Dave's place was absolutely gorgeous! We woke up to the sound of cows after a restful nights sleep on flat ground. He was super kind and even surprised us with baked goods the morning we left. The view of the stars is unbeatable!

This was pure rural awesomeness! David is a great host who greets you then leaves you to your peace. I loved seeing the cows in the adjacent pasture and there are a couple of friendly horses across the road who might come to the fence and say hello. I had a relaxing few days here and will come back next time I'm in the Abilene area.

Dave was a good host. He communicated well and was accommodating (I had a late check in). The site (and instant booking option) worked out great for me as I booked only a few hours before my arrival. All in all a very good camp.
