THESE ARE THE GOOD OLE DAYS When the Hi-Line Resort was founded in 1955 life was a bit slower and a lot less complicated. Families gathered on the shores of the lake to fish, soak up the sun, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life on the water. Since then, life outside of the pristine shores of Lake Buchanan has become a lot noisier and more complicated. We're all digital and disconnected, and the daily rigamarole can be just plain stressful. Now, when you venture out to the Hi-Line, you're invited to step back to a simpler time. Our backyard is the great outdoors. The only thing on your ToDo list is to slow down, relax, and unwind from the grind. Here you can unplug and reconnect with friends and family — and have some good ole fashioned fun while you're at it. Whether you're here for the fishin', the sunnin' or the swimmin', the Hi-Line has always been an idyllic backdrop for memories in the making. Get back to the good ole days and get down to the Hi-Line.

Weekend Trip to Urban Hideout

What a peaceful, cozy, comfortable spot, with the kindest hosts. The cabin was perfectly appointed. I needed a place to rest and recharge and I got exactly that. The outdoor shower was the icing on the cake. Pretty much nothing better than being sheltered by a wise old oak tree as you wash off that road dirt. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to see the more peaceful and humane side of Austin!

Weekend Trip to Hill Country Glamping Photo Safari

My husband, dogs, and I stayed in The Hideout and it was the perfect cozy space with everything we needed. Communication was top notch and river access for fishing was a definite perk. We saw plenty of wildlife during our stay as well.

1 night at Hill Country Micro-Farm Glamping

We really enjoyed our stay! Just a few notes for future guests: the yurts are located in the owners’ backyard, so there isn’t a ton of privacy, and the bathroom doors don’t fully close since they don’t lock. The property has lots of fun animals, which adds to the charm, though a few did get out during our visit (a chicken, the dog, and even the pig) — a little stressful since we had our own dogs with us, but admittedly, waking up to a rogue pig was pretty thrilling. Last note, the heater in yurt 4 doesn’t work. 7/10

I had the best time with my little family in our very first camping trip here. Everything was well kept the most beautiful views and scenic river. The evem owners checked on us and asked if we needed anything and I had rembered that our kids cot stayed behind and could use an extra one which they graciously brought by for kiddos. We loved the community feeling, yet still with had privacy and the convenient amenities. We will be back again 100%

We had an awesome time at "The Bin"! The cabin is well laid out! The deck and Hot tub are very convenient and easy to access! The STARS are amazing! Host is Great!

We had a fantastic stay this past weekend in the Apache Tent! The set up inside the tent was roomie and very comfortable. The restroom/shower area were close and clean. They had many welcoming touches through out the site. Hoping I can find a weekend to return with my grandson.

Unique glamping experience, beautifully located with exceptional peace a quite. Facilities are clean, and kept to high standards. Nearby Llano is a welcoming city with historical attractions, also several of the Texas State Parks that are unique and worth visiting. Star gazing was amazing! A definite repeat!

What a wonderful property! We stayed in the Blue Loft Eco-cabin and loved it! Travis was super helpful with the instructions, accommodations and activities at Living Waters and nearby. Very friendly guests in neighboring lodges and peaceful river atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

We absolutely loved the dome! It was so private and serene. Beautiful views of the sunset in the evening and deer passing by in the morning. The dome itself was clean, well designed, and well appointed (down to the airfryer and adjustable desk with a monitor!). The bed was really comfortable with no shortage of linens and the A/C was nice an powerful! It was a very short drive from Llano, close to Enchanted Rock, and just far enough from Austin to feel like a true getaway. Hands-down an amazing experience!

Wow! Loved the drive to sites. So easy to locate your site and the views are incredible! I specifically booked for the stars and it did NOT DISAPPOINT! Felt like we were under the milky way! Plan to come back to stay at all the different sites and bring a crew too!
