’re sleeping in nature. The location that they chose to build the yurt provides an amazing view of the mountains right out the front window. We opted to use the wood-fired hot tub while we were there and it was a fantastic experience. Although the wood stove was out of commission during our stay, the space heaters that were provided were more than enough to keep the yurt toasty, even during the cold late November nights. We would gladly come back again!

The cabin was a perfect retreat for my husbands birthday. Our dogs enjoyed all of the outdoor adventures and cozying up with the wood stove. There’s enough creature comforts to feel at ease while also enjoying the simplicity of being in the woods.

Well, lemme tell ya, this here’s the view from my little ol' parking spot. We got ourselves some good ol’ electricity 'n' them fancy low voltage lights all 'round the place. Makes it real nice when the sun goes down, ya know? Perfect for a campin’ trip, if ya ask me!

Everyone would have there own site but you could all hang out together or have dinner at one site and breakfast in another. Great group overland site, Adv moto site, or group of friends in a car because it’s not far or technical from the main rd.

Jon was most accommodating and a wealth of local information. He loaned us an electric heater for our camper so we didn't have to use the noisy one installed. The driveway was a bit daunting for backing up but we did it without too much effort. There's a great hike with waterfalls on the property and a cute cafe close by with good food and live music. The bathrooms were the cleanest and nicest I have seen camping! We will definitely return!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. It’s cozy, clean, and surrounded by beautiful nature. The location is ideal — secluded enough to feel private, yet just a short drive to local trails and small-town shops.
