Weekend Trip to Tiny Shiny Escape, River Runs Thru!

Very peaceful with the little stream running behind the spot. My class C was a bit of a tight fit but it worked. Chad was an amazing host and the area is very scenic. There is also a hiking trail 3-5 minutes up the road. The spot itself is very private feeling with trees surrounding. This location is also starlink friendly.

The location was very peaceful, the views were stunning and the hookup was self explanatory. Our host was lovely and had a whole breakfast set up where she made us a fresh cooked breakfast. She had everything we could’ve needed and ensured we were looked after. Will definitely be visiting again.

The host went the extra mile to accommodate all of our needs. The view was incredible and the breakfast, which we didn’t expect, just made the visit that much more enjoyable.

We camped in our Class B van with our corgi. Lynn was so nice and we chatted with her for a while and learned about the place and all she was doing. She was very helpful and we felt right at home. We had a great night's sleep and Lynn made us coffee and tea in the morning and gave us eggs for our trip down to Moab.

Nice little place up out of SLC. Lots of McMansions to view driving up. Right next to a very quiet road with hardly any traffic and there is the nice creek.

Easy enough to find. It can be a little loud with jets overhead, but not bad at all. We had fun in the clubhouse and the views were amazing.

Despite having someone parked in my spot upon arrival, which was 11pm, this park was amazing. They were quick to help with the issue of someone in my spot by giving me another spot. The bathrooms and on-site facilities were very clean and well-kept. I actually spoke shortly with the maintenance tech there, an older veteran, and he was very nice. I hope to find myself in the area to pay another visit

Great spot in a great area! Staff up front are super friendly and helpful, respectful of your time. The owner makes and sells sourdough bread in the office sometimes, I bought a loaf and it was awesome. Store up front is great. Nearest town is full of great stores. Residents are very quiet. It is right near an air force base where fighter jets practice. Cool to watch! Nothing in the RV parks control obviously but if you have a dog sensitive to noise you might want to know about the sonic booms ahead of time.

I appreciated Chad's hospitality, communication, and help navigating to the spot in the dark. The drive back to the canyon was great at night and the roads were clear and maintained in the winter (I was worried - Chad assured me they are safe). I woke up to the most amazing views, snow covered trees, and the running river completed the whole thing! I felt like I was in Narnia. Beautiful spot. Great host. Highly recommend. Thanks Chad!

We have been planting Hazelnut Trees, Chestnut Trees, Peach Trees, and a grove of old Oak Trees, old apple tree varieties, and of course our Mulberry trees... We have expanded our ranch to a few more acres for our cows to be able to have more room. Our Fire Pit is open to all guests. The wood for all designated fire areas is provided. There are BBQ Grills, Dutch Ovens, etc so you can cook out doors. The Outdoor hot water shower offers a place to cool down in summer heat... Water is always hot with our tankless water heater... We plant and tend vegetable gardens for our guests to share in the harvest. We plant Huggle Mounds in the spring... as well as grapes and assorted fruit trees... You are welcome to walk our Custom Labyrinth. You are free to wander the fields, gardens and orchards. When the garden is in bloom, help yourself... Most sites have air conditions or fans, as well as heaters in season. 110 power is at each site... We have a Grumpy Dragon Cafe outside with a help yourself breakfast bar. Picnic tables are provided at tent sites and at the Grumpy Dragon. WIFI is available at the Grumpy Dragon as well as at your camp site... Help your self to muffins, breakfast bars, beverages and fresh fruit. A refrigerator is outside for cold water and frozen water bottles. Coffee, tea and Hot chocolate is always available. WIFI is available at the for an outdoor Cafe...
