OUR AMENITIES
•Full Pull through Sites
Our pull-through sites are 85ft long and 17ft wide and will accommodate any size unit. Each site has its own grass area as well as a pedestal with 20, 30, and 50 amp and full hookups.
•Wifi Across Campground
Make your camper home base where you can stay up to date and plan your next days events. Our WiFi includes dedicated routers at each site for top speeds.
•Premium Shower / Restroom
Upgrade from your RV shower and restroom while you’re here! Our shower and restroom facilities include 6 clean personal bathrooms. one being ADA-accessible.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-Are pets permitted?
Yes you are allowed to have two pets with you, although they may not be aggressive. See policies for more information.
-Do you have a ten-year rule?
No, but we do expect all vehicles to be well-maintained and management has the right to turn away any RV.
-Is there a fee for cancellations?
If the reservation is canceled prior to 24 hours from check-in time there will not be a fee, however, if it is within 24 hours there will be a $30 fee.
-How many people are permitted at a site?
Up to 4 adults are permitted at each site.
-Are the showers free?
Yes, they are free.
-Do you have a laundromat?
Yes, the entry is on the north side of the building in between the bathrooms.

-RV Site Policies
Our Mission is to share, nurture and invite others to the beauty that Nature has to offer and to provide a safe place to stay. The following rules were established keeping in mind our mission and to allow for the safety of the guests. We ask that you please be mindful of others. All contingencies cannot be covered in a set of rules, future modifications may be made. Thank you for obeying the RV Resort rules which allow us to have a safe and enjoyable place to stay.
-Vehicles in the Resort
Limited to one(1) RV and one(1) vehicle
*Please reach out to management if other accommodations are needed. Third vehicles must be approved.
-Well Maintained
The RV must be in a well-maintained overall condition. Management has the right to turn away any RV.
-Site Care
We strive to provide a clean and well-kept place for all our guests. We ask that you assist us with keeping the sites clean and free of debris. To do this we ask that you only have furniture and other items intended for outside use visible at your site. If storage of items is needed we ask that it be done in an orderly manner inside appealing/well-kept storage bins under your RV or vehicles.
For the safety of all resort visitors, the speed limit throughout is 5 miles per hour
-Consideration
Quiet time to be observed daily from 10 pm-8 am
If not respected, management has the right to ask you to leave.
-Not Permitted
•No hanging laundry
•No appliances outside of your RV
•No alcohol except at your designated site
•Absolutely no fireworks or firearms
•No repairs or maintenance may be done in the resort, except by resort approved mobile services. Inoperable or unlicensed vehicles are not permitted in the resort
Parking anywhere but your designated site is not allowed
-Pets
Pets are welcome but must be kept on 6-foot max leashes except at Dog Park. They may not be left unattended throughout the resort. RV guests are required to immediately clean up and dispose of all pet droppings. If not disposed of immediately fines may occur.
Pets are not allowed in any Painted Hills RV Resort buildings, bathrooms, or playground areas. They may not be left unattended outside of such areas.
Limit to two pets. No aggressive dogs are allowed. If your dog exhibits this type of behavior, management will ask you to find other accommodations and you will be liable for any damage or harm caused by your pet to the resort or others.

Fremont culture and Anasazi people were the first known inhabitants of the area. Petroglyphs, pithouses, arrowheads, pottery, and manos dating from A.D. 750 to 1250 found in the area are evidence that it was on a major thoroughfare of early indigenous peoples. At nearby Parowan Gap ancient people inscribed petroglyphs on smooth-surfaced boulders that feature snakes, lizards, mouse-men, bear claws, and mountain sheep. Located near the Parowan Gap there are dinosaur tracks. East of the Gap and petroglyphs hikers can discover Hadrosaurs tracks that were originally formed in non-resistant mudstone. Later, the Old Spanish Trail
passed through the area.
The nearby town of Parowan was founded in 1851, twelve months after Parley P. Pratt and members of his exploring party discovered the Little Salt Lake (dry lake bed)
which is straight out from the property.
The area was traveled by early settlers that used the nearby Red Hills to pass through the area
to hide from aggressive Indians that hid in the nearby mountains that watch for them traveling on the Spanish Trail. Many arrow heads and artifacts have been found on and near the property.
Later (early 1900's) sheep herders camped in the same place as the location of the property.

The site itself was wonderful. Unfortunately, the water was shut off and we weren't notified in advance that there wouldn't be water. There was also a check-out discrepancy, the app said noon, so we were planning for noon. At around 11:30 a gentleman came and told us we had to leave because checkout was a 11. I said that the app said noon and he said that the paperwork we received said 11am. I would think that the app, from which I booked from, should be consistent with the paperwork. Honestly, we didn't use the paperwork except for the directions to our site. So that's on us.

This was a lovely campground, and although it was close to a major road, we hardly noticed! We loved this location for its proximity to both Bryce Canyon and Red Rock state park, and enjoyed being nestled amongst the pines. Nice flat pull-through spots with hookups for our 21’ trailer., and well maintained by “Scooter”!

Great campground. Really nice big spots so it feels like a good amount of privacy. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again. Only bummer was that the coffee shop was closed that Saturday morning :(

This was a great place to stay. The owners were very nice and the campground was very nice. The sites were level, the only drawback was it appeared several of the sites if you back in the hookups are on the wrong side, this would be ok if you have a long hose.

This was one of the best camping experiences I have ever had! You are back in the woods away from everyone. There is a huge dog park so you can let your pups run without worrying, and a wonderful space to hang out with a projector and games. Not to mention free laundry! If you don’t mind a drive to be in a beautiful space this is the camp site for you.

We spent one night there, very nice and clean, large spots…Some on the sites have pea gravel where your rig parks others have med-large river rock that are difficult to walk on. My only negative is they need more than one bath house..we were a good distance from the bathroom for night time visits. The check in process is super simple and the owners were very nice. I would stay there again.
