Great place to camp! Great access to the river! The river was very shallow and pet friendly.

Amy and team are amazing, kind, and generous hosts. We enjoyed the animals, river, & land to roam on. It was a pleasant reprise from the city. We will definitely be back.

We stayed the weekend for a getaway from life and work. Such a calm and relaxing location. It was nice to lay in the hammock and watch the animals walk around. We enjoyed walks around the property with small trails to walk through. One of our best moments was sitting by the lake at night to star gaze, it was such a beautiful view of all the visible stars. Our 4 legged furry daughter really enjoyed laying on the top floor balcony of the dollhouse to enjoy the entire view. We had such an amazing weekend. Thank you Amy for being such an accommodating host. We will definitely 1000% be back!

1 night at Gypsy Moon Hideaway

The experience was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Amy was very accommodating and great with our children in our group. This camp has a wonderful pavilion with lots of seating and activities for the children also. We loved the animals, the quiet, and the area to walk and enjoy. We will definitely recommend this place to others. We look forward to our next visit!!

Used passing through for a night. Quite pleasant and wouldn't mind staying longer next time.

3 nights at Gypsy Moon Hideaway

This place was so great! Amy was amazing and gave us a tour of all her animals. It was a wonderful time. We will definitely be back!

The campsite was amazing! Great view, great vibes and an all around good time for a group of friends to camp together! Firewood was available and the portable toilet was clean and stocked with toilet paper. Our kids loved all the animals and the river

Lots of free range animals. It was the best! It was like being on a family farm but with full hookups. Farm fresh eggs and snacks available.

Weekend Trip to Stanford Ranch Lakeside RV Resort

The exceptional customer service absolutely made this trip for me. I had tried to book a stay with them back in November for it to be canceled due to the rain/ mud on the property. I decided to rebook again this past weekend and Sandy Bottoms River Co offered a free upgrade for the inconvenience on the cancellation form November. I met John at the RV site, which was right on the Brazos with a beautiful 3-Tiered Deck, hammock, fire pit, and gas grill. John was so sweet making sure I had everything I needed. I will definitely be booking with them again!

The kind gost met us after dark when we drove in. He helped us get safely to our spot. It was a peaceful, lovely, lakeside rv spot.

Amy was very friendly and helpful. Loved the farm animals.

I definitely recommend the upgraded river access tent camping. It's on a really nice stretch of the river.

This was a lovely escape from the city with a beautiful and relaxing view. Loved all the birds we got to hear and spot in the morning

We loved our stay. We had a little trouble finding our campsite but the hosts were extremely kind and helpful. The river and beach area were fantastic.

Had a great time staying at Gypsy Moon! I would definitely stay here again

There is a large pavilion just in front of the dollhouse, just yards away from the river bank below. It has seating/picnic areas, as well as some things to keep smaller children entertained.

1 night at Gypsy Moon Hideaway

We enjoyed Gypsy Moon Hideaway on both visits. The Dollhouse was clean, had the essentials and we also got visited by some of the friendly animals who reside there. We will be back.

We’ve been here a few times and love it. We love the goats and the chickens and big Fred the goose. It’s beautiful and quiet. A beautiful drive back there too. You thankfully forget you are in the metroplex. And Amy the host is a sweetheart. Please don’t take site 1 we like it open for ourselves. lol

Amazing experience! Had a cute kitten chilling with me at my campsite the whole time to keep me company. This is super close to a pretty big town incase you want a nice meal or need to get some internet. 10/10 would recommend and will be back!
