We are a family of 4 plus dog with a studio apartment/casita available for short-term rental in our backyard. Casita El Dorado features a full bathroom, couch/murphy bed combo, mini fridge, and kitchenette. Please note that the proximity to the main house doesn't allow for a great deal of privacy unless you are indoors. Our property is 1.25 acres in a 1970s suburban neighborhood. We think it's the perfect mix of community and urban convenience with a tranquil and private setting. Guests will have access to our backyard and pool and one off-street parking spot. The backyard features several seating areas and a pool that are available to use during your stay. We have a grill, fire pit, and laundry facilities that can be used by making arrangements directly with us after booking. OTHER SITES Bootstrap Academy - our pandemic backyard schoolhouse - is now a flex space featuring a home office setup, some work out equipment, and a twin bed with a second twin mattress as a trundle. Wonderful location, beautiful view, peaceful day and night. During our stay the area was hit by historical flooding. Despite this situation being outside of Laura's control, she constantly provided updates regarding weather, the restoration of power, and kept us apprised of road conditions and provided us the best window of time to make our exit and return to home. Fortunately, given the location, we were at an elevation that ensured our safety and piece of mind. I highly recommend a stay at this property and we will definitely be back. P.S. - Note - Laura at Loving Heart Retreats even provided a place to stay at the retreat to a gentleman that was stuck on the mountain due to flooding. This furthers my confidence that this truly is a loving heart operation! Thanks for everything, Laura.

Leah’s place is such a peaceful and welcoming spot! The land is spacious and beautifully maintained, with lots of room to spread out and enjoy nature. I was greeted by her sweet and friendly dog, which was such a fun surprise. The pool is perfect for cooling off on a warm day, and there’s a cozy hammock tucked under the trees that’s great for relaxing with a book. I also loved the fire pit area—it’s a great setup for sitting under the stars. Overall, it’s a quiet, charming spot with everything you need for a relaxing outdoor getaway.

Wow! We stayed in the Vineyard cabin and it was beautiful! The cabin had everything we needed. The bathrooms, kitchen, linens, everything was spotless. The hot tub overlooking the creek was such an amazing touch. We were even able to go see the ponies! I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!
